-We have been Racing at Bandimere speedway for the last 30 + years . I’ve held so many races and been involved with so many teams . Everyone and the track staff have become like family. This will be the last Pfispeed /PSCA race at this facility.
-So many Racers showed up to rip with us one last time and i couldn’t be more grateful!

I just can't get over how chill Steven is. When he's driving, he is in a zone and doesn't seem to let the race get to him. If the car is healthy, that guy 9/10 gets the job done. Natural driver there.

Brent, I appreciate you as a fellow softie getting on in years. It's hard to tamp down those emotions and I often ask myself why I feel the need to try. It's not the fact that it's ending.... it's the fact that countless memories and experiences have been made and people have grown so much fromeverything that that track has given. There will be more memories and experiences made else where but we live in the moment. Cherish everything that teaches you something.

Thank you, Brent. I grew up watching nhra events going back to the mid 70's... We have a house full of drag race enthusiasts ranging from 10 to 67, and I must say all of us men were in tears the entire video. Congratulations to you and your son. I remember watching Shane teach Steven how to drive a manual. Thank you. 😢

Ive never had anything against Hondas but after watching Brent and the whole crew build and race them I gained a whole new prospective on Hondas and how versatile and rough driving you can do with them. Plus the power they can put down nowadays on those 4 cylinders is ridiculously amazing. Racing has definitely grown and we've become so much more knowledgeable about the cars and parts

It totally sucks that another track is closing.Thank God my local track New England Dragway in Epping NH got a large offer for their property this past year and they refused to sell, It's a beautiful facility that hosts a NHRA national every summer and it's 20mins from my house.While I'm not an import guy it is beyond impressive what you guys have done.I love PFI and never miss a new video❤

I'm proud of you, I know what it is like to have a last event somewhere. 😢 Brent as a father myself I commend you on the way that you have raised your children. And to your children specifically I say f****** let's go😂 keep this s*** alive brothers because we cannot let it die. F*** the EPA f*** the United States government and all their b******* and let's keep this sport alive because it is Saving Lives everyday and I swear to God the tracks are being shut down by payments from the government. When Cletus but DeSoto I swear to God I almost cried because I was there with my mother in the early 90s watching jet cars.... Info on the closure is pretty easy to find on google for those interested. Here is a snippet from a recent article. "The Bandimere family has operated the dragstrip on Thunder Mountain-nestled into the mountain in the Denver suburb of Morrison, Colo.-since 1958. They’re selling the property but plan to build a new, expansive dragstrip nearby. The aim is to welcome the NHRA back to the Denver market as early as 2025. John Bandimere Jr. said Wednesday that the current racetrack won’t become the site of a housing development but rather some sort of automotive-related endeavor."

@@DD-qw4pj that sux, I read the story and seems to be a trend across the country. Big Corp buys the land, rents it back to the raceway, then after a few years they are the agreement and kick out the the racers. I guess this wasn't the case with bandimere, but this is what happened to the track by me in slc utah a few years ago, same with Houston drag way and a ton of others.

What a bittersweet episode. The last Race on the Mountain at Bandimere Speedway! The race teams are all close knit and are some of the best sportsmen there are, holding no grudges, helping each other when needed and everyone having a great time racing! Best drag race track in America for all of the right reasons you could imagine and many you could have never thought possible. Thank you Bandimere track, family and all thoes who made it an amazing place, thanks for everything I never expected growing up near the track, thanks for the memories built on and off the track and the friends I will continue to know.The beauty, the competivie spirit, the many great memories and friendships made as well as the sound of cars reving to the limits and racing will forever ring legendary in those hills.
