Oh hells no. Coyotes are not like dogs at all. A dog will stay in a juvenile state their whole life. But a coyote will not. They will turn on you with no warning.
@@curtrapp5291but coyotes are just wild dogs. Raise one from a pup and it will behave like any other dog. Vise versa a dog born and raised from strays will be aggressive towards people as it hadn't been socialized to not fear humans.

If anyone thinks this guy is in real danger of being attacked by weave, she literally lets him pet her. A wild coyote that didn't trust him would never allow that, and since she trusts him the most she'll do is playfully bite him and worst case scenario it barely breaks skin. Weave just wants to let everyone know she is the danger.
I don't know who this man outside of these snippets of his life that he chooses to present to the world. We don't know how many takes he had to film before he got these "good takes" that he deems satisfactory. I am meant to find his life with a Coyote wholesome, impressive, and unique. And yes, it's quite effective because I do. but if something were to go wrong or has went wrong before, I wouldn't be surprised either.
She really is a beautiful coyote. She's somewhat domesticated but still wild, and that's her beauty. They love their human so much. What a wonderful life.
The word you’re looking for is ‘tamed.’ Something can be tamed and it will interact with humans fine, in order for something to be considered domesticated though it has to be selectively bred (or engineered I guess) to be more well suited to life with humans. Wolves can be tamed but even if they’re tamed training them is very hard, probably impossible for the average person. Dogs on the other hand have been domesticated to be easily trained, to the point where anyone with food can train most dogs with at least some success.

Im quite surprised she accepts to be in a house. I saw a documentary about tamed wolves kept by humans like pets. They wouldn’t even accept to be in a closed room, biting through doors and smashing windows to get out. A dog can read human facial expressions and human signs (if I put food in two boxes and stare at one box the dog will after a while understand where the food is - a tamed wild animal like a wolf won’t )

I absolutely love how she goes from sweet mode to kill mode and back to being sweet over and over again like there's a switch being turned on and off in her brain lol. She's absolutely precious! Never knew a coyote could be a pet, even if raised by hand and spayed/neutered at a younger age. She acts like a dog with a lil bit of wolf that pops out every now and again 😂
@@MissRandomCommentit's similar forsure. Cats are not "truly domestic" in the same way as dogs or say farm animals. It's one of the reasons they can survive on their own after being raised in captivity. Other animals have a much more difficult time with that. They're so cool. And cute. Peace.
its legit the same thing we did to wolves for a thousand years,. coupple hundred years of this and coyotes willl be a household animal. Theres deomesticated dogs that are more wild then this, its evolution and adaption
5 years ago, before I got my Shimmy Girl, I would have thought the nose wrinkle was a sign of aggression. However, she does this when she wants something but doesn't have the confidence to do it. Like being petted or jumping in a lap. I have to tell people she's not aggressive, she's just confused. It's so adorable to me now
Yup! My lil shihtzu does EXACTLY the same thing. My other likes his bum scratches (lower back) and does this dead pervy looking head tilted back thing 😂
She really is a very tame coyote tbh I don't see her as aggressive just playful and just uses her yarrrrrs to vocalize because I don't think they bark.

(i.ex. clownfish). Also male bearded dragons can change their sex while in the egg. People often forget that most social animals engage in play, and through play we can communicate without language. Canines as a whole are some of the most playful social animals, able to recognize the importance of "holding back" so as to not cause harm. Domestic dogs have the most keen grasp of this, recognizing that human skin is thin and weak. My own dog is a smaller breed and should thus display a higher likelihood to bite, but you can place your fingers between her jaws and she will refuse to bite down. I love canines.
When I play fight with my youngest shihtzu, you can tell part of the game is to pretend to bite me but he would never ever hurt me and will instantly release to show he's not trying to hurt me 😊 It's so cute and I love playing with him. He also does this thing where he stands on his back legs and I've got to grab one of his front paws and rawr at him. So funny
what I love most about this is just how clear it is how you likely never really chase after them so they just totally feels completely in the open to do whatever they want and leave whenever they want meaning they're putting up with your nose grabbing and having some fun instead😂👍
Have you tried leaving her unplugged for ten or more minutes? I don't know how it differs from doing it all in one go, but that usually doesn't stop me from attempting it 😂😂

@Aurorya lol you do know how similar huskies and coyotes act right? This type of hybrid isn't sterile either, so they can really blend in as a normal dog. Especially when mixed with a husky, people just tend to think they're ✨️spicey✨️
You guys' dogs arent mixed with coyotes. They are just huskies who are wild as is. 😅😂 If they were hybrids there is some legality to that so I wouldnt spread it. Its like people saying they have a wolf dog. They usually dont and they are just putting their animal at risk to try to look "cool". These animals arent dogs, no matter how tame she looks or how dog she looks. She is still a coyote and im sure he is aware of that making him a good coyote owner.
I feel like this is literally how we domesticated the wolves that evolved into domestic dogs. We just kept petting and feeding them until they just decided to stick around.
She's like a cat. A cat can really hurt you if they want to. I have a cat that's socialble and friendly but when he's had enough he gives you a love bite. If you don't get the hint he bites again but a little bit harder.
The only problem is the coyote is much larger than a cat. My moms cat recently gave her a black eye from jumping and scratching her face (just playing). This animal can do so much worse. Its scary but the interactions are amusing.
@@anh7807 I'd argue domestic cats could do similar damage if under stress. Their claws are much sharper. Anecdotal but my bestie quite literally was sent to the ER, stayed in the ICU, and had to get a transfusion + antibiotics while trying to socialize the previously abused cat she'd adopted. Her arms looked like she'd been in a shredder. She's a very experienced foster too, but things happen. Not arguing that coyotes aren't dangerous, because they can be very vicious towards animals and even people if cornered/starving, but watch out for cats too lmao. Any animal can be dangerous. Even swans have killed before. My first rescue rat bit me hard when I was cleaning her cage before I gained her trust. My pittie scratches me during playtime all of the time even though I file her nails and she's gentle with other people/creatures. Be prepared when you get any pet and learn first aid :) also make sure you can handle the worst possible situation lol
@@pissbaby6849 Domestic casts are probably the %1 animal at injuring humans. They also decimate birds. Before antibiotics, housecats probably killed a lot of people. My cat attacked my dad's arm and he would have died if not for IV antibiotics at hospital.
I think she needs a factory reset, so back up all the stuff you need. Edit: I read more about this specific model, and in order to perform a factory reset, you must first touch the black shut down button on the front, and then you must press all 4 kickstand feet.
That freaking coyote takes that ice cube away from you more gently than a domesticated dog does 😂😂😂😂 that’s impressive. It’s like she’s in two worlds she’s still wild and has her natural attitude but also a little Tame to be able to live in your world
Knew a guy who collected and raised from puppies about 10 coyotes, which would grow up to become the best guard animals I've ever seen, he trained them to attack or cease attacking based off a certain set of sounds, that being a short low pitched shout to attack whomever he happened to make the sound at, and a high pitched sort of howl for them to fall back toward him and get behind him. They were chaotic little devils, but they proved to care very much about the old man who raised them.
You have to figure out how coyotes show each other affection, and then imitate that. He/she will look at you much differently after. A lot of aggressiveness is animals not understanding or misunderstanding human behavior.
