Some people doesn't know how it feels having severe eczema.. When u talk about it I feel the same and it's very difficult, debilitating condition. I have severe eczema on both hands and arms and spread on my legs a yr now. I was out fr. Work for many months, so sting and dry..I avoid dairy, gluten, red meat, all the allergen foods and eat low histamine, manage stress, and I still have eczema but not as worse as before I just don't get it that I still have rashes on my upper arms, hands, and got so intense at night. Naturopaths, Doctors can't really pinpoint what's causing it..I losed so much weight but I keep fighting it, praying, positive, and love myself and listen to my body..Thank you for sharing ur video..

I'm so sorry you've gone through this too. I hope you find out what's causing it, I still have it on my hands too, but it's a lot better on my arms and legs now that I've stopped eating nuts for the most part.

I'm so sorry... The stress is real. The main thing is try not to scratch as hard as it is. I try and keep my nails as short as possible so I won't be tempted as that can lead to it spreading. Try to change your skincare routine using fewer chemicals, sulphate free and natural ingredients that really helped with me. Also exfoliating your skin, people usually think that because we have eczema and dry skin we don't need to exfoliate but we need to and it helps a lot. Do not use a physical exfoliator or scrub though, chemicals exfoliators are key. I have used lactic acid 5% which really helps. It does sting a little but make sure you moisturise afterwards and it helps your skin soak up the moisturiser better and helps to heal your skin

Such an emotional experience watching this video. My eczema story is almost identical to yours. After an especially horrific outbreak this summer, I decided to go fully vegan three months ago to heal my skin. It wasn't a super tough transition as I cooked mostly vegan before the switch, but being half Japanese, I've been struggling on how to incorporate the comforting Asian flavors I grew up with into my new vegan lifestyle, which is how I found you! Knowing that there's another woman out there, my age, my race, who struggles with the same health, mental, and self-image issues as I do was really powerful. Thank you for sharing your story and your food!

I'm also half Japanese! I'm vegetarian and when I go to Japan to visit my family, it's a bit of a struggle when I go to restaurants but not too much. I can't imagine what it would be like to be vegan, because Japan isn't as veggie friendly as America, Canada, etc

It feels like I listen my girlfriend who is suffering from atopic dermatitis since she is young. "I'm so ugly, I'm so disgusting how can you love me ?" It's actually really hurtful to hear this kind of words. She sometimes don't go outside by fear of being judged by people. Now I understand how hard is it for her, how many times I told her "stop scratching for god sake" sometimes I was so mad (mostly because I'm suffering from misophonia and dry skin sounds scratch made me bad)..but I never put myself in her shoes so I never knew how hard it is. I'm glad I found your channel because I could understand the difficulty of getting through these diseases. I watched your other video about how you get better and send it to her,I hope she will find comfort in your video and see that she is not the only one who suffer from this terrible condition. Thank you so much for being honest about it and sharing your story.

OMG I loved you already but I ❤️ you so much more after watching this. While I don't have eczema, I have other skin issues and I definitely get how it affects you both physically and emotionally. Thank you for your candor, and I'm so, so sorry to hear how much this gets you down. Dietarily speaking, I think there's only so much you can do. The steroid stuff definitely has its drawbacks, and I don't blame you for wanting to limit your reliance on that. I guess it comes down to how much you want to rely on pharmaceuticals to help. I'm happy to hear that your partner is supportive; that makes a world of difference. We are greater than the sum of what ails us, and this kind of honesty is not only good for you but for those who take it in. Thank you for sharing it.

I stumbled onto your channel tonight and am so glad I did! Your experience sounds a lot like mine when I was growing up. As a child my eczema was so bad that even in the middle of summer in central Arizona (where I grew up) when it was well over 100 degrees Fahrenheit, I wore long sleeves and pants to hide the red spots that covered my arms and legs. One of my earliest memories is of a boy in second grade refusing to play with me anymore because my skin was "ugly." I remember being slathered in disgusting home remedies like Crisco, being forced to give up foods I loved, being forced to eat foods I hated, being cooped up in the school library at recess so I wouldn't be exposed to the heat outside.... Needless to say, eczema really took over my childhood and I absolutely hated it. As I've gotten older I've been lucky enough to see it subside significantly but I completely understand what you're going through. I hope you manage to find some relief soon and that you can take even a tiny bit of solace in the fact that you are certainly not alone.

Keep doing whatever is working for you. I don’t have eczema, but I do scratch when I’m anxious. I have generalized anxiety disorder, and I recently got medicated for it on lexapro, and I didn’t realize until I watched this video that I haven’t been scratching. The medicine makes me feel completely normal except I can let go of stress and not hyper focus on potentially negative or ambiguous situations. Maybe consider going to a psychiatrist or primary care physician to see if there’s an underlying stress or anxiety condition. I used to hate the idea of medicating for my mental disorders, but my experience has changed my perspective. I’m still coming to terms with the idea, tbh, but maybe this can help you. Good luck with your health. Also. I love your channel and I miss viet foods from my family. Your channel has helped me come back to my culinary roots. Ty.

Hi Lisa, I'm a fellow vegan from Sydney, Australia and I just found your channel :D I have suffered with severe eczema so I can relate to everything that you discussed in this video! I've had severe eczema ever since I was born and I was always in and out of hospital, on steroids and creams and also had my fair share of wet dressings!!! My eczema was soo bad that I was referred to the best paediatric dermatologist in the country at the time. I was told that I had one of the worst cases they had ever seen and they were always testing out new drugs, topical creams and treatments on me. I was also told that I would never grow out of it but luckily I did and it has slowly disappeared. I am now almost completely eczema free, but I do need to be extra cautious of what I am eating and as I still have severe allergies. If I don't maintain my 'skin' routine it does come back from time to time so you could say that I am pretty much constantly maintaining a balance in order to control my eczema. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for making this video! It takes a lot to stand in front of potentially hundred and thousands of people and talk about your biggest insecurity (it was for me!). I wish you all the best and can't wait to watch more of your videos xx Michelle

Hi! This is my first time watching you. I'm also recovering from eczema myself, been healing for more than 2 years now and my skin is getting better everyday. I know this video is kinda old, so I'm not sure if you're still experiencing eczema, but just in case you are here is my advice. It seems like you have a gut related issue based on what you said in the video that you were eating lots of carb like "bread" and rice when you get stressed out, so do research on "leaky gut syndrome" (basically there are small wholes on the wall of your gut). Search Amy myers, that's the first person that led me to my healing journey. There are many things that contribute to this condition e.g. "dysbiosis" aka bacterial imbalance, stress, lack of sleep, chronic constipation, and trigger foods (foods that cause damage to the wall of your GI tract = gluten and protein A1 in dairy products). To sum up you need to heal your gut. stop eating 1. all animal products (which you are already), except bone broth (if you would like to give it a try just for healing purposes) 2. refined sugar 3. gluten 4. processed foods (even if it's vegan) eat 1. LOTS of fruits and veggies (the prebiotic helps feed the good bacteria in your gut, also the phytonutrients help build new cells faster/strengthen the immune system) 2. probiotics (the good bacteria helps fight the bad guys to bring back the balance) 3. bone broth (the bioavailable collagen helps repair the intestinal lining) Anyway, I hope you feel better now, regardless of your eczema situation. lots of love and peace to you!

Thanks for sharing this. I know it's not your newest video, but I am currently going through the worst breakout of it yet, and nothing that is normally works is. It's normally really under control but it's currently all over my upper legs, upper arms, stomach, and wrists. I found this really comforting to know that I'm not alone. Also, this isn't related to our mutual skin issues, but I wanted you to know how much I love your personality. I am attempting the transition into veganism and you were a big part of me thinking it was possible for me. You seem like someone I could get along great with, and your food looks delicious and not too complicated and real. It looks like what I already eat and that is amazing. So thank you for being you, and keep it up!! ❤️

On another note, that's AMAZING that you're transitioning to vegan!!

I've dealt with eczema since I was super young like you described. I remember my senior year of high school, I was in orchestra and we went on a cruise to the Bahamas and I spent the whole trip scratching and feeling insecure in my bathing suits because of the blistered skin on my legs. I felt like I'd look like that forever. A few months later, I discovered cortisone10 (a topical cream found in most drugstores/grocery stores) and that helped with the clearing up and itching tremendously. I wasn't vegan at the time so I had to use it religiously because I was still prone to outbreaks if I didn't, but I recently transitioned to veganism and cutting out dairy made such a huge difference. I don't need the topical cream anymore and I never itch. I know it's such a difficult thing to deal with and my heart goes out to you as you work to find a solution. love your videos!

Wooow it's so strangely wonderful to see someone who has hands like I have! It's literally the first time that I see anyone (apart from my father) who goes through these phases of painful hands. I know how horrible it can be, when youre not able to do anything because your hands simply don't work along. During the worse flare ups, I try to remind myself that skin constantly renews itself, so in a way this condition is also a beautiful way to remind yourself that you are always developing. You always get a second change to help revitalize your body. In the meantime, I wear some fancy gloves, give myself some time off and watch a whole bunch of movies Wish you all the best! Now i'm gonna see your other videos too :)

OMG. I can't imagine. I didn't realize eczema could be that bad. I know you will find something that works for you. I am sure it will be a balance of several things. As you were talking I was thinking of Dr. Liem Le who practices traditional Chinese medicine. I am not sure if he'd be able to help, this is not his main area, but he may be able to recommend someone. I understand that cost is always an issue. Thank you so much for sharing your frustrations and fears with us. Oh and don't apologize about the camera. If anyone comments on that, they were not listening to your message. Best of Luck!

My eczema is definitely pretty awful, but I know so many people who have had it so much worse. I actually went vegetarian because I was drinking some herbal medicine from a local Chinese doctor. It was so gross though. It was so concentrated with herbs I was drinking sludge tea... I couldn't really stomach it =/

Lisa, thank you SO MUCH for this. I had really bad eczema when I was a child on my hands and legs, which disappeared. But it came back on my hand about 5-6 years ago, and I have had it ever since. It comes and goes on my left hand and sits constantly on my right hand. I work a lot outside and with animals and my hands don't like that, obviously. I feel the same struggles - I have told my boyfriend 10.000 times that it is not contagious and he always says it does not matter, and he helps me so much, but so many times I just want to cut off my hands. Thank you so much for being so honest! Also, as I saw in another video - I have a lot of the same allergies (trees, fruit, nuts). Doctors told me that is all connected and that I should be happy I didn't get asthma - seriously?! I think doctors should help us much more with this instead of telling us we have to live with it. I have been sent away from a skin specialist as well twice because they were full and I literally stood there and my hands were so itchy that my skin had cracked open in several places. So I am always happy to hear from other people and see what helped for them, or what not. Good luck fighting your eczema and lots of love from Germany!

Aw I have asthma too, but it's not horrid. It's only if I'm in really hot or really cold climates that it affects me. Or if I'm exercising hahha. But I actually did another video more recently (actually I'll add it into the cards for this video now) about how I've been able to manage my eczema lately. My hands have been like 90% better ever since!

Hi Lisa, thanks so much for sharing this! I had some skin issues worsen after being vegan (gluten free vegan) for a while and finally realized that a big part of the problem was my omega 3:6 ratio. You might have already looked into this, but omega 3s are anti-inflammatory and it's very easy to be deficient in them, especially as a vegan. Omega 6s are inflammatory and most of us have way way way too many of them which creates all kinds of issues. I am still vegan of course but have been experimenting with dietary changes that promote omega 3s while reducing omega 6 intake and I've definitely noticed a difference. Not saying this is the cure for you or anything like that, but I wanted share in case it helps you at all. LOVE your channel and your recipes by the way!

I recognize that finding the cure may be elusive, but in the meantime you might see if chamomile tea or barberries help (you can get them in Persian shops, and I get mine from Amazon). Both are supposed to be helpful regarding eczema. I find the barberries pretty tasty. You also might also try amla (in Indian shops and, of course, from Amazon) and turmeric. Amla tastes like bitter dust to me, but you could put it in capsules if you found it helpful. I put half a teaspoon twice a day in my casseroles and I don't notice it.

I have a day care, and two of the kids in my home have eczema. The one little boy has it quite bad on his legs. He scratches his legs so much & so badly that they bleed. He went to the naturopath (the same one I have taken my son to), and I highly recommend it! Removing sugar, refined carbs & dairy from his diet helped IMMENSELY! (per the naturopaths instruction). If he does eat simple carbs & sugar, his skin gets quite bad. (Also, if you have benefits, the majority of the cost to visit a naturopath is covered).
@Thevietvegan
@Thevietvegan 8 лет назад
Aw poor kid! I should be eating fewer sugar-heavy things in general, because I do notice it does get kind of bad when I eat too many sweets haha. I don't currently have any benefits, but I'm thinking of investing in a visit to a naturopath sometime anyway. Eventually when I save up some more.

Hi. I've battled acne/ eczema/ dermatitis for years. My dermatitis has got worse over the years because I've become more and more allergic to various things. So here are some tips and things I've found that help. All natural, and vegan of course. Drink 1 tsp of turmeric a day because it's anti-inflammatory and helps with skin conditions. Drink apple cider vinegar, up to 3 tablespoons a day- helps with skin Eat a super simple diet to eliminate any allergens or triggers Keep a big box of oatmeal handy because it's amazing for cooling down flare ups, you know when your skin feels like it's on fire? You can use it as a mask or bathe in it. Epsom salt baths, or make it into a spray, so you can spray it on your body during flare ups Rose water spray, it's very cooling and softens skin Apple cider vinegar toner to use on scarred areas- obviously when the eczema isn't flaring up Use natural shampoo, toothpastes etc. I use Savon de Marseilles which is a soap made with just sea water and olive oil- it is so soothing and isn't harsh With regards to stress, I find 5HTP helps a lot Mindfulness- breathing techniques helps with pain/ itching distraction I can so relate to the hand thing- I get extreme dermatitis on my hands, and they literally swell up and I can't close them. And they crack and bleed. Plus I get super self-conscious of them. I find soaking my hands in warm water and epsom salts helps with the swelling. And also coating them with an oatmeal mask to cool them down.

Thanks for making this video. I´m just so sick of the "helpful" suggestions from people who don´t know what they´re talking about but who once read an article in Marie Claire. Eczema sucks and while there are people out there for whom it´s a reaction to a single physiological trigger for most of us it´s a chronic disease and all we can do is optimize our self-care routines to reduce the frequency and severity of flare-ups. And sometimes it´s just too much and everything sucks. I´m sorry that happens to you.

So interesting how you feel anxiety is linked - the stress factor is so significant. I've come across people that seem to eat perfectly, but the body is still having a physiological response to the mental state. Being vegan is a *massive* headstart to not having it anymore though.. Acceptance, positivity, relaxation - and eating clean clean clean! Once your gut is completely healed, you will be able to get away with some less clean vegan foods and get on with an eczema-free life :)

Yes I definitely am working on managing my mental health a little better. I think it was something I ignored for a long time and it's kind of built up to a point where it has resort to coming out through my skin so I deal with it. *sigh* I am considering doing a whole, plant-based foods challenge for a month or so, to maybe see if that will help =) Thank you so much for watching and commenting 💚

I don’t have the same condition, but I have an undiagnosed one. I can’t wear scented deodorant or use scented body wash or fabric softener. Basically anything scented that would touch my arm pit area because it causes me to break out in blisters with pus and it causes an uncontrollable itchiness. I have actually scratched myself until it bled and because of this I now have big brown areas in my armpits and I’m a very pale person and I don’t tan so I just don’t wear tank tops or anything where my armpits would show. I understand being embarrassed by it.

A naturopath is a great idea and a high end strong probiotic.. having healthy gut flora effects everything.
@DivinelyRaw

I second the idea of a strong probiotic. I work with supplements and went to school to be an esthetician. There is the anxiety aspect to eczema, but also the health of your skin is a reflection of gut health. Also, I know that Dead Sea salt baths are great for eczema if you can do it. Hope this helps!!!!! Sending you lots of love!

My latest flare up included pustular eczema in the palm of my right hand. So painful! I get two kinds of eczema, one of them resembles yours and the other kind is like watery blisters that appear instantly and later burst and itch. I got eczema as an adult and now I only get it on my hands, but it used to be on my neck, arms and chest as well. I agree with you about ppl telling you to 'stop scratching'. That stresses me out even more!

I've commented before about my eczema experience when I was younger and how I had it all over my breasts. I remember one time when I was 12 at school, I had a flair up on my legs. My gym teacher thought it was ring worm and wouldn't let me participate in gym with the other kids, so I had to sit out. I remember it being humiliating because people thought I had this disgusting contagious condition when it was really just eczema. I feel for ya.

Will you be able to do an update? I have dealt with eczema my whole life and I have finally figured out what helps with my skin. Mine used to be really bad too and it got worse in the summer as my skin started to dry out more. I make sure I use soaps/body washes that are sulphate free so it is less drying on your skin and does not get rid of the protective layer of your skin. However, I also found that exfoliating is key. Not using the physical scrubs as that can do more damage than good but I have tried chemical exfoliators specifically lactic acid 5%. I have used this before I go to bed leave it on my skin for a bit and then moisturise afterwards. Also using moisturisers that have fewer chemicals and more natural ingredients. It has definitely helped my skin, now I increase my vitamin C intake through my diet as well on physically on my skin, as it is also a good exfoliator. My eczema has pretty much gone have a few scars left which hopefully through exfoliating will disappear as well... I hope this will help

Watching this scratching at my hands, needing some advice because I'm running out of options... oh my god I thought I was the only one who had these issues. I work in kitchens, professionally. I have to wash my hands constantly even though I know soap triggers my eczema. Not being able to work and use my hands because they're too dry to bend isn't an option. So I'm basically in constant pain, cracking and splitting them. I also have pretty bad allergies to like, air basically. I moved to PEI from Saskatchewan which I thought would cure my eczema,allergies and dry skin... nope. It helped for a while but now I'm currently in my worst flare up ever. It makes me sooo self conscious too. I get it on my face too sometimes, mostly around my eyes. I feel like I look like a total troll, and it doesn't help that I have self esteem issues when my skin isn't red and peeling. Thank you so much for sharing your story Lisa, it seems like it was really hard to talk about it but I appreciate it so much. It helps so much to know I'm not a total freak because I feel that way sometimes. I know this video is kind of old, would you consider making an updated video on what you're doing lately? Thanks so much.

I'm so sorry you have to go through this :( My eczema is one of the reasons why I didn't end up going to culinary school, I knew I wouldn't be able to handle it. I actually had a mini update at the end of my last video. I wish I could give you some sort of advice but I'm sure you've heard it all already. Prime Physique Nutrition has a facebook group for eczema support if you want to hear the stories from other people like us? A lot of them have found ways to heal, but some are still suffering too. It's all a journey. Wishing you the best

My dermatologist said that there is an oral medicine that isn't steroids coming down the pipeline in the coming year, they're doing testing on it before it can come out to the market in Canada, so not sure how long it'll be out in other places, but she sounded really optimistic.

This all sounds so familiar to me. My current flare up is ongoing for the past year and a half. Like you, I've tried pretty much everything. I avoid foods that are triggers and have been my entire life. The list changes every so often. With me it's usually seasonal changes that triggers the eczema (spring and fall: sudden drop or rise in temperature). Completely recognize the flaking of skin. I sometimes vacuum every day :p And the hands. I actually wear cotton gloves at work (I need my hands a lot)...
@Thevietvegan
@Thevietvegan 8 лет назад
To be honest, I'm so afraid to eat sometimes. I mentioned it in the raw recording of this video but I decided to cut it out because the video was getting too long. But I honestly have a lot of fear of eating most foods I love (nuts, fruits, vegetables) because I have oral allergy syndrome and sometimes fruits I eat all the time make it worse, and then maybe a year or two later I can eat them just fine. I'm sorry you have to deal with this too. It's awful. I've been wearing cotton gloves constantly (I have like 7 pairs that I cycle through) but even then, it's hard to do work. And I totally vaccuum every day when the flaking hits too ._.
@perfectflaw75

Ah. Yeah. When I was little I couldn't eat oranges, but when I got older I suddenly found I could. For the longest time I could eat apples... until a few years ago. Eating them (even when they're organic) makes everything in my mouth swell up. Stuff like that. Hence, the list of foods that triggers eczema or an allergy changes every so often. I know what you mean. And yes, I agree it's extremely frustrating.
@Thevietvegan
@Thevietvegan 8 лет назад
Yeah, Oral Allergy Syndrome usually correlates with pollen and certain times of the year. I haven't quite figured out the pattern yet, so honestly during flare-ups I get really afraid of eating any fresh fruits or vegetables =(

I wanted to approach my healing in a more holistic manner, but I actually did a video more recently about how I've healed the eczema on my hands almost completely. I can't eat raw because I'm allergic to tons of fresh fruits and vegetables (mainly zucchini, carrots, celery) and I can't eat tree nuts either, especially not in their raw form. So for me to eat the majority of fruits and veg I have to eat them cooked otherwise I get hives =P

I have eczema on my palms and the soles of my feet. It is positively debilitating. Walking hurts, especially when the flare up is in its weepy/cracky stage. I have a great desire to get into shape and do lots of walking/running, but I can't - my ability to walk/run any distance completely depends on how my feet are. Having hands that aren't usable during a flareup makes me feel useless - I have to get my husband to do many of the chores that are usually on my list - which makes me feel bad because I cannot bear my share of the workload. I get frustrated and cry. I hate it when my hands hurt, when they split, I hate the looks I get when all of my fingers have bandaids on them. I hate the fact that my fingernails can never look nice. Not sure if this has happened to you, it's not something that ever gets talked about - but my fingernails are all wavy/damaged looking...this is simply how they grow now and this is because of the eczema on my fingers and in my nailbeds. Lisa and our other co-sufferers: I'm so sorry that you struggle with this too.
@Frobtastic
@Frobtastic 8 лет назад
Forgot to mention - I've also switched all of our cleaners, personal products, chemicals to natural or home-made versions to minimize exposure to the usual culprits. I strongly adhere to David Suzuki's "Dirty Dozen" cosmetic chemicals list: www.davidsuzuki.org/issues/health/science/toxics/dirty-dozen-cosmetic-chemicals/

:( It's like you took the words out of my mouth when you describe what its like when you have a flareup. Eddie is a champ and just does everything, but you're right, it does feel like you're useless. I have to wear cotton gloves whenever the flareup is happening because it hurts to touch anything too. My nails are wavy looking sometimes too. Sometimes they grow back normally, and then sometimes it's all bumpy again. I never paint my nails because I never want to draw attention to them :\

I switched most of my personal products to SLS-free and "natural" kind of products, but half of my cleaning products are still brands like Tide or something. It's a giant bottle from Costco that we've been using for like 8 months so I'll be switching once we finish it >_
@Frobtastic
@Frobtastic 8 лет назад
The Viet Vegan when your tide is gone, you should try Ecos laundry soap - also from Costco (& Canadian Tire, oddly). It has been awesome for me. Natural/no parfum/no SLS etc. More expensive than conventional brands but in a big jug it almost doesn't matter. Finally- you can check with the Toronto Humane Society if you want to ditch your laundry soap early. Most Humane Societies will take stuff like that as donation because they do tons of laundry. Anyway, just a few thoughts 😊

I have my own physical reasons for feeling unlovable but I look at you even when you're at the beginning or end or middle of a flare up and I don't see it like you think I do. If you go out in a pair of shorts do you think that someone is going to yell at you Lisa go back home and put on long pants you can't be here with shorts on!? Of course not most people are so busy with their own lives that they don't notice yours and if they do notice yours then they don't have enough of a life of Their Own. I see a Vietnamese girl who is attractive and funny and a skilled communicator I see the person. Some people have to battle excema their entire lives but it's okay because you have a lot of people out here who care about you and have never met you. Most of us would love to meet you and spend time and cook a meal together and that has nothing to do with having excema or not. It has to do with you. :-)

Healing eczema is possible. However being vegan is not enough since vegans still eat processed foods/comfort foods. It is true that you have to go "vegan" in order to heal but the truth is that you have to maintain a plant-based, whole foods diet. If you can't find it in nature, don't eat it. Simple as that. I recommend you check out the channels Psoriasis Buddy, Rob Stuart and EczemaHealing.org on RU-vid. Good luck.

Seeing the comments and Lisa.....Have any of you tried eating quality meat, eggs, salmon? good quality saturated fat and protein? That is your answer whether you believe it or not. How much illness and problems do you have to have before you think about what you are doing by NOT eating animal products. Ask yourself why you really are a vegan. Is it because you really think you will be healthier NOT eating good animal products OR are you a vegan because you want to save the lives of all living animals on the planet? Seriously think about it. There are soooo many people who have stopped the nonsense and began eating good animal products and most if not all of their ailaments, including eczema have dissappered. You can look up those youtube testemonials just like I do. Or you can continue living the emotional nonsense along with physical issues. Find the truth. I just told you most of your solutlion.

I had eczema since I was a baby, no amount of animal products (my family ate home cooked meals everyday, and we ate fish every day) healed my eczema. I’ve been vegan for 9 years and my eczema has gotten better because I’ve learned to manage it better. It has nothing to do with veganism.
@richienell
@richienell 2 года назад
@@Thevietvegan Veganism is totally eliminating animal products. I assure you, your human body just like everyone else needs saturated fats and animal protein to exist even close to optimally. I double dog dare you to look up the people who cured their eczema with animal product eating. I have a feeling you already have but are stuck on the emotional activist diet. Seriously I hope you find the answer like I have.

@@Thevietvegan Simple questions to think about...why do you identify yourself as a vegan, what's the point of that? Are you trying to fit in with some group? do you think vegainism is the healthiest for humans or are you a vegan because you are an animal rights activist?
@Thevietvegan
@Thevietvegan 2 года назад
Again I’ve had eczema since I was a baby and ate really healthfully because of my moms home cooking. I ate animals for 21 years and that didn’t heal my eczema (and neither did going vegan). If people could heal their eczema simply with their diet I doubt we’d have eczema sufferers at all.
