Thanks for watching! This is my first RU-vid Video so I'd appreciate any feedback. Be sure to let me know what sort of videos you'd like to watch in the future and if you're going to use any of my desk setup ideas for your own home music studio ✌
Yo I would have never thought, that this is your first one. I thought you would be some big RU-vidr but indeed you are pretty new. Keep up the good work and you will get there! I like your personality
@@enzea Dude I found some stuff! I'll post some pics on insta when it's done but my room feels so much nicer NOW!!! Thanks!!! Yes sir, still over in NZ :) hope you are well sir
Wow this Channel is Brilliant. Very well filmed loved the B-roll, your background at the desk, the camera presence, editing etc you will be going far I'm surprised really how great this content is. Found you almost by accident will be subbed definitely for the long run.😀😀😀👍
Duuuuuuude the ikea countertop hack! Thank you. I’m absolutely going to be doing this. Good call with the plant square too. Man, there are so many videos about desk hacks but this one is the only actual useful one.
If this is your first RU-vid video, you're gonna go real far!! Brilliant and subscribed. great pace with the voice and good B-roll. Hi from lockdown in the Wirral, UK. I've seen Daniel Schiffer's video and its a clever move. I currently have 2 HUGE softbox lights that I need to replace.. they are just too damn big in a home studio environment. Awesome first vid mate. keep going!
Nice one man! I spent months looking for something cheaper/better but IKEA beat anything I could find. It's a little pricey but worth it in the long run. Thanks for the watch!
wow this is inspirational would love to see a video showing how to setup for a motion command touch screen and how the work follow can be , however this video give me ideas on improving my space
Also the Linnmon hack is brilliant. What dimensions did you end up with for the linnmon. I have the 186cm Karlby from IKEA and thinking of doing something similar like yours.
Thanks! The linnmon desk is 2m, that’s why I had to go with the bigger Karlby by desk and cut it down to 2m. Overall it was important to get the full 2m to fit my monitors and displays and came in handy that the plant wall came in 1Mx1M squares! Good luck with your desk!
Hey Allie! Welcome to the channel!! I’m making a video at the moment explaining how I built it all. Hit the sub and you’ll get the video when it drops! Thanks 🙏
The ADAM speakers are great! A lot of professional produces have those as well. I have GENELEC 8040's myself. They are so great, i love them! Been using those for the last 10yrs. Certainly for dance music (i make hardstyle), GENELEC, ADAM's, DYNAUDIO, etc... are very good choices. You do have a great studio! Great vibes in there as well!
Your space looks incredibly inviting and functional! Nice work. Very creative with the greenery over the sound absorbing tiles. I may have to borrow that idea for my own space!
This is great. Thanks so much for taking the time. Due to move home soon and my wife and I have earmarked the one remaining spare room (kids have others!) as a music/art studio / home office
Really nice work :) As someone looking to trade up from her $50 plastic foldout desk this is a really lovely inspiration - and genius to use plants over the soundgrey :)
@@enzea Thank you so much! ❤️ I will send you a pictures as soon as I have them installed in my studio. Hint: my studio looks very close to yours. I have a confession. I looked at your video before I made it 2 months ago 😁 I will post back here soon! 😊
I'm so surprised how you don't have thousands of followers, but for sure it will happen. Clear, straightforward, well presented, affordable and practical, what else can we hope for. Things are tough on everyone during this pandemic and art in general is suffering a lot. Some poeple choose to wait and some are doing their best to adabt. I'm sure this beautiful studio will boost your creativity and your videos will get wonderful feedback . I wish you the best of luck 🙏🎶⚘. Meriem Ben Amor - World Music Artist
I Matt ! I just found your RU-vid channel and fell in love with your studio desk I'm currently building my first "real" home studio and I wanna know the size of the white desk for the monitors once cutted ? Keep up the good content as you do 🙌
Hey Angelo! That’s mega! Glad to hear you’re working on your own desk. The top monitor stand is 2m wide and about 37cm deep.. just deep enough for the speakers to go on at a slight angle. Hope that helps!
Your plant wall looks dope! My ikea also has fake plant tiles but they look very different, only tiny round leaves ans some ivy but no big spicky plants like the ones you have. Or did you add additional fake plants?
Great video and I also just upgraded to Adams and they are sweet, a lot easier to mix with than my old KRK's. Would love an indepth build video of your desk :-)
Hey man, have the cut on the Linnmon table affected its performance? I've seen they are not so thic so I'm worried about doing a shelf with it by just cutting it. Did you sealed the cut or did you left it raw?
Just found you, faux living wall got instant sub haha. Very nice setup, got the vibe and doesn’t go crazy with outboard gear etc. Personally I’d love a link to the particular panels of greenery you used, they’re quite lush. Seems you’ve added to them as well (this is a case of I thought I came up with an idea and I find out I totally didn’t, but that it was a good idea nonetheless!). Just watch for dust accumulation, take them down periodically and really give them a good hose and scrub, gives an opportunity to up the vibe by switching out the extra plants with, for example, the little fake Venus fly traps and mini Twoeys from Little Shop of Horrors for the spoopy season, if you do desire.
Cheers man! Appreciate the comment! I grabbed the plant wall from Evergreen Direct. Will be taking down the plant wall after a month to clear off dust. Probably hang them on the washing line and hit them with a stick?! May well change up the vibe.... Working on the follow up video now. Thanks for the support!
Hey Matias! Thanks 🙏 the cabinets underneath are IKEA but I don’t think they sell them anymore. Check out my other video where I go into a bit more detail if you need it!
@enzea. Thanks for the great Video. How are the Capita legs is it very solid? I'm looking at doing something like what you have but on an autonomous.ai Sit / Stand desk. I have a 27inch iMac and two Yamaha hs8 speakers. Just wondering how solid that shelf is?
