Hey guys! Welcome back to my channel. Today's video is going to be all about my hiking trip to Mount Kenya Castle Forest and Kamweti Falls. I'm so excited to share this adventure with you all.
Let me start by saying that the journey to Mount Kenya Castle Forest was thrilling to say the least. With the majestic mountain standing tall in the distance, we could hardly contain our excitement as we approached the entrance to the forest. The air was crisp and cool, and the sound of birds singing in the trees was like music to our ears.
As we began our ascent, we found ourselves surrounded by dense vegetation, towering trees, and the fragrance of wildflowers. The trail was steep, yet manageable and we encountered a few slippery spots along the way, but nothing that deterred us from continuing on our adventure. The trail was well-maintained, and we saw a few other hikers along the way.
Reaching the top of the forest was an incredible feeling. The panoramic views were breathtaking, and we felt a sense of accomplishment for making it to the top. The castle forest was truly magical, with its winding paths and historic ruins that date back to the colonial era.
The next stop on our itinerary was Kamweti Falls. This was an enchanting destination nestled in a serene, remote wilderness. The trail was rocky, which created an adrenaline rush, and we had to navigate our way across a few water crossings. But the trek was well worth it once we laid our eyes on the falls.
The cascading water was awe-inspiring to watch as it tumbled down the rocky terrain, creating a beautiful mist that enveloped us. We took a dip in the cool pool at the bottom of the falls, which was refreshing and invigorating after our long hike.
As we made our way back to our starting point, the sun began to set, casting beautiful shadows across the forest. We were surrounded by the sounds of nature, which included chirping crickets and rustling leaves.
