It took me 3 times and 5 weeks to finish watching this video. I lost my 3rd baby to complications during early pregnancy. No matter how much time passes or how many children one gets blessed with the pain of loss is the same. May God bless everyone with the strength to wait for their bliss.

I appreciate your transparency and vulnerability. It's a reminder that everyone is struggling or have struggled with something. Your daughter's room is my favorite room in your home so far. It's sophisticated and beautiful but appropriate for a child.

Did you felt my hug? I just grabed my phone and squeezed it to my chest and cry with you. Because that was me 30 years ago. Children are so much more loved. This is the kind of love that could conquer everything. I do believe that one Good Day we would all be together.

Your a very strong lady, i lost my 2 first pregnancies 15 weeks and 24 weeks then had 3 amazing children later over the 10 years after i went through menopause at 21 years old after thyroid problems and pcos and endometriosis and thyroids thankyou for shearing your story heartfelt sympathy for the babies you didnt get to hold in your arms but in heart forever xx

If a child has difficulty settling to sleep, it’s usually due to them being stimulated by toys, electrical devises or even a television. A soft toy to cuddle (not smothering the bed) and a special bedtime story book is fine. Sophie, you’ve done the right thing by having the bedroom for sleeping and a separate play room.

Sophie, I am weeping. Your channel and this video came up on my page and now I have subscribed. My wife and I have been going through fertility for years and have experienced losses. When you said your life was on hold for years this completely resonated with me. IVF and fertility struggles are such tough things to go through and I am happy to hear you talk candidly about this. I was having a very hard day after seeing some pregnancy announcements while my wife is in the TWW from a transfer Wednesday after a loss of our twins and the sudden passing of her father. Life can be very unfair, but this video restored some hope for me again. Thank you.

Thank you for sharing a story of your life. I perfectly understand the feeling as my husband and I went through the same ordeal but unfortunately our story does not have a happy ending. We do not have children but we learned to accept and live with that. But I remember clearly there were a couple of years after we stopped trying, that I could not stand to see a women with a baby. Not because I was not happy for her but because it was so painful and with the overwhelming feeling of sadness. Fortunately after so many years I am at peace with all that and can honestly say I am happy for you and your beautiful family. Love your work style and your beautiful home and above all your elegant yet sensible demeanor.

I just watched your video and it brought back all my own memories of exactly what you went through. I had 4 miscarriages before my son was born and one when he was 2 years old and every time I went for my scan, seeing a heartbeat, and then at 12 weeks just confirmation of the worst news ever. My son is now 17 years old and is the greatest gift ever. I was part of the St Mary's Hospital recurrent miscarriage programme and volunteered for this service to offer my help to others going through this terrible experience which it seems is all too common. I love all of your videos, please keep them coming!!

Thank you for sharing your struggles. Life is hard. Being a mother is the best thing that has happened to me. When I have moments of doubt, I can always get my confidence back by thinking about the strength I developed from being a mother. I had a feeling from watching your previous videos, but now I know for certain, you are a top notch person, Sophie. You deserve nothing but the best.

Ava's Princess Bedroom is just such a delight, the soft neutral pallet and soft pale pink tones will easily see her thru to those teenage years. I want to sleep in a princess bed like that. Your clever blind trick doing the three layers with the final blackout shade set behind in it's own track is such a brilliant idea which I will implement going forward. So saddened to hear we shared the same infertility journey. Mr. SN and I after 11 years finally had success with IVF to only have a one and a trillion chance having a cervical pregnancy. Doctors had never heard of it and worst of all was life threatening and little hope of saving fertility. Only one woman and child had ever survived. My doctor worked tirelessly for answers but only to be advised their was no way to save baby & I. We had to terminate just before the 5th month. I had been in hospital for 4 months. Such a stressful time. Luckily with much thought they came up with some solutions to terminate and hopefully save me and my fertility. Unlikely the baby could ever go to term as not developing properly and constantly miscarriage was threatening the situation all along. Came out the other side 100% with fertility in tact. Well as scary as that all was I went right back in after 6 months tried again and then again with a successful outcome. There would be 5 years in between trying various other things and decided on IVF as it had worked although expensive. Had success right out of the first cycle and had our second.. Our first Taylor was born in Calgary, Alberta and 5 years almost to the day my Alexander was born in Aberdeen where my husband's family is from. Taylor is the last name of hub's Great Grandmother and Alex is named after my husbands great grandfather from Losseymouth. A day does not go by I am not grateful for my children who are much loved and very cherished. Ironically in Aberdeen at baby class I met a Mum having her second just like me with 5 years in between to the very day at the same hospital back in Calgary, Canada. We both had same due dates again with our second. What are odds of that happening. I tell people the same, don't give up, it can be quite a journey and they can do so much today. Don't be regretful at 70 saying I should have kept trying as there are so many ways today one can create a family. I say turn over all the rocks till there are no more rocks. Whatever the situation is in life, you will usually find your solution under one of those rocks. Sharing your story is going to help so many people . My kids are older now but I still have boxes of precious baby clothes and all their childhood books. I read to them every night into their teens. Taylor at Christmas still liked to come in to read our Christmas Collection which is extra special. I may have another big move soon back to Dubai or hoping back to Scotland . Hoping not to have to purge them. Alex said the other day, not our books Mum and especially not the Christmas ones. Guess it is not just me.😘

I have had my first loss in January, and like you, i also felt like the world was falling from beneath my feet. I’ve had two more loses after the first one, yet I have this inexplicable urge to keep on trying, even if a part of me dies with every loss. My husband and i have recently bought a house and the thought that one of the rooms will one day be my child’s bedroom, is what keeps me going at the moment.

I think it's very touching that you've shared your fertility problems. To be honest, I did think that you had a "perfect" life, just because of your house and clothes. I’ve recently discovered that I have a congenital defect that would make it almost impossible to carry a baby to term. There are other life-threading issues as well for me. It’s being an incredibly painful process, but God’s grace has been my saving grace. I have one son, my miracle baby I had when I was quite young. He was born very prematurely but he is nearly a 27 year-old man. I consider myself blessed that God gave me the opportunity to be a mommy! I haven’t finished watching the video.
