Here's a dog's eye view of Edison walking to the store, and he ate a full container of food afterwards! It was a good day and I am very thankful. Eddie and I thank everyone for all of the support, it truly helps. -wf (06 29 15)
I Love this !. Have only two regrets after being blessed with the 17 year friendship of my RT,Molly , a beautiful tri color with a ying yang facial marking.Always "putting off till another day" making videos of our walks and road trips ,and not taking her to the very ,accessible sea coast.
Ahhh, we had four JR. All passed away lived long long lives except for Charlie. We think he might have blown an artery playing. He was in bed with me. I went to find him because he usually was bouncing around and I yelled for him to wake up!! He was died. I called my husband a doc. I was really angry with the vet who did not want to do a necropsy(it was the day before xmas) but my husband could feel he had bled out in his belly. I cried my eyes out. To find your dog dead in bed.........horrible.
I own a terrier...called a Smooth Fox when bought...after he grew he resembles a Toy Fox but is too large! He looks a lot like Eddie....but he doesn't have much tail. They Are Great dogs..I'm not a breeder or dog show person so any interest there is academic. He's my bud!
Not sure any breed enjoys walks as much as Rat Terriers. I've got a ratty/chi. I noticed Eddie's extra sneezing and extra attention from children. 2015? Let me see if I can find an update on Edward.
This is why I avoid walking my doggy near the preschool. Child: Can I pet ur dog? Me: No, you can't pet my dog... Shes on the other side of the fence, and I'm not gonna wait for you to come ova here. ಠ_ಠ
Unless your dog is a task trained service dog needed because of a disability you SHOULD NOT be taking it into non-pet friendly establishments. You can put the lives of service dog handlers at risk if your dog distracts a service dog. You also make public access harder for people with legitimate service animals.
Relax if the store owner know him or doesn't mind it does not matter. Also a true service dog should never become distracted. If they do the trainer should be contacted.
