With everyone staying home as much as possible during this pandemic I have been doing a lot of reading. Stephen King is my #1 Favourite Author so of course I have been reading his books a lot and I got to thinking that I have never shown you my entire collection. Due to the bookshelf where I keep my collection being in a place where it is hard to shoot a video I pulled them all out and arranged them in alphabetical order. I have other Stephen King book videos on my channel - just search Stephen King in the search bar on my channel and it should pull up a list of videos I did with the name Stephen King in either the title or description.

Awesome!! Welcome to my channel new Constant Reader! 👋😎 My son gave me my hardcover of Everything Is Eventual when I was really sick in bed. I loved it!! I would read and drift off the sleep, read and drift off again. That book holds a special place in my heart because of my son and because it is a great book. You are going to enjoy It as well. I have read that particular one several times over the years. I also own the movies It and It Part 2 but I always prefer the book to the movie, after all Stephen King wrote the books - he always tells it the best.

Hi, thanks for watching...I agree I love seeing the various editions of his work from different countries too. I don't set out to collect all the different covers etc but if I buy a second copy accidentally while out and the cover is different than the one I have at home it gets to stay. 😉😊

Don't get me wrong, hardcovers are cool and more durable but something about paperbacks with a creased spine is so pleasing to me.

I feel the same way about paperbacks and they are easier to read in bed. Well loved and well read is a win/win to me.

Wow, thank you so much! Congratulations on becoming a Constant Reader as Stephen King's fans are known. Enjoy your journey through his works. Just curious...which one of his books did you start with? Mine was Carrie way back in the day when he first started. I find reading just before sleep to be my time to indulge and as a way to wind down from the day.

thank you I actually started with Cell, a pretty underated not very loved book by the reviews but I loved it, and considering it's not one of his best I can not wait to get started on the rest of my collection. I also enjoy readying at night but it the minute with lockdown I'm always in my garden reading.

at the moment I have The Stand, Pet Sematary, Cujo, IT and The Shinning so I've got a good bunch to get started with.

I appreciate collections like this, all florid and varied. I think it's fascinating to see how his books have been reissued and marketed through the years - all the different versions make it fun for collectors to remain interested even when they've read everything by King. My personal Holy Grail quest is to acquire all the Signet paperback editions that were released around 2003/04 (the ones with the thick, different-colored bands on the lower half of the spine/cover, like the paperback versions of Desperation and Skeleton Crew that you have). My father used to buy me a King book for Christmas/birthdays every year and those Signet editions remind me of him.

Oh wow, I am so sorry for the delayed response. Thank you so much for watching and for sharing your memories with me. I too like the various covers - it makes it interesting for sure. My son buys me Stephen King books for Christmas and birthdays too...I have to keep him up to date with my list of what I have since I am always collecting throughout the year. I tend to like the artwork on the various hard cover editions but love the paperbacks for their portability. Good luck on your Holy Grail search....check everywhere - I love thrift stores for finding treasures that are either out of print or an alternate to what I have. 👋😊 Have a wonderful day/night.

Great collection. I have a copy of the Bachman Books with Rage in it. Its absolutely battered but I love it so glad I own it. Thanks for sharing your collection

Wow you really have a nice good collection of Stephen King books very nice I am a Stephen king fan as well and i currently own a few of his books in my collection haven’t had the time to read them all because I work a lot overnight at Walmart but eventually I will get to them thanks for sharing your collection love Isiah

LOL, you know it! No I don't have them all yet but I am slowly ticking them off my list and yes, I am always on the hunt. 😉I agree Nick, books are a great distraction these days...and I like other authors too but Stephen King is my absolute favourite. I also read Dean Koontz, James Patterson, Lee Child, and many others but I don't make an effort to collect all of their works like I am with my guy Stephen's. 😎📚

Beautiful collection I got everyone of he’s books I haven’t read all he’s books yet but I’m trying to read them I’m stay at home so hopefully I will read them all soon

Thanks...that is my goal actually, to own all of his books one day. As I said in the video I have a database going on my phone and tablet so when I am out I know which books I have and which ones I still need to pick up to complete my collection. Jealous of that Bachman book collection! I only have a single copy of The Long Walk (amazing book). I’ve seen Roadwork and The running man separately too. But it’s nearly impossible to find the collection with Rage included these days!

I agree...it is nearly impossible to find this particular book. I treasure having this one in my collection and I have a hard and fast rule to NEVER share my books. I have done so before and lost them. 🙄😕 Never again.

I know this will sound weird to some people and to some they will sadly know where I'm coming from. Stephen King saved my sanity as a teenager. When i read his books i could leave my horrible home life for a few chapters at a time. If I'm honest more than a few chapters at a time. But i digress. When people talk about his drug/alcohol abuse. He's human. Shit happens. Mr. King is the one who told us He had a problem. He's overcome His addictions and is a better man for it. Also from what I see and hear His kids are well adjusted human beings. Be like Stephen King!

I hear you there. Sadly, I am someone who can vouch for Stephen King saving their life, just like you. I agree with you about cutting him some slack when it comes to addictions. That man has nothing but my utmost respect. 🤗🥰

LOL, I love that! The Stand is exactly the one to be reading right now. We call it COVID-19 or Coronavirus but in the book you will see it referred to as Captain Tripps. ;) I would try to immerse myself into the story and try to forget what surrounds us. :) Happy reading and thanks for watching.

Hi thanks for watching. That's okay, I have definitely read The Shining. I have it in paperback and you can see it at the 9:59 mark it is yellow. Not your fault you missed it since the glare of the lights kinda blotted out the wording on the spine. It is a great one, I agree, and I have reread it several times over the years. Do you have a collection? If so how many do you have and are they a mixture of hardcover and paperback like mine? Always nice to meet a fellow CR.👋😃

Thanks for watching and for the great question. I don't have an exact count at the moment but since Stephen King is still producing new books I imagine the number of books needed to complete my collection of his books will keep going up. :)

Avui he ordenat a Amazon del meu país la seva més recent col·lecció "If It Bleeds" i la data d’entrega prevista és el 4 de maig. Estic emocionat d’afegir aquesta també a la meva col·lecció.
