I used to have the concept of people who follow nirjal on every ekadashi are just trying to boast or its the matter of their own pride that they are following such a strict fast.. but u changed my conception altogether.. How simple it was to understand that it's the reciprocation of Krishna which empowers us in spiritual life and we can do very tough things easily.. On this ekadasi day today I pray to Ekadasi Devi that she may please empower me as well some day to do austerity like this only for Krishna's pleasure.. Thank you for sharing this.. Dandvat. I once fasted , it was not Ekadashi but I felt so much lighter and better after that, I was feeling full and bloated so I decided to fast half a day. Living in family situation here in Italy, noone know anything about Ekadashi, and it would be seen as something ver strange, so I never tried for now... Thank you for your Experience Mataji!
