We are just expected to be there and be that role model and show that support to our child and that’s how it should be but we are no less important and are just as deserving of the praise and support the single mothers get.

Thank god i got my father. Everything you were saying you didn't learn from your father I learned from mine. You never really think about why other people act how they do until you really think about the main reason and you see it was because their father wasn't around.

Love this song. Relatable. Lol Also, watching this interaction and reaction, from your dad especially, hits different. The whole not knowing how to make your own tie, learning to fight on your own, and overall learning curve of becoming a man that were mentioned.. it’s like we’re brothers. To put it simply. There is a pain behind those words that certain men with that experience can understand. And even though it didn’t show on your father too much in the vid, I know he knows what I’m talking about. Thank you for the video! Really appreciate a reaction that connects.

The song is about the relationship with his dad that's actually his house which he used to further show he made it without him and what he could have been a part of if a situation he never elaborated on with his dad which he says made him never speak to him again and any family members that still affiliated with his dad is cut off as well I think this may be one of the most personal songs hes ever done he said he went back and forth so long on if he should even do a song about it but as he realized music was his therapy he went in

My dad passed when I was 10.. I always thought it was normal for father figures not to be around. None of m close friends have close relationships with there pops. So now having two kids of my own I hold them close because I sent imagine them being a kid like me growing up being lost in this crazy world.
