That's because it's a Samsung washer! That tune is called The Trout by Franz Schubert.

For those who dont know. That is "Die Forelle" by Schubert. :) Actually a very nice piano/vocal piece. Enjoy!

My laundry machine plays exactly the same song.

Mine plays the same song and then it has an extra 'dun da dun dun dun dunnnn' at the end if you keep waiting. When I first heard it, it sounded so happy that I didn't want to open the door for fear that it might stop playing its happy song!

you'll get a kick out of this-- my boyfriend was telling me the story of a dryer they had as a kid and how it played this annoying 30-second song. Remove the speaker.

Actually that's the song for the dryer finishing it's cycle, clearly when you open the door without pausing it's automatically registering a finish clause.
