Great video and tips Samantha! I let my curls air dry and they curl out beautifully. However, my main problem is that they frizz out as the day progresses though. I will prolly try sectioning and applying hair product to each section like you did to see if that makes any difference. Thank you so much for doing this video...was much needed and really appreciate it!💖
I think that will help. Frizz that fast usually is a sign of a lack of moisture in your hair so the edges of the follicle start to lift and cause frizz.

Thanks for this! My hair is so similar to yours, color and all. I've alternated curly and blow outs forever but Im really trying to just stay on the curly hair train now. I'd also like to see the days after wash days. My wash day is great. Day two is ok. I hate it by day 3 because i don't know what to do. Lol. I always thought my hair was wavy, but then I took the Curly Girl Hair Method test and realized I have ringlets! When using the right products, I think people with wavy hair can have beautiful and natural curls!
I have loose ringlet curls. I use the Aussie Miracle Curls shampoo and then some curl cream while it’s wet. I haven’t found a curl cream I like yet, so I’m looking around! But that shampoo is my ride or die.
Aussie is great! And honestly, you might not be able to use curl cream, it might be too heavy. I don’t really use it because it is too heavy and I don’t like the results.
Question: Do you ever "refresh" with just a spray of water or refresh mixture? I find I can go 12-14 days without a full wash if I refresh. Easier in the spring/summer because even though our hair is difficult to drench, it takes forever to dry...
I don’t, I don’t like the smell of my hair after day 5 or 6 so I wear fresh curls until I pin it up, then wash. But there are a couple refreshing sprays out there that I like, like Blueberry Bliss.
This is “quick and easy?” I just get the damp out of my curly hair and let it air dry following that. Helps keep frizz down. I also flip my hair over,drying just the roots.
Good question, i currently always dry blow dry my hair unless I’m on the water (boat, beach, pool, etc) so I don’t have any natural dry options that I love.
