As a long term Daily Woo viewer and aviation nerd I appreciate the level of detail you leave in your travel videos, the airport experience, take off, in flight ambiance and landing, thank you Adam!
I love Canada and Toronto especially. My last visit was to Quebec City. I hadn't been to QC since I was about 10 so it was fun to visit it as an adult. Beautiful city and I stayed in a lovely bed and breakfast that wasn't an Airbnb. Huge suite!! I will stay there again.
I purchased a nylon belt with a plastic buckle on Amazon for flying. I no longer have to take my belt off at security. Also you can get an around the neck passport lanyard for international travel. This will allow you to have your passport with you and handy when you need it. We tuck them in under our shirt when not needed.
I hope you enjoyed Toronto, you only touched the surface. There is so much more to see, hopefully on your return visit here. Hotel Victoria is great for location, comfort, history, with a cozy atmosphere. You left early this am and you passed by my home. Safe travels and enjoy the rest of your adventures this summer, I’ll be watching !
Adam. I am So glad you were able to experience our wonderful City this week. I have been watching you for years. Maybe I will run into you in Florida when I come down this winter.
The construction at LAX is the new people mover that opens early 2026. It's an automated train system that will take you to the new centralized car rental building and to the subway. No more buses to pick up your rental cars!!! Part of the planning for the Olympics in 4 years.
Hot coffee watching Adam the woo . That was an awesome weekend that you had with Scott filming different locations and downtown and traveling I know you're probably already in the States but have safe travels see you on the next vlog .The vlog is over
Memories of all the travel done before. Thanks for the updates. The idea of being in a different place to to explore is appealing and the process of travel has it's moments. It is like hiking up a mountain the journey is rewording.
Am loving the soundscapes of the flights ✈️. .. thank you for those moments Wooster.. am excited. You're in LA means Daphne time I am hoping.. have fun today
So glad you had a nice time in Toronto . You only saw a mere fraction of this beautiful city. I hope you come back in the future and explore some more. I’m from TO and I showcase the sights and sounds both urban and nature. I’ve been watching you for years and you are one of the reasons I started a channel. Thank you for the hours upon hours of entertainment you have provided. Cheers to you good sir! 😀
Adam the structure in LA was never a control tower, it was built to resemble a “spaceship” or something along that for the space age. It was originally a revolving restaurant and sky view platform to watch planes take off and land. That is not something airports really have anymore sadly it’s all about getting on and off quickly and not the experience of flight it once was. I’m a flight attendant so I’m not trying to be a know it all, but I fly to LA a lot and have talked to shuttle drivers about that spaceship structure and there are plans to restore it but for now it’s just storage and not for public at this time. I also hope they never take it down it’s very iconic for LAX
When I take the train from my home up to see my friend I don't like showing up early as the train station has nothing to do. I am though like you when I fly. I would rather be there early find my gate and then a snack or starbucks. I'm always afraid of being late.
The airport WANTS you to spend you remaining amount of money in the airport because that’s how they can make their money. I never buy anything from Duty free because I know it’s overpriced and I can get those items for much cheaper than what the store is offering. MSP is my home airport and the same station that you got off the tram, you can also go through the Airport Mall to the G gates and then walk down to your connecting gate at G15. I do agree, it can be confusing at first but, it’s far better than how Chicago O’Hare and Houston Bush are laid out
Adam if your going to be using DELTA primarily, you should think about using LYFT as well. You can combine accounts and receive SKYMILES when taking LYFTS. Plus from AIRPORTS you earn 2x the MILES. Just a FYI. -NV
This made me think of Starbucks. I think you can link your Starbucks account to your Delta account and earn SkyMiles that way too. Travel days give you extra. Maybe?
Hey Adam, it was built as The Theme Building and has housed restaurants over time. Much too low for a control tower. That tall one is the newer tower. The old one is I think gone now? I haven’t been to LAX since the train system is being built. It’s going to hook up to the Metro coming down the 105 Freeway. Great travel vlog as usual.
Hoped you enjoyed visiting Toronto! Terminal 3 is so nice to fly out of in Toronto, never a line for security. We flew out at end of April during prime time and there was like 4 people there total.
I always love your travel videos. Airports and plane travel is amazing. It's like a miracle that it's even possible! Also, in my fairly limited air travel experience, the Minneapolis airport is the nicest one I've seen. It was like a shopping mall with an airport attached.
I know you love Delta and please don't blame Delta for what's going on it's just a hot mess really praying that everything works out for you. Safe travels! Have a great weekend! Let's go!
Good you had an early morning flight with no delays. We flew out of MSP on Delta on Tuesday afternoon and had a 2 hr delay for our flight to Texas. I hope things are better for our return trip next week. Safe travels .
Forget loyalty to a particular airline, it's not worth it! Why suffer with connecting flights and delays for what, a few mileage points? Fly with whoever is cheapest and convenient and use a cash back card that has incentives for travel expenditures!
I like the sound of that first flight attendant/she sounds so chill/like she’s having a cigarette and a cup of coffee while she was talking lol/Adam I love that you film your travels. I am an airlines/airplane enthusiast and I love the fact that you film inside the plane and your whole flight or most of your flight/enjoy California I used to live there
I really liked the time capsule stop. I hope they’re opened someday! When you said you’ll be ‘In and out. In and out’ I thought, Like the burger! Could tell you were running on less sleep because I didn’t hear a mention of the airports’ gym statues
*Europe* ...Most airports here have facial recognition scanners ( ie you place your passport face page under a small scanner. You stand on a spot, and a camera moves down until you see your face on a screen in the middle of a circle. A.I. matches your face with the face on your passport. Voila, the gate opens and you're through. No human checks your passport ). 90% of airports have the security check in one lump after passport check. Some sneaky airports like here in Prague have the security control at each individual gate. It's there that they check your bags and have a body scanner. That duty free shop after the security check is like every duty free airport shop in European airports. Always directly after security. Sometimes you walk all the way through it to find the pathway loops back around, and if you had just cut left ( or right depending on the airport) you could bypass most of it. Most "full fare" airlines here ( eg British Airways, Lufthansa etc. ) will check your boarding pass and passport at the door of the plane. Most "low cost" European airlines ( like Eurowings, Ryanair etc. ) will just about check your boarding pass, if at all.
Welcome back to LA! Don’t like the sudden ending of the videos, though I’ll keep saying it every time it happens. But your videos are so much fun to watch. You are the absolute best.
Loved your Toronto vlogs , Canada is a beautiful country , hope you get to see more of the country one day . I’ve been Toronto , Quebec, Ottawa , Vancouver and the Rockies , I’m from the uk . Have also done Florida loads too !
So excited you’re coming to LA/Anaheim (I’m guessing!) Wish I could run into you and say hello! You start my day, everyday! Love the vlogs. My Diz pass expired so doubt I’ll see you but enjoy your time here! Hugs & safe travels always!!!❤️
I love Canada, but my family and I are also next to broke now, so I really hope you do go back to Canada and experience it on your own at some point because that'd be so great to watch!
As much as I think these videos are boring I still watch them because I’m living my travel life through everyone else because I haven’t gone anywhere this year…it’s like I’m traveling and walking through the airport…I think I’m only going to take two trips later this year though…
Wait till u see the sky clubs at LAXJFK Boston they’re all fabulous. Glad you got toLA Enjoy Miss summer scream. Can’t wait to see the footage. I sure enjoyed the videos from Toronto. They were great.😊
Thank you for doing these travel videos. Flying is not my joy, I have sooo much anxiety. Watching your videos helps me with lowering my anxiety! It’s truly helpful!
It was a resturant called the PROUD BIRD 1969 Senior Prom for my sister this is a very Iconic landmark. N yes it is going to be a monorail system connecting car rental and airport.
I also got confused too at msp I had to go to the g gates to get from my flight from cid to slc to gft and I went past that sky club and it looks cool looking too
WELCOME TO THE INTERNATIONAL DUTY FREE! Every once in a while, you stumble across a pretty decent deal in there and pay -0- taxes! By the way Adam, you go through the same immigration process coming back from DUBLIN, IRELAND and the US Customs there .. .. So if you ever decide to go to Dublin and return directly from there, get through the hour-long line @ US customs first and then wait at the gate!
Not necessarily on topic, but I have been watching some old videos of you and Daphne in San Francisco because I am getting ready to go there next week. Not only are your videos with Daphne really helpful and informative, but I also really congratulate you for your weight loss journey. I watch your daily videos, so it’s not as apparent day-to-day, but the weight loss really shows from watching your videos from nearly a year back and three years back. You’re doing a great job, and I wish you continued success on that journey.
Gentle hint. If you need to get up earlier than normal.... drink a big glass of water before going to sleep. FYI sometimes TSA is not open early like the other security lines. Ex. at Logan Airport it opens around 4:30 AM, otherwise you'll need to go through the regular security line. I discovered that the hard way XD Glad you've gotten 25 stadiums done!
Super smooth landing at LAX. WTG fly boy! Kuh-WHY. Bridge on the River Kwai. 😊 FYI - Once you get thru Toronto security in T1 international to the E/F departure gates, Starbies is on the right, and Timmie's is to the left around a corner and on the right (in a nook) across from gates E81/F81. 'Cause sometimes a Boston Creme and an XL Double Double are the only things that'll motivate you for a 6:05am non-stop to Miami. ❤✌🌮
Adam a large percentage of the medium to large international airports not in the US (particularly in Europe) put you through a shop just like that when you enter the terminal!
