I was playing a sludge discard in standard. Good start, oppo plays ETC on turn 4. Yes, he steamcleaned my deck to take 33 face dmg on turn 6.

id like if these "do x when discarded/destroyed" effects were to be keyworded like soul barrage could be "deal 6 damage randomly split among enemies. *afterlife:* do the same.`

I really enjoy your duels content. Do you have any tips for someone who wants to have a look into it? Decks which are pretty low on dust, how many wins I should aim for etc?

I would recommend you playing it for a while in a free mode to understand how the gamemode works, while also hero powers and tresures in the process (yes, they unlcok for both free and paid runs). Once you feel comfortable, you can try going into the paid ones. Regarding the decks. The "meta" in duels is hard to figure out at times, and as I recall, there aren't any sites that would separate decks by tiers. So, play a bunch of times, find the deck archetypes and make it yourself. But also don't go full ham on copying the deck completely to save some dust. Stuff can get nerfed/buffed exclusively for this mode, so if you're crafting anything, make sure it's relevant in Standart/Wild

There are some heroes that arent expensive. My first 12 win heroic run was from lillian where I just went full aggro with the minions that make concoctions, tempo value minions and combo spells like cold blood that help push for game. If I recall correctly there were no legendaries in that deck and the only epic was prep but its in the core set so you get it for free

Hey Roffle there is a deck idea i had but cant quite pull it off. It includes the elek and the new battlecry minon that shuffles all cards into your deck which would give u extra copies of the cards. Would be cool to see u make a deck that could work? Maybe in duals!?

I rly like your duels content! In fact i like it so much, that i even write a comment for the algorythm even tho i usally don't write comments/ are too lazy or simply forget it. Cmon man at least point out what the lethal is! (for those who didn't see it, sludge on wheels into the ignis gives you a third sludge, letting you use one to kill ignis and the other 2 for 8 face damage)

Steamcleaner destroys all created cards in both player's decks, and this DOES produce a large amount of burst damage if you have a bunch of Toxic Sludge in your deck, but the card buckets you are offered between games in Duels are determined by the sets of the cards you have in your deck and Steamcleaner is from a set not in this deck, and would thus cause the deck to be offered worse cards on average.
