Pops completely missed the point of what NF was saying, that entire verse went all the way over his head. NF was talking about not feeding his ego, letting it starve and satan sending demons to get Him and Pops was like “NF’s talking about feeding his demons”

He aint feeding those demons, quite the contrary. He said he had to go tell the devil what's up? The devil called him a sinner and said he don't look like a winner. NF said, forget that. As the devil goes after one's self glorification and ego. Nate just says, I don't think so. He won't feed his ego. He lets him starve in the corner!

Different channels offer different perspectives I guess. I feel like NF needs someone listening to lyrics. You gotta know what he’s saying to appreciate it. At least that’s my take. And I’m a metalhead, so you know this isn’t my genre or thing. It I appreciate what NF does.

Just a suggestion. Y'all should watch lyric videos for lyrical rappers. Not dissing it's hard to catch that stuff on the first listen. But like that first verse went way way over y'all's head. Again, not dissing it's hard to get on the first listen but reading the lyrics with it helps a lot
