@@benhaddengolf 52 yr old, 2 hcp...I'd totally join up. I'm like the slightly swollen version of your dad (re: fat), so there is ample (haha) opportunity for jokes...
Larry Haden representing Dads and living up to our hype. Respect the man Ben. The old guy always gets to hit first on the opening Tee. Loved the video.
You’re so fortunate to be playing with your Dad . Showing him the LOVE while he is alive is the greatest thing you can do . Building memories that you can one day pass on to your son and daughter hopefully . Love the banter between you . ❤️🙌
I agree. Me and my dad were never close growing up and talked once a year after I moved out at 17. After a lot of deaths, we started hanging out 3 years ago and I started playing golf with him. I had a daughter 2 years ago, we hang out 3 days and are like best buddies. Makes me wish we were able to grow up 15 years ago and enjoy these times together. I’m not sure why I typed out this whole message but listening to you guys talk about your fathers made me think about how much better life is to have close relationships. Great video.
Nice video with your dad. Dad does have a decent game for sure. I am in my late sixties and will offer you a friendly bit of wisdom based on my own experience: Treasure every minute with your mother, father, grandparents, aunts, and uncles, (your family). There will come a day that you'll wish you'd spent much more time with them... and that day will come much, much sooner than you think it will. Praying that you have many more rounds and much more time with Dad. Thanks for sharing.
I’m 40 and lost my dad last November unexpectedly. Your comment definitely hits home. I spent a lot of time with my dad but still wish I’d spent more. 🙏🏼
@@flowrezzzzI’m sorry for your loss. Me and my dad never cared about each other growing up, but the game of golf brought us very close 3 years ago. I couldn’t imagine losing my dad now. Hope you’re doing alright man.
I’m 28 and lost my dad this year to a hospital error. Loosing him was what got me into golf. It gave me something to take my mind off of it. I found good good and from there Ben and watching your content has helped me so much.
This was such a great video, Ben!! It brings me so much joy to see father and son out together, enjoying each others company and playing some golf. You look just like your pops, and now we know where you get your personality and humor. I think you should start a series with your dad. God bless you both!!
This is it! Just started the video Ben, but this is the content I can feel in my soul. Hi Ben's dad 👋 my favorite thing on the planet is golfing with my Son(s). Great to see 🍻
Man I already said how awesome of a video this is with your Pops, what about a series of these with you Dad man. I don't know if that would be hard to do, but what a great series ides for your channel. Your Dad is awesome, and great on camera, this could be huge bro, father son series?!
I’ve lost my dad and mom. You’re very fortunate and it’s great to see you two together on the course. Btw, your dad is cooler than the flip side of the pillow! 💯
Great video Ben. Recently my father has severely declined physically, we didn’t have a great relationship growing up. As I got a little older, golf was something we had in common. With that our relationship grew and we are now very close. The one thing we both miss the most is golfing together. It’s beautiful to see you and you dad having a match together. Cherish every day, you can’t realize what just a simple day on the course means until there are no more left. God bless you both. Keep the great content coming!
Ben, somewhat related to this video but also several other videos of yours; the music is absolutely so cool. Maybe that's you, maybe the editor but either way I'm loving it. Btw I'm loving the actual content of the videos as well. 😂 Keep up the good work. I feel like the Good Good train is a great train to be on. All the channels and sub-channels are making great content and it is appreciated!
Have become a big fan of you. Rooting for you to take your career where you want it to go. Also the quality in your videos has also kicked up a notch since you started with GG.
I just lost a man that was a second father to me, cherish these moments while you can and never take the time you have together for granted. Great content can’t wait for the rematch.
Love to see this been...I golfed with my Dad 30yrs later of the last time, and a couple days before my my most recenting wedding with my now wife. My Dad still beat me by a couple strokes, but I was hoping I would beat him for the first time ever.
Love the content man, started following you because of good good and then did some research. Loved what you did about your clubs being stolen and turning that into a positive. love seeing you grow with the good good guys. Would love to get a round with you if your ever near the Detroit area!
Ben that was great watching you and your dad go head to head both very talented same thing my son and I do when we surf we're both competition surfers but we're backwards he taught me to competition surf anyhow it's fun playing with your kid and with your father very entertaining.
That apple didn’t fall far from the tree. Good tree to be from too! Y’all sound a lot alike - looked down and your dad said 79 yards is perfect for my lob wedge. Had to look up cause I thought it was you.
I’ve watched this video multiple times. TBH, I often have it on the background when I’m doing other things just to keep some solid vibes around-you know, other than the awesome vibes I put out of course.❤
I’d like to see a Ben/Dad vs Grant/Dad match. For some reason I think that would be a pretty good match up. Their games are pretty similar. And both their Dads are club pros and/or teaching professionals.
Love the way your Dad plays Ben, I am also 54 years old and have a similar theory to your Dad when it comes to playing. You could take a big tip from him by watching how his rhythm muscle memory works with his short game. Having mechanical muscle memory is your full swing is fine, but when it comes to the short game - a reduced version of your full shots when making approaches does not seem to be a natural movement for you... Your Dad looks completely relaxed over the ball and uses nice soft hands to feel the ball on the face of the club when he pitches and plays approach shots.. Your swing is super Ben - you just need to give it the "Ben Natural" touch and relax more which in turn you make you feel each shot more...! Your golf swing is almost perfect - your brain mechanical brain just gets in the way of your natural feel..! just a thought,... we use to own a driving range here in Melbourne for 30 years and I have seen 1000's of golf swings, yours is among the best - .... when you just play and swing free... you need to try and find a mid-point ie: a cross between Garrett's swing and tempo combined with your Dad's natural relaxed tempo and your natural skills...! love it mate.. keep it up...! want to see you win a few tournies..!
Hi Ben, always love watching your videos, but didn’t particularly like your choice of music . Secondly has being a member of good good improved your golf , or don’t you practice as much now?
