Lady and the Tramp and The Little Mermaid actually had VHS releases under the platinum edition series in the US but they’re Disney Movie Club exclusives
Even though I've been mostly a Blu-ray collector for many years now, I've always kept my Disney Platinum Edition DVDs in pristine condition. These are all from back when companies went the extra mile and made beautiful editions. I will never sell mine either 🙂🙃
7:07 Great Scott. It's Disney's The Lion King My All Time Favourite Walt Disney Pictures Animated Family Musical Blockbuster Movie. Thanks SuperJackster01 Mate. X
Peter Pan was the last platinum edition DVD to have restoration credits at the end. The first one to not have restoration credits was The Jungle Book. I also have the diamond edition blu-ray of Peter Pan. The blu-ray plays real bad right now, but the DVD works good, I got the DVD buffered at GameXhange.
I have most of these as Walt Disney Signature Collection prints. But I have a few as platinum editions and other prints. I don’t have Bambi and Peter Pan yet but I plan to get the Walt Disney Signature Collection DVD’s of those sometime.
Would you ever have a reshowing of your Disney Black Diamond and/or Masterpiece VHS collection? I found your channel through those videos and enjoyed them. Thanks either way.
It’s kinda nice to look at something that you haven’t seen in a while. During the pandemic, I revisit some of the Disney and Pixar films I haven’t seen in a while.
The Disney Platinum Edition DVDs that I have got are Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Lion King, Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, The Jungle Book and 101 Dalmatians
Great video. I don’t know if you’re a part of Disney Movie Club, but they release the 85th anniversary of Snow White. They also did the same thing a few months ago with beauty and the beast. It was the 30th anniversary. That one I feel was just a Cash grab though. There’s no new previews or anything, it’s literally the same thing as the signature edition. At least with the 85th anniversary of Snow White you get an extra Blu-ray Disc. And it comes in a nicer case.
The Platinum Edition movies I had was: Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs (2001 DVD) Beauty And The Beast (2002 VHS & DVD) The Lion King (2003 DVD) Aladdin (2004 DVD) The Little Mermaid (2006 DVD) And Pinocchio (2009 Blu-Ray) I still need to get the rest of the Platinum Edition movies are (Bambi, Cinderella, Lady and the Tramp, Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, 101 Dalmatians, and Sleeping Beauty).
Snow Wihte and The Seven Dwarfs: October 9th 2001 Beauty and The Beast: October 8th 2002 The Lion King: October 7th 2003 Aladdin: October 5th 2004 Bambi: March 1st 2005 Cinderella: October 4th 2005 Lady and The Tramp: February 28th 2006 The Little Mermaid: October 3rd 2006 Peter Pan: March 6th 2007 The Jungle Book: October 2nd 2007 101 Dalmatians: March 4th 2008 Sleeping Beauty: October 7th 2008 Pinocchio: March 10th 2009
I Have The Platinum Edition DVDs of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Beauty and The Beast, The Lion King, Aladdin, Bambi, Cinderella, Lady and The Tramp, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, The Jungle Book, Sleeping Beauty and Pinocchio, I Hope to Get The Platinum Edition DVD of 101 Dalmatians Soon.
@@superjackster0165 I understand, it is such an awesome movie, where that film has one of my favorite Disney songs, I2I. Now, here's another Disney question, which Disney films do you think should have been nominated for Best Picture at the Oscars? Beauty and the Beast is excluded because that movie did a get a nomination in that category.
BreezyAubsstation87 did a play through of Jeopardy for the NES and one of the categories involved Peter Pan. He used to say the name like that all the time. So I said that as a reference because I always found it so funny
