I love how all your "dark" decks are mostly cute and the one which I actually LOVE you want to get rid of! LOL My dark decks list would be exceedingly longer LOL
I would totally chop off the orange bottoms on The Raven's Prophecy Tarot . It could be used lots of ways to add to a reading - like as a clarify deck.You could also blacken the back of the cards, or use perm marker to clean up the odd orange line (or re-back it entirely). The artwork is really cool and I would try and tweak it some more... ❤️ ~✿~❧~🌿~❧~✿~ ❤️
So agree on the Deviant Moon...flip throughs just didn’t do it justice and I didn’t “get it” until I got it in my hands and actually spent time with each card. Two decks I love in your rehome pile! 🥺😆 I still haven’t worked with the Shadowland yet because it just feels like something I want to save for fall. 😊

I found deviant moon vedy creepy and scary but for some reason I was do drawn to it , watching reviews and so many ppl love it. so I decide to purchase it. Hopefully I will love it too.
I love the zombie tarot! It's such a good deck...In fact I got a backup copy!!! Also got all the others you showed apart from bohemian and dark mansion...way out of my price range! I always look forward to autumn/winter to bring out the dark decks specially round october. I like doing the tarot/oracle challenges on Instagram with them...theres 3 I do. The same ones, and I've been doing em for about 3 or 4 years now...just to play with my dark decks!
I agree...the Heal Yourself Reading cards are a bit "too body-beautiful" for a shadow-work deck...but I like working with this deck, I just don't focus on the artwork too much (although this deck would have a lot more to offer if the art could contribute as well)...The Deviant Moon and the Dark Mansion Tarot are definately great for shadow-work! I have read 3 out of the 4 Raven Cycle books...but I didn't love them as much as I would like to. They are good and I loved the promise of the first book...and the author's writing style...but no, I didn't fall in love :( ...still one book to go though :) The BoGo is one of the decks I never liked...(My bank is grateful for that as well!lol). xx

I bought the Raven’s Prophecy deck after watching one of yours videos. I wanted something with Autumn/Halloween feel and not too creepy. Also have the Healing cards by Inna Segal and they are ok . She has a new deck out Mystical healing reading cards which I connect better with for shadowy work. Love your reading cloth choices!!
Today I received The Zombie Tarot which I ordered because of your review. I am so impressed with it! It may be the least expensive deck in my collection but for under $15.00....wow! The art work, the fantastic box, really nice cardstock....everything about this deck is top drawer. I don't like the Deviant Moon and have never considered buying it. But you may have convinced me to give it a try. I would include Santa Muerte....it's very clever and quirky too. Recently I saw a Halloween themed 22 majors deck called The Orphans. Adorable and cute art work.

I really would like a dark and shadowy deck for the darker part of autumn this year, halloween, samhain and such - but I struggle so hard to find one that I like. Though I think The Night Before Christmas Tarot will be able to fill that void. And potentially Deviant Moon, which I'm not sure how I feel about yet. Hush Tarot might also fill that void, honestly - it's quite dark, but in a most beautiful way.

Wonderul collection Lisa! You're making me reconsider the Zombie tarot. I loved the concept and the execution of the deck but the whole zombie thing felt weird. But now my interest is peaked. I recently got the Deviant Moon deck because it's creepy and reminds me of my childhood nightmares. In a fit of defiance I decided that maybe I needed to challenge myself and purchased it, but I haven't touched it yet. I'll give it a shot before I consider rehoming it. I fell in love with the Shadowland deck, it reads like a dream; I did one of the spreads from the book (about integrating your career and life path) and it was phenomenal. Such a clear reader and the touch of shadow in the cards makes it extra interesting. I also wanted to thank you for introducing me to the Monstarot deck through your videos! I backed the second edition on Kickstarter, and started working with the deck yesterday and immediately fell in love with it. It shot up to top favorite decks status almost immediately. I gotta say, this has been a great year for decks, I met a few that became instant favorites and amazing readers (my other fave from this year is Pagan Otherworlds, that's a soul deck for me for sure. And of course the second edition of my beloved Brady Tarot).
why do you have your beautiful table desks from? they are awesome I like them for my home because it makes the home more flowing.. want to buy some of them

Good job. I trimmed e everything off the edges of the Raven's Prophecy and backed it with tacky paper...the tacky paper is sticky around the edges so that bugs me...but I really love the artwork. I am interested in your BoGo book! I missed it when it came out again...figured she'd have them for a little longer! Lemme know wuzzup. Byeeee.
Serious question, if you know you'll get the Dark Mansion Tarot (and you already have the Deviant Moon Tarot), do you still need the Shadowland Tarot? I thought I really wanted it because it's a creepy cute deck, but I feel the same towards the DMT and I love love love the art style of that one. Thank you anyone who can offer me an opinion :)
In my opinion, no you can wait on Shadowland tarot. It's getting a lot of play here on RU-vid, so we want what we see. Get into Deviant Moon. Enjoy it.

Ugh. I bought the Heal Yourself Reading Cards. I if I had known the artist protrayed black people in the stereotypical "tribal" and then "sexual" persona, I would not have gotten the deck. I am over artists reenforcing stereotypes. Thankfully I haven't opened it so I will either return it or sell it. Great video by the way. I love all the decks you discussed except the Heal Yourself.
