Today I want to show you how I help my students to improve their equipment configuration and individual skills, using this phone housing!
I use the Divevolk SeaTouch 4 Max mostly during the confined water training for the sidemount course.
The feedback from my divers is very positive and Filming them while hovering or swimming in confined waters doesn't compromise my ability to supervise them!
I don't like to film complex drills, such as valve shutdown and gas sharing. I don't want the camera to distract me, while my student is performing a potentially dangerous task... not even at two meters from the surface!
Other apps on my phone turned out to be extremely useful underwater, such as the notebook and the whiteboard. As you can see in the video, I can use them to explain something too complex for hand signals, and I don't waste pages on my wetnote!
Using the phone underwater is not just a very fun and precise way to communicate, but also saves us a lot of time!
