Great condo, like a studio size but really good design being able to close the bedroom off and having the kitchen off to the side. They have really done well with the facilities. I would stay there no problem. Thanks for the vlog, always good from you.

When I rent out my condos the cleaning of the air-cons are done every 6 months, paid by the tenant which is 500 baht, we have 4 units so we get a good price on the cleaning and they do a good job, so much so we get them to our house also. For Plum Condo we rent out @7K so might have to raise our prices.

That place looks incredible! I've just had words with my own dad about my student days and the accomodation HE organised for me. "Where was my tropical infinity pool dad ? How about my luxury co working space, state of the art gym, steam room & sauna and cooking studio? What sort of dad are you? " "I'm 84, leave me alone" he said. "And where was I supposed to find a tropical infinity pool in Glasgow in 1986?" I'm not happy with his answers to be honest, or his complete lack of accountability. I might have to put him in a home I told him - and one without a cooking studio. In all seriousness though James your daughter is very clearly a really lovely person and your relationship with her is obviously fantastic. All credit to you and your missus of course for raising her right. I have no kids of my own but I was back in Scotland this summer and spent a lot of time with my 20 year old neice who is reading Physics at Edinburgh just now and my nephew who is 16 so just doing O levels and they are really great kids. Well not kids any more I guess, but great young adults. I feel like the younger generation oftentimes gets a bad rap from us oldies these days and in my experience at least unfairly so.

FYI....Theyre called glow plugs James. Unlike petrol spark plugs these things need to heat up the combustion chamber to start the engine. I have the same make n model as you and have to replace mine regularly here in Oz, during winter is worst. Im jealous of you n your daughter living the dream in my favorite country. Enjoy.

I worked up the road at Thammasat for a year. The condos outside the university were 14k+. Lovely campus, but a touch too far out of town. Pathum Thani is a bit a a strange place.

Cabernet Sauvignon: There was a time in the USA when I would drink that exclusively, while at university. Great Wine. But now, for Bt.399, I would expect at least a two-liter bottle, and then...OK! I seem to recall that I had a higher disposable income when I was a uni student...

Nice complex with lots of cool amenities. Looks more like a resort than student accommodation. Couldn't help doing the comparison with what is on offer here in Australia which is much more utilitarian than bkk. So the condos are owned by private owners? Looks like tertiary education has spawned an industry around it for accommodation and investors as well.

Was working on the 35th floor of a condo in Vancouver yesterday . This place of your daughters was much nicer about the same sq meter … vancouver $4000 a month .

What is that white and black thing on the table, plugged in. Is that some sort of projector? 16:38 (That is quite an amazing setup for a college student, or anybody. Fairly large refrigerator, microwave, Bertolli Extra Virgin Olive Oil, a rice cooker, and..... Something called a SMARTHOME, in black, but I don't know what that is either.). It seems to be the case that, for a given amount of money, BKK seems to offer higher quality and better living in places like this.

250USD is still a bargain IMHO. Especially seen the kitted bum canon. That complex has a ~ resort vibe to it :-) Out here, dorm prices are going through the roof and you get nowhere near the amenities.
