First things FIRST, the scene opens with JD in the Crystal Perfume bottle instead of Floyd. I first stumbled upon this UA on my Instagram by

And I very much loved the angst! This is just a sweet little animatic cause I loved the trolls movie. Trolls Band Together was AMAZING!
So I guess how I'm playing this story out is that, in linear order, John Dory is inside of the perfume bottle and starts singing about his past and reminiscing on his brothers. We get a glimpse into him writing a song then running to his brothers and then we pan to him and his brothers on stag, the night that Brozone split. John Dory gets tangled up on some Vines and then he falls onto the floor, gets angry, has the fight with his brothers. Then John Dory takes his grappling hook and he shoots himself out the window.
When John Dory is outside of the pod, he looks back at his family thinking if this is the right choice or not. He finds Floyd hugging Branch and in a state of misunderstanding, he thinks that they're celebrating that he left and so, with his pride intact, he leaves.
Next is John Dory finding the troll tree empty as he comes back to visit like he once told Branch in the movie. He finds the stage that he and his brothers were performing on and slowly but surely he starts turning gray as he begins to think that his entire family is dead.
Then we flash back again to right after the moment that John Dory fell as he's picking himself up and taking the vines off of him. If John Dory could take all of his words back, he would walk up to baby branch and give him a big hug and apologize like he saw Floyd do in the pod. We go back to a gray John Dory in a diamond perfume bottle as he's singing about his feelings and then it goes back to him and his brothers lining up on the stage about to continue their performance.
