Firstly girl there is no such thing as “Too Big” lol 😂😂 . That stone is absolutely stunning . I have been researching Moissanite for some time now , I was debating on upgrading my Diamond stud earrings and getting Moissanite studs instead . I know so many people now that are opting for this gem instead of diamond . I love my diamond wedding rings , don’t get me wrong ,however at the end of the day , they are still just shiny rocks and they are crazy expensive for no reason at all ! They led people to believe diamonds were rare and they aren’t rare at all . Unless you have some special , flawless diamond , the average diamond being sold today , are a dime a dozen . I think you made a wise and ethical decision for sure ,,thank you for sharing your experience ! Enjoy that sparkly , beautiful ring !
That simply is talk by people trying to make themselves feel better for not being able to afford diamonds 💎 the energy a rock formed under earths pressures through millions of years simply cannot be made in a laboratory. There’s energetic signature to all stones, and synthetic stones have their own color therapy, but they do not carry not absorb the energy the way the earth made stones do. It’s like comparing breast milk and formula for newborns, it has lasting impact on human life, same as precious metals and stones. And if you pay for diamonds you know exactly why they’re expensive. You haven’t mined or cut them yaself ay:) That said, this moissanite rock looks beautiful as a statement cocktail ring, I’d wear it and stare at it all day. Happy 4th y’all
When I got engaged I was all about "needing" to have white gold and real diamonds. There's such a pressure, like you aren't in love unless you have the real stuff. Now that we have 2 kids and a mortgage, I've moved away from that thinking. I recently sold my real diamond ring to get a more expensive looking moissanite. Can't wait for it to come in.
Hey Victoria I had a question , since your videos I have been researching and watching as many videos I can to learn more about this beautiful gem . I have learned that some jewelers only use natural diamonds or lab made diamonds for the side stone pave settings , then I see there are some that use Moissanite as the side stones or halo stones . Are your side stones and hidden halo stones diamond or Moissanite ? 1 jeweler I watch “Lauren B Jewelers “ claimed in 1 of their videos that they only use diamond for the settings around the Moissanite because they don’t feel it’s as durable for the teeny tiny stones to be Moissanite . I don’t know how true this is obviously , so I wanted to ask what your tiny stones were ? Thanks In advance ! 🥰
Hi again! I just commented on your first ring video. Your choice of a larger size is understandable: this does look more flattering, & it elongates your fingers. My hands are small, with long, thin fingers. My wedding rings are size 3,5. I cannot wear anything that lengthens my fingers, so the wider emerald cut should look good. Thanks for your detailed, informed review.
Thank you! Yeah I have more short wide fingers so a larger stone makes my finger looks small and more delicate. I’m sure an emerald will look amazing on you! Thank you again for your sweet comment!
Thank you soo much your 3 videos were sooo helpful. I was debating between a 7ct or 10ct Moissanite oval engagement ring. I'm 5ft tall & I too have short chubby sausage fingers. At first we were gonna get a 4ct cushion cut, then we both said let's do a 7ct oval cut. But I was like what if I change my mind? What if in a few years I want the bigger stone? Now he's like just get the 10ct ring
I used Amy and forever for love to buy the Victoria elongated hybrid crushed ice oval in a 14x9. I also had a pair of oval earrings 2 ct each 4 tcw made. They are both stunning. Im looking for a second ring and have considered a bigger oval like this video, a marquise and an emerald. Amy really knows her jewelry. Im looking to buy a lab diamond in the same size, but want to try them all before purchasing something so expensive. The Moissanite is so beautiful that I can literally have it made into a cocktail ring or pendant. I'm even considering a broach or putting it in a white gold and Moissanite tiara for family weddings in future.
How did you sell your first two of you don’t mind me asking. I ordered mine and I’m already thinking ahead just in case I don’t feel comfortable with the size
Beautiful ring!!! How is it holding up? Following your recommendation, I have contacted Amy and I'm going to get her team to custom make a ring for me too 🙂.
I just placed an order from the seller you recommended, super excited for the ring to come! It took me about a year to searching for the perfect one, and now I finally find it. Thank you for this video!!! ❤️ And I bought it for myself, not waiting for a man to get it for me when I can just get it myself.
Maybe I missed it, but is this still the same ring as the one in the second video? I know you got like a 3/4 carat in the first video, then a 7 in the second. Is this the same as the 7 and you’re just answering more questions? I also was wondering if you’ve taken it to a jeweler to confirm that it is indeed moissanite since it was a fraction of the price of the moissanite rings which are sold by ForeverOne (they created moissanite) because it’s a known scam that Etsy and other sellers sell CZ and pass it off as Moissanite. That’s my main concern since I’m looking to buy. I appreciate your videos! It’s helped me to make up my mind on which size I want.
This is a 9ct I believe and I never went to get it verified per say but when I have gone to jewelers for other reasons they always ask to see my ring and have never said it’s fake! One jeweler even tested with a diamond checker!! So no worries hun they’re legit ❤️ but if you do feel nervous they do provide certification upon request. I definitely encourage you buy from them and tell Amy I sent you, she’s amazing!!
A real diamond or diamond like ring would have much more structure to secure the stone. A rock like that absolutely gives off non- diamond vibes as does costume jewelry because the basket is basically on a peg while the band is much too thin. Be careful, this style is not for everyday wear if you do chores or work a lot with your hands.
@@mariakristinahawl1640 thank you for your comment! I wore it 24/7 and found no issues! I ended up changing my setting recently for different reasons but I totally understand what you mean 😁
Hello, your ring is beautiful! I recently purchased a ring from them and then I watched this video and am confused on the cut as far as crushed ice vs hybrid crushed ice. Did you have to request the hybrid cut? Some of their listings state “Hybrid” in the title and others state that you can have the option of a “crushed ice / hybrid forever” stone in the description section of the listing. I messaged Amy asking what the difference was and she is re-cutting the stone (I think) I assumed it was either or depending on which ring is purchased but I’m still confused. 😩
Hi! So if you purchased awhile ago like around when I purchased my second or first ring then it would be regular crushed ice but going forward from around the time I got my third ring they switched over to hybrid. Meaning every crushed ice is already hybrid cut, no more JUST crushed ice ONLY hybrid crushed ice. It looks stunning!!
@@VictoriaLaoudis thank you for such a fast reply. I purchased the ring a couple weeks ago so I am still waiting for it. I didn’t realize there was a difference until I watched this video. I messaged Amy yesterday and she said that the Hybrid has more sparkle and will “change” my stone to the Hybrid, so I’m assuming the ring I purchased was going to come with the original crushed ice stone?? That’s where I’m confused and I don’t think I conveyed that properly to her. Both stones look beautiful either way and Amy seems very sweet.
@@rebekahgarcia2462 you’re welcome! And there are many cuts not just crushed ice so it may have been a brilliant cut or something. Amy is great and she’ll surely get the job done!
Did you have any extra fees for the custom fees? If so how much was it as an estimate for that? I just purchase a ring and it said I might be charged for additional fees during shipping.
you say at roughly 4minutes that you like how it 'looks like a diamond, or diamond like', so my question is when someone comments on your ring asking if it's a diamond how do you respond to it? do they ask are you trying to pull off its a diamond because you chose a stone that looks 'like a diamond?'.
I always inform them that it’s a moissanite, I’m not trying to hide that or impersonate a diamond but I haven’t had any negative feedback or questions when I do tell people it’s moissanite. As long as you love your ring it shouldn’t matter what others think!
Love the ring, it would be nice to see in different light setting. Can you tell the difference between crushed ice and brilliant? Also how much was the cost of your ring it’s a beautiful 💍!
So i've been doing my research & i'm wondering if you have any idea why this Etsy company's price is like 1,600$ when this other page i've been following forever on insta is 6,500$ for the same ring? do you honestly think it's the quality? i. Can’t see it being anything else?
It has a lot to do with the suppliers prices and labor and you also have to consider pricing for UK as well. I’m not an expert nor have I been over there but it could also be that’s normal pricing for engagement rings in the UK. Honestly the quality is not any less just because it’s cheaper, Amy rings are amazing and just as great quality as an other high end moissanite seller! Trust me you’ll love it ☺️
Thank you so much for the info babe!! I absolutely love it!!!! My last question if you would please lol! Does it get opaque when getting into swimming pools or beach water? My boyfriend & I travel a lot & just wanna be sure the quality doesn’t deteriorate when I get in bleach water or beach water! Thank you 😘♥️
