My dad for a short time built and raced demolition derby cars, he was pretty successful for not having much support. Demo derby was different back then and I enjoyed watching him race as a kid. Hope you enjoy these few pictures that we still have.

Most of those were taken in 78 and 79 and the ones with the two red cars were 80 and 81. I remember because we lived in the gas station in 78 and 79.

Great memories Steve, thanks for sharing. I've done a few demo Derbys. Waisted a nice 75 Montecarlo. Doug had one too. I ran a 73 or 74 Pontiac Catalina in 4 derbys it had a really strong 400
