We all have those rooms and garage or shed that is a catch all ! We are only human and life can get busy and we get behind on things ! Don’t be hard on yourself ! You are doing a great job !
Try not to feel too badly, even though I know you're not happy at all about the situation. Our garage is filled with stuff too including a small fishing boat which takes up about half the garage so that doesn't help lol. I can't say much though because all the stuff is things my husband has put out there. He had previously moved some boxes up to the attic, and now his knee is bothering him so much (until he gets to the doctor to get shots in it) that he can't climb up there right now to get them down for me to go through. We've been "very slowly unfortunately", trying to go through things in the house and do sort of swedish death cleaning so that my 2 daughters won't be left with the stuff in the closets and elsewhere if something should happen to us. It's going very slowly though sad to say. 😒 If we don't get it all done, oh well, but we're gonna try though. I hope you'll be able to get all of yours taken care of too, and you've made a great start! ❤ You are right that it just takes time as we get older...we've noticed that as well. Things aren't like they were when we were younger for sure.
HONEY ALL OF US HAVE THIS PROBLEM I DON,T CARE WHO YOU ARE. WHEN YOUR OLDER ESPECIALLY WITH ADULT KIDS THEY ALL MOVE IN AND OUT AND LEAVE THERE MESSES. AND WE DO NOT HAVE THE STRENGTH TO CLEAN IT UP!!
Very true. There are some things in this garage that belong to each of my 3 kids. Recently, I have had to tell my grown kids to donate to the charity store of their choice instead of bringing it to my home.
