Way to stick with it and grab a spot on the podium! I totally get the frustration. The penalty system is all over the place. You can get bounced around T1 like a ping pong ball and no one gets a penalty, then someone tbones you, boom 4 seconds.
O man that is rough, 4 seconds for being hit by someone who was off track, the penalty system needs looking at, at spa in general because like you, I find it quite off. Also anyone of track should be automatically ghosted until they re join and in a safe space. You know I mentioned it countless times about ghosting and how it is just terrible. It would reduce so many inconsistent or incorrect penalties man. All the best bud
You’re a great pixel car racer. Can’t get so upset over the pixel spreadsheet due to the poor penalty calculator. You always know where you fairly finish. Keep up the good videos!
It was a pleasure racing with you. It was my first time using the Porsche GT3 at spa. The penalties are just unbelievable, but otherwise the battles for podium were fun. GGs and it was a pleasure
I'm surprised that penalties like this don't happen to you more often. This happens to me all the time and I start to make a couple of clips and upload them to RU-vid and the Forza forum. There is a thread on the topic with hundreds of examples. Nothing has happened from Turn10 so far and I doubt that they will ever solve it well. Adding time at the end of the race is a stupid idea anyway. It doesn't do anything for the victim.
So the spot where the porche re joined is definitely somthing to tweak, he was way off track and tried to rejoin with incoming traffic. All in all, i am seeing progress from launch and 3 months straight in.
Gotta love the Forza penalty system :D I know everyone has their preferred cars but maybe you could showcase some that you don't typically use? Perhaps the R8 or the #62 Ferrari?

Shake it off. It happens to the best of us. Sometimes you race flawless, sometimes it's just your turn for a bunk penalty. In retrospect, you would have made podium regardless. Good run.
Considering 17th start and dumb penalty 3th is not bad, but it could have neem much more.. I understand why this was anti climax race. Good job staying cool, calm and collective in the mist of al this bud👍✌
I totally understand you, penalty system is a joke since the last update, its even worse then before. I keep getting 2.25sec and 4sec penalties like this as-well. Some of them are in my videos.

Great racing otherwise. If it helps, I raced SPA this morning and had a terrible race. I hate that track. I ended up with 7 seconds in penalties all from violating track limits. It wasn't pretty.
No, thanks. I'm not going to change what I like doing. If you don't like watching 3rd person racing, you don't have to. Might I suggest you drop a sub to Grimm Legion Gaming, ACR BOX, Kuroshine, Sunshine3792 or any of the many other Forza players that don't race in 3rd person. Take it easy 😎
Once again that slow 4 lap was a killer and being stuck in the middle of a bunch of bozos cost you even more time. Make the short stint you first stint
You’re always wrong because you always use the SAME strategy. Long stint first, short stint second, and of course you’re in traffic while doing it, slowing you down even more. Short first stint, long second stint.
@@dionbarnes3489 Well, both times I've tried your strategy I've come out in even more traffic and get slowed down even more. So I disagree with doing the short stint first so far. I just tried it at Spa after qualifying on pole and wound up in 2nd because of a horrible amount of traffic, since literally the rest of the field was on their slow 4th lap on mediums while I'm on my first lap with a fresh set of mediums. It has only ever led to more traffic in my experience and only costs me more time in the end.
If you mean the C8, then yeah, I know it's way faster lol The point was to pick something off-meta and to keep the car choices fresh. If I run C8, Viper, NSX all the time, that would get boring to watch
