Hey everyone, today we're doing a deep dive on my brand new custom recaro pole positions which will be going into the BMW M2 G87. These are the ABE model seats which are road legal and allow for bigger occupants. I got these as they were the cheapest and most common buckets on the market but wanted to spice them up by adding a unique fabric called Gray M-Rain. This fabric features the classic M-tricorn colors of blue red and purple and contrasts the car very nicely. Enjoy the video and let me know what you think!

Nice seats but the stock seats (even the non-carbon) are still fantastic - wayyyy better for daily than any race seat lol. If you are that worried about making it a track car prob not ideal wheels and suspension upgrades. Still looking forward to seeing how they look and hold up!

Definitely disagree on the part about M sport seats being fantastic. I can't begin to tell you how much more confident I am driving this car now that I'm locked in place and can't move. I have a much better understanding of what the car is doing in corners and how the weight is shifting around. They're also extremely comfortable! I do realize that comfort is subjective though and it totally depends on each persons relative spine health. I agree about the KW HAS kit not being ideal for track, coilovers are on the wishlist. As far as wheels go, I've shaved 24lbs of unsprung weight by going for forged, so no mistakes were made there in my eyes.

Congrats on your Recaros. What are u gonna do with the factory seats? Got my g87 with the all black seats and regret I didn't get the ones u have with the splash of color on the seat back. They look so good.

Hey man! Big fan. I’m definitely considering doing recaro seats for my manual g80 when it’s time. I sat in my friends set of pole positions and was in love with how confident I felt behind the wheel of his car. I am looking forward to your install video - Ryan

those are sick! glad i have the buckets but if i didn't i would definitely get some pole positions. people seem to think any bucket seat is super uncomfortable but that's only for people with no ass that need the extra cushion

Buckets from factory is the way to go, so aggressive yet comfortable and they look great too.
