That's great to hear that Criterion introduced you to a new favourite filmmaker - Tarkovsky - its just a shame there are so few Tarkovsky films. With all of the different boutique labels out there, there's never been a better time to discover exciting new cinema and new favourites. 👍

Hey Steve; thanks so much for stopping by 😀🙏🍿🎸🎶 It was so sad Tarkovsky passed away shortly after his final film ‘The Sacrifice’ released. Such an amazing director with an incredible filmography; I definitely need to do a ranking on his films someday and I always sing Criterion’s praises for introducing me to that director and couple other great filmmakers too 😊

Wow what a collection mate 😲😀👍🏻 I do like blind buying from boutique labels to get a good variety of film through ur eyeballs, I managed to keep my criterion collection right down to about 17 titles 😅

Hello Sam. I've really enjoyed this quintet dive into your criterion collection 😍 If you enjoyed Shock Corridor you should check out more Samuel Fuller. Such a great director 👏 The Naked Kiss and Pickup on South Street are 2 I'd recommend. Anatomy of a Murder is incredible and yeah I'd never linked it with Anatomy of a fall before you said. I can see that now. Can't go wrong with Stewart ❤ I'm looking forward to seeing where your collection takes us next 👍

@@roybarratt5609 hey Roy; thanks so much for stopping by 😀🙏🍿🎸🎶 Thanks so much for the lovely kind words and I’m not sure if there’s any resemblance between both the ‘Anatomy’ films; not sure if there meant to be similar; but nonetheless I absolutely love A.O.A.F; superb film and I got to get onto the film A.O.A.M; heard great films 😀 I believe ‘The Naked Kiss’ is also on the Criterion label 😀👍 Definitely want to check out more SF’s movies mate; Jimmy Stewart aswell; especially the Westerns be starred in 🤠 Thanks so much again Roy mate; are you picking anything in the ‘Buy One; Get One Free’ offer in HMV btw? 🤩 Part One of my MUBI collection out tommoz mate; travelling down to Halifax right now as I speak; seeing the mighty Pixies tommoz 😍
