@@dream_dragons1614 He's the title character from the horror visual novel, Something's Wrong With Sunny Day Jack, by JambeeBot. You can actually find two play-throughs of the game on this very channel. The game has had a major update recently, but at the developers' request, there's no play-through footage of the new version. It's currently available for Windows, but they're in the process of exporting it to Mac, which is good because that's the only type of computer I have access to, lol. Jack is sweet and charming, but of course, he's also a yandere. I would definitely recommend checking it out!

That's totally normal to say to someone if you're thanking them, but Y/N probably recognized it as flirting 1. because of the 'Doe-Eyes' nickname Alan gave them earlier (it comes across as flirtatious in this case because they first met and the nickname itself is a very flattering compliment that shows he thinks Y/N is cute) 2. Alan (like Y/N) was acting kind of sheepish and could have ended the conversation with a simple 'thank-you' (which is what you would do if you actually feel sheepish and want to end the conversation), but instead chose to bring back up what Y/N did by complimenting them. By doing that, he low-key continued the conversation without bringing something else up, which will give Y/N a chance to continue to banter with Alan and continue the conversation naturally. And with this, he also subtly compliments Y/N and shows what he thinks of them by using 'sweet', which, depending on the situation, can have a connotation linked to sincerity, playfulness, or flirtatiousness (I guess, but this is kinda a streeeetch) Though, this alone usually isn't enough to say, 'oh, they're flirting with me'. It was probably the tone Alan spoke in or the expression on his face that clued Y/N in (not that we would know, since these details aren't expressed).
