There really is something different about Lush, it is so far beyond a brand or a shop. It's a way of life. I hope to one day have a collection that rivals your own :)
I'm really glad you didn't feel the need to preface this with excuses about how you have every right to buy these products because it's your money, and other things to that effect. Be proud of your collection! No need to explain yourself to any negative people c; serious jealousy over this once again, it's good to have a little more footage to justify my own obsession to my mom, haha! Also, your hair looks lovely in this c:
I had to come back to this video before I bought more shower jellies from the Kitchen this week...just had to make sure that I can hoard these safely! ;) I'm keeping the ones I bought last month (Karma and Strawberry Twin Tub) in the freezer thus far and will probably do the same with Twilight (which I just snagged) and the million pots of Rose Jam I plan to buy on Friday. Thank you, Jen!
Jen, as a relative newcomer to Lush (within the last year), your videos and especially your blog are so fun and educational, but your collection videos are my favorites. I get a tour of products I'll probably never see, some I won't ever enjoy, and some that I could say HECK YES, that's for me and scoop them up when they become available. As far as comparisons-I tried to show your shower gels to my partner to show that my own collection is really quite reasonable, that there are many Lush scents and products I won't buy, and some people collect them all. He looked at me with fear in his eyes, worrying that a Lush room would be in his future. Oh dear!
Snowman shower jelly was amazing in the Australian seasonal range because we have summer Christmas in the Southern Hemisphere. I used it on Christmas morning as the warm sun was rising and it was GORGEOUS ❤️
Watched part 1 watched part 2.... love love love your collection!!! And your sarcasm!!!! Just the best!!! Thank for sharing... off to part 3 Now if it's up..
Finally had time to watch, been waiting for this video. Love to watch these videos they make me happy. I wish the videos would never end! Thanks Jenn for the amazing videos.
I love your videos! your so funny and entertaining!! I love watching your lush hauls they make me feel like I have the products with out having to buy them! I was wondering if you like products because of the look (like color), scent, and or use (like lather or moisturizing). I was also wondering why some products of the same type like bath bombs or soap have the same scent, like butterball and butterbear or supernova and golden wonder.
Will we see a Lush Kitchen Menu video from you this week? I'm really looking forward to seeing your hyperventilation-inducing excitement about this week.
maybe i've treated my little tub of sweetie pie badly, its out of date and doesn't smell anything like it used to where whoosh and needles and pines that are also out of date smell fine i'm never going to be able to use up my kitchen jellies before their date so i hope they don't suffer the same fate as my sweetie pie lol this year if i manage to get to my local Lush's halloween/christmas launch night, i have to remember to prioritise the halloween stuff, was so disappoined that i didn't buy a nightwing while they were available!
I've lately been obsessed with shower jellies and I've tried lots of ways of using them, but I still haven't found the one for me. How do you use shower jellies?
I found that the best way to use shower jellies is put one in the blender, blend it and back in its pot. Them when you go to use it you just grab a scoop and use.
I just used the whole thing like a particularly wobbly soap! Some people cut them into chunks to use them like that, some people will mush them up into a netting loofah, some people freeze them in chunks because apparently that makes them easier to work with and can be very refreshing in hot summer months.
I love using it this way: if that's a 240g tub - cut it in half in two circles; if that a 100g tub - just grab the whole thing. Then take Lush metal tin (either square one for body butter or circle one for solid shampoo), put the jelly in and rub the jelly all over yourself using the tin as a holder. That way the jelly won't slip out of your hand because it stays in the tin (as long as you don't turn the tin upside down with any support underneath the jelly of course). When it gets smaller, I switch to the lid of the said tin. If it gets too small, either: 1. Cut it in several pieces and smash one into a loofah to use or 2. Grind it using a blender or grater or a a sieve in to the smallest pieces and add hot water to dissolve. Now you got yourself a quite runny (depending on how much water you added) shower gel with a lovely scent of your favourite shower jelly that you can use without a fear of it going down the drain :) I suggest transferring your "diy" shower gel into an empty 100g Lush shower gel bottle (I normally get around 100ml of gel from the remains of my showel jelly) and store it in a fridge to prevent it from going bad early. Enjoy! :)
I emailed lush the last time Iced Wine came out because I couldn't see anything in the ingredients list to make it not vegan, and apparently one of the perfumes used in it (or at least the newer batches) contains beeswax. Not sure how accurate this is but hope it helps :)
That's the same as, is it Grease Lightening? The tattoo cream bar they sell. I couldn't find anything in the ingredients but it didn't say it was vegan, so I asked a kind employee who made a few calls and told me it was beeswax in the fragrance. Sounds legit.
+Aimee Navarro the catoluge with the Christmas lineup was a leak and everyone has been asked not to share anything- Boxing Day sale is what stock that hasn't been baught - every store is different and its whole stocks last 😘
+Beebee4029 ok thank you anyway, ive only became a huge fan of lush for about 2 years but i missed last years boxing sale, i know its buy one get one where i live, but when do you find out the products being realeased?
The products released on Boxing Day are not 'new' products - they sell off what's left from the Christmas range...so there's no way of knowing, even of Lush themselves knowing, until Christmas Day is over.
All Things Lush UK it's the only lotion I have I love it. I just started getting into lush a month ago, but I'm also a minimalist so I want a lot of things but don't need them:/
