The priority of violent crimes, etc. far supercede and of urgency over a vandalized campground. I hope you take safety measures for yourself even more so than ever. Watch your six. yep... these events don't usually end happily... if i was the cop that she has contact with then i'd advise her to change up a lot of her routines (but it'd be unofficial advice) ... right now, all she has is someone took her photo, relieved themselves in the woods, and dismantled a temporary shelter in the woods and she doesn't have the property rights to any of it... as it is right now, the property owner is more the victim than she is.... used to see this type of stuff a lot in my 30+ year career... this is the problem that happen in all the homeless camps, lots of emotions, mental health and no constraints ...

I had a neighbor falsify charges accusing me of burglary because she was nuts. How do you prove you didn't do something? The judge gave us a mutual "do not contact" order but not before I lost my professional licensing due to the charges. Bad people destroy good people. They enjoy the trouble and bad feelings they cause. Whomever did this ENJOYED seeing her find the note on here and freaking out. I 100% guarantee it. My crazy neighbor ENJOYED the drama she caused.
Hi Vanessa, here's a good strategy to catch him. Pick a location in the woods you are going to go. Have a couple of friends dropped off there by someone else. Have them be woods with cameras near the road where they can't be seen. You go there a half hour later, walk into the woods and have them stay hidden by the road. If someone shows up a half hour later, you got them. This is used by private investigators and it works. They won't know they're being set up to be caught. Try it.

Look into perimeter alarms that you can set up around your camp at night if you don’t already have some. It’s something I use here in the states when I’m sleeping in a place with predators( be them human or otherwise) . Hopefully you have a trail camera hidden somewhere so if this person comes back you can catch them. Keep your head up and don’t let anybody keep you from doing what makes you happy. Best wishes.
Good suggestion! Trail cams that you can access with your cell phone is an idea. A woman friend was being harassed by a country neighbor, I suggested the same for her. She compiled photos of him trespassing multiple times on her property! The local sheriff then got involved! It does work!
The wildlife camera will indeed be of great value if they return. But I think having a very loud perimeter alarm will have more protective value, especially on nights when she stays in a camp. There are these shotgun shell trip wires that will most definitely would scare them away. Of course, she should not talk on the channel about any measures she takes, because obviously the creep will be watching it.
And the guy strolls in, or someone else does trying to see what is going on, and she shoots them? What would be next when the alarm goes off if they are not scared away? That is half a plan.....You can have all the cameras and alarms you want but someone in a hoodie can steal your stuff out of your house when you are still away.

I commented on the last video: I would look at one of the people who you had a problem with in the past, they would seem like the most likely first suspects. Second, if it's that expensive to pursue legally, you should ask the many people who are following for help with the costs. I'm sure that you would be overwhelmed with support. I really hope that you can find out who is doing this to your camp, I would definitely set up some trail cams to catch them, then you could bring that to the police, this is interfering in your channel which is a business so it is a crime and sad that people can't be happy for you but be jealous of what you have accomplished, lots of love and support

Hey... I too like being alone in the wilds, with only my doggy for companion. Never apologize for protecting yourself, to anyone, especially yourself. I am rather old and banged up now, and don't out very often, but 30-40 years ago I was tougher than a boot, strong as an ox, and mean as a pissed-on snake. 110 kg, 1.85m tall, kenpo instructor, and jujitsu judo student...and i NEVER went anywhere unarmed, especially the woods. Call me paranoid, but that is only because they ARE out to get you...keep on with the good work, fight the good fight, and spread love hope and beauty. This is a hard one Vanessa. Be cautious. Post trail cameras and keep warning devices out if you camp. I know you like to camp alone but for your safety you might need to bring someone along sometimes. Write every incident down so you don’t miss any details. Good luck.

It takes a long time to feel safe again, but what i do is three breaths Breath (and feel) ... say out loud "I am safe" Breath (and feel) ... say out loud "I am love" Breath (and feel) ... say out loud "I am at peace" This has helped me through the rough times, the panic attacks and nightmares. I feel your pain. Every time I've gone to my local county park I've been harassed by some creepy guy. The cops do nothing. Their attitude is "be a good little girl and stay inside your house". It's a world wide issue for women and it needs to stop.

Texas here. Have you seen the shotgun shell perimeter trip wires? I use them when i to camping. They're non-lethal cuz they point at the ground by a tree. Vanessa, 2 things come to my mind. 1. This mental turmoil you have is exactly what this perpetrator is trying to do to you and it gives him a buzz. 2. Have you thought about engaging a private detective (like divorcees use). They have methods to sniff out the perp from the details you have. One way is to get the perps stool analysed for his DNA to narrow down the culprit.
I have to admit I am not a consistent follower of you channel but I do enjoy it when I do watch it. What happen to you is not right and it is frustrating to you I am sure. Bear in mind this person may not even be a guy... It could even be a girl who is jealous of you. I am not sure if that even helps but at least something to think about. Thanks again for being real with us. This is why we watch your videos and not the scripted sh*t on tv. You have a whole army of supporters here and I'm sure I'm not the only one who is feeling frustrated that an answer to this situation isn't easy to find. What ever you do, just be safe and thoughtful. Maybe you'll have to find a camping partner who will go camping with you but not too close, even if they camp 50m away but close enough if you need help (you know what I mean...) just for a few camps until you feel safe again.
If you could work out where the trail cam is located that took that photo, you should know that it might have the persons contact data on it ... and it probably has pictures of the person on the SD card inside it. It might still be there, waiting to capture pictures of you again.
Sorry for your problem, maybe a good idea to check your car thoroughly for any kind of tracking device, like an apple air tag. You have a lovely dog who will alert and protect you if needed. As they say a “ A man’s best friend “ or women’s.
My wife has me carry more than one knife. We change what we do and change lights. Our dog hates strangers! Very vicious if my wife reacts with emotion. Body cameras and tree cameras may help. Stay strong and stay happy dear lady!
You may want to consider trail cameras covertly located around your camp. Perhaps being proactive to identify the perpetrator might convince him, or her, to stop. Best wishes.
They steal them. If they are concealed well then you likely got an image but can't identify the person. It gets expensive and time consuming to keep them all active, I have more than 30 of them.
Work with the authorities, report the incidents and build that pattern of occurrences. Continue to be vigilant about your surroundings. This is a predator, much like a wolf or a bear, however they are contained in the woods; this one travels wherever they need to. Hi Vanessa, it's good to see you are still in the game, it means that there are one or more shitweasels out there who didn't win! Words in English that might describe how you are feeling when out in the forest could be jumpy or nervous, however a better way of looking at it is that when you are out there you are switched on. A good way of looking at this is you now look at this with a slightly military view, adding stealth techniques to your battery of skills (which would be interesting for us to see as well) adding camo netting to camps when you are in residence etc. Another idea that may be some help is to add a second dog to your team. I have a very large Mali X (Malinois German shepherd cross) 52 kilos of pure muscle and a delight to have as a friend and an outstanding dog to watch your back(just a thought for a possible breed, as well as something positive to do about the problem). Very few people will tangle with a pair of well trained dogs and 3 pairs of eyes and senses will serve you better than most stalkers can counter. Stealth bushcrafting is simply a widening of your skill-set, and you have many people out there from many countries who enjoy your videos and their good will and prayers are with you. Cellular trail cameras can allow you to view your camp remotely. Possibly make another video stating you want to review trail cameras and get sponsors to donate them to you. Price is reasonable even if they don't.
Don't stop doing what you love, but I would suggest that for a short time, don't make permanent campsites. Get a really good backpacking tent like a stove hut, and you can still bushcraft everything else. And when you leave, you can dismantle the camp. After all, building is the fun and informative part 😊👍. Also, get yourself a can of bear spray. It works great on assholes too 😁.
You might want to check out game cameras, you could hide it on your trails and at your campsite and maybe you can catch the sorry person that would do such a thing. Be safe and always check your surroundings. God bless you from North Carolina.

I know you are already stressed but…. Your camp being destroyed could possibly be just the beginning of something. You should get some motion sensors with lights and sirens for your camp. Dogs are priceless.

As for your dog you need to train your dog to ONLY eat things that YOU feed to it you can use hand signals to tell your dog it's okay if you know who maybe giving it a treat. Training is so that it doesn't get poisoned. N Joy little one

I had a stalker years ago. I can tell you, that you have done nothing wrong. What runs in a stalkers mind is so different from normal people that it is crazy. You have to keep it clear in your mind, you have done nothing wrong.
