Hi! My name is Michele and I'm on my journey to finding my star. After six years of sharing my struggles to become a mum I realized that I had been so busy with the fight that I forgot to live. Now I'm focusing on the things I am most passionate about; minimalism, veganism, low waste, overcoming food addiction, and travel. Come join me on my journey to living intentionally and Finding My Star.

I'm just so inspired by your story. I can't wait to meet her on here. You are a great mom! Just amazing to see how hard you fought.

My preferred bedtime most of the year is 9 pm and I wake up at 5 am. Right now, during the summer it's usually midnight or later (last night was 2 am lol) and then I wake up between 7 and 8 am. Teyla gets fussy around 10 pm and usually wakes up at 7 am. Evening is easier to ignore than in the mornings because she gets pushy 😂

Finding My Star Lol I sometimes stay up till 1 am. If I go to bed before midnight I won’t get solid sleep. I suffer from insomnia. If I go to bed at 9pm I’ll be awake at 2-3 am lol. My body auto wakes up at around 6 hours. These herbal tablets are helping. It’s part of my Hashimotos disease. Staying up till midnight helps. But if I stay up too late that will mess up my fatigue also another fabulous Hashimotos symptom. I swear I can’t win. Midnight is a happy medium for me. It’s just sucks on cold winter nights like tonight it’s currently 12 degrees Celsius. I’m in a state known for its sunny winters so for me that’s freezing lol.

I have chronic fatigue thanks to my endo so I rarely have trouble sleeping. I have a very good evening routine that I start about an hour before bed and it really helps my body prepare for sleep. Usually by the time my head hits the pillow I'm out in minutes lol. I do wake a few times a night to pee but I leave all the lights off so I'm back asleep in minutes. Before having proper endo treatment I could sleep 12+ hours and still be exhausted and struggle to function. Now I only need around 7-8 hours to feel fully rested. Summer messes with me a bit because the sun sets so late that don't realize the time. Since I don't have to work though it doesn't matter much. In winter it's easy to go to bed earlier. It's summer here with nightly lows of around 14 C lol. Winter nights are easily -30C 😂
