I think your parents have a really great balance between soft and strong. They’re firm, but they are loving and validating.

Trying to figure out your style and aesthetic is one of the hardest, yet amazing parts of growing up. Its hard not feeling like anything you wear feels like "you", but as you grow up you will have so many different styles, and within each style it will almost resemble a different version of yourself. I feel like in Nazs case, when looking for clothes shes mainly looking for things which are the current fashionable trend, which dont get me wrong that is completely normal and valid. But for the majority of people, a popular style isnt ever going to help you feel truly yourself. Sockie for example, she wears what she wants regardless of what everyone else is wearing, and she totally rocks it and it expresses who she is as a person.

What I can say is Naz you’re at a time in life that you’re finding yourself. Don’t stop trying out different styles. You may never latch onto one single aesthetic, you might want to decide what aesthetic you wear by the day. That’s good fun. You don’t have to box yourself in. You can reinvent yourself daily. Be adventurous and daring with clothing. It’s meant to be fun and show your personality. We don’t often think one way all the time, why says your aesthetic has to be a single look without thinking and looking outside the box ever. Keep them guessing. And don’t forget to have fun!!

As someone the same age as Naz I completely understand why Brooke doesn’t let Naz wear makeup. Makeup is a hard topic because it teaches you that makeup boosts your self esteem, I think if Naz wants to wear more makeup she has to talk with Brooke and Brooke can teach her about the whole topic altogether. I am allowed to wear makeup and I do have (short) acrylic nails, but I am not allowed to wear crop tops that are super small which is fair because I’m still young and their are creeps out there, be careful Naz and respect Brooke’s rules! No hate!! ❤❤

Hi Naz I was struggling with clothes sizing too (aka too big for kids too small for adults) until I discovered H&M divided it’s developed for tweens/teenagers and I personally love it the styles are really nice and it’s mostly age appropriate too ! naz would suit the bella swan/elena gilbert style SO WELL. the purple button up is exactly that style and it looked so nice on her and accentuates her figure so nicely !! also, try like flared jeans or something other than skinny jeans. it adds like dimension or something to the outfit. like for example: if you’re wearing a fitted top, wear flared or wide legged bottoms and if you have a loose top, wear tighter pants. i always find this elevates what i’m wearing but obviously loose on loose is cute, i’m just not a fan of tight on tight

naz, one thing i consider for y2k is flared pants/jeans! flared leggings or jeans these add a pop to any of your outfits and they match with anything, and adding hoop earrings or sunglasses also gives little bit of style to your outfit.
