I just wanna say THANK YOU for talking through this! I love watching people build their setups but it’s almost always the super quiet, subtitled versions. I love them but they’re too quiet for me.
Freaking love how clean and sorta minimal the setup looks, I said it on Insta and I will say it again here. You never disappoint to make an awesome set up and content.
what you should put above your monitors is a neon sign that says @Astronuggie this will promote your instagram and anyone who shares pictures of your setup won't be able to say it's their's, you also could put 3d panels behind your neon sign and maybe some 3 tier geometric shelves to diplay your own personality with your setup games you play, movies, artwork, props, models, action figures and etc. So far your desk looks great, just carry the same theme with the rest of your wall and the results will speak for themselves!
Amazing! No matter the layup, theme, or style, the setup result comes better than expected! Since watching your videos here and on tik tok I have been revamping my setup inspired by yours (ps. I gave credit to you on one of my tik to videos)! Please put out more videos!
I can 100% relate. Working from day in and day out has let me to also switch things around so I'm 100% satisfied while I work. I hate being uncomfortable at my setup. You don't even want to know how many chairs I've bought over the years lol. If you also really want to use those speakers I would highly suggest you mounting them on the wall with a wall stand.
glad someone else feels this way too! hahah yup, it's always the chairs lol i'm moving in a couple months and i can't mount them on this wall anyway cus it's concrete + landlord issues :( working with what i've got
This looks absolutely stunning! I wish I could have such a bright set up like this. I've been struggling with how dark my setup is due to having a dark colored desk and dark wooden walls and floor in my room. One day I get something like this. So many great ideas!
i love this setup! would you ever make a video about like some affordable things to upgrade your setup? i'm on a college students budget but wanting a really cool homey setup like this!!
Evrerytime I think i can't like your setup more, you prove me wrong it just keeps getting better and better! Excited to see what you do with the space above your monitor! Also i really like your monitor stand, do you happen to have a link to it? I can't seem to find that one under your setup links.
the sad thing is that drawer comes with wood front drawer covers but it was out of stock when I got this, and I'm soo tempted to just buy that one instead cus I agree it would look much better! 🥲
by the way do not plug in anything beside a phone charger too the desk because my friend lost a monitor by using the plug outlet on the desk because it not a surg protector
Wish I worked from home so I could put an ounce of effort into my setup. It's always been hand-me-downs.. I mean it's great that it's usually free but there's reasons why people are getting rid of it lol. I just wish I could personalize a space for myself
I have a very similar set up, however the problem I am running into are the cables behind the desktop. Were you able to address that? I couldn’t really tell, but from the side view, it seems like I can still see the cables hanging loss.
Yeah unfortunately mine hang loose too so I hide then with a plant and some stuff on my desk lol I know there are cable wraps/mini cable snakes for a bunch of cables together tho!
What do you use for your cable management / wrap from the PC to the computer? Looks like you just have free floating cables that you conceal with your plants (real? fake?)
those ones I don't have managed behind my pc cus they need to move freely when my desk rises, it sucks and doesn't look great but I don't want them to snag!
what kind of laptop do you have? if it's a PC you'll just need an HDMI or display port, but if your laptop doesn't have the outlets built in then you may need an external hub! highly recommend watching some youtube tutorials cus it'll be a game changer!
@@astronuggie Mine is a Macbook Air, it doesn't have HDMI, only USB Type Cs but I've heard that there is a HDMI to USB Type C cables. I'll try to look into it. Thank you so much!! My heart is so happy that you took time to respond to my comment 💜💜💜
I love it! it's pretty damn firm to the point where if I don't get up after some hours my butt will definitely be sore, but if you don't want anything squishy or that sinks then this is great option. I'm even considering getting a seat cushion or back pillow for mine to make it softer lol
Really good video, that give me so many ideas for my futur setup. Unfortunatly, i ask to Desky if they ship to France and they said no. 😭😭 I'm gonna search somewhere if they have the same kind of desk or support for monitor on Ikea or somewhere else. I'm gonna try for the first time a setup with LED too. Thanks for your video, i sub.
thank you! i used the BenQ ScreenBar Plus for this one! i wouldn't use it to illuminate your face, no, it can only point down and doesn't bounce off your face at all
hi loved your desk setup and i really admire creating one for myself, but before that may i knw which camera are you using to shoot this video it ll help me alot for my videos thnx :)
cus it still would've been too cluttered and they would've been a bit too far apart! plus I like how sleek the soundbar looks while giving me more table space since this one is smaller what I had before
first is a programmable macro pad from aliexpress and the clock is from divoom, I have them both linked in the description under my liinks url - both in the keyboard section
