My Sister was recently diagnosed with Crohn's disease. She has the same extreme nausea as you described and very painful bloating and flatulence. Thank you for sharing your story since just as you said the symptoms are so wide ranging. When you have a disease such as this with no cure and the true cause is unknown, every bit of knowledge is important. We're going to try those probiotics to see if they work. Thanks for sharing! I did the Specific Carbohydrate Diet and it worked for me....I feel like diet needs to be talked about a lot more when it comes to Crohn's disease, since it makes such a huge difference. Food journaling was also super helpful to find foods that made me feel worse. Hope you are still doing well! :)

Have you had your thyroid checked? It looks kinda swollen and it's common to have more than one autoimmune disease! I have Hashimoto's so I'm always vigilant 😊

OMG girl I’m in the middle of getting diagnosed and when I first got sent to the ER I was told to eat stuff like the white rice, bananas, and toast. I felt WORSE. I switched back to my normal 95% vegan diet and I feel better. I hope you’ve found something that works for you ❤️

I know you posted this awhile ago but I just wanted to tell you that your story is so similar to mine! I had the terrible nausea for almost two years before they diagnosed me with crohns. I tried almost all of the same medications and none of them worked until I tried Humira which I’m still on now. I still have nausea occasionally so my doctor prescribed me a nausea medication which is great to have just in case. Hope you’re doing well now!

i was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis last october and im 12 it was the worst experience. i have remicade infusions every 7 weeks. i was hospitalized for 8 days and had a colonoscopy and endoscopy had to have ng tubes and tb many more things it was terrible then i left to go home and came back 2 days later with kidney stones! then they found the kidney stones those are awful. then u was hospitalized for two days with that then the next day i went back to school and left early and got diagnosed with hydronophroses which is swelling of the kidney snd fluid on it. they surgically placed a stent and i had that in there for 1 month that was painful.im doing so so much better now though i dont take any medication just my vitamin d and i also take the multi gummy vitamin and a probiotic. the best medication for nausea is zofran. its the best it takes away nausea is 5 minutes it isnt an otc drug though its a prescription so just ask your doctor and the are easy to take and they taste good. thank you for sharing your story!

I have an appointment on friday for the dr. To start trying to find what's wrong with me. They suspect crohns.

Everyday I have a time or 2 where I'm screaming and crying from stomach pain, I have ulcers, sometimes in my mouth but definitely in my stomach. I have constant nausea. Then the constipation and diarrhea. And fatigue. I got sent to the ER the other day.. Im just freaked out

Ive had crohns 23years. Had my first resection 4yrs ago. Its a birdon on my daily life aka bathroom locating skills lol

So I actually ended up in the hospital.. Have been for a few days. They have a colonoscopy scheduled for monday

I just got diagnosed in Oct. I never had diarrhea, had the opposite instead. Got diagnosed through a colonoscopy because I became anemic. Didn't know thou could have crohns with constipation lol. Anyway I took lialda first too and had the same symptoms as you did but mine lasted for about 2 weeks then was fine.

My son has this since he was 12 yrs old now he's 30 non of the doctors are doing anything for him. Hundreds of trips to the ER only to give him pain meds and send him home. They do not listen to him ct scans done many of them MRI. Also now he's stiral. Its putting a band aid in the wound. He's had been on every single medication known to man. He is wasting away to nothing. I'm afraid he is dieing. He's 5.11 and weighs 120 pounds and Loosing weight every day. When he's able to eat which is rare as he can't eat when he does it comes out. I'm at my wits end. I sm watching my son slowly dieing a slow tormented death in front of me. I have been to the hospital with him many times even my voice is not heard. HELP SOMEONE PLEASE.
