Kathleen lights “dragged” me into perfume, I loved her so much that I watched her perfume video over and over again and buy every perfume she had mentioned. And now I love you ❤️
I wish I can have people like you in my life to just geek over perfumes. Everytime I talk about perfumes people look at me weird like I'm obsessive, which I am LOL
I am an avid perfume collector as well, and with the size of your collection you should consider getting a perfume dresser and saving all of the boxes, even the ones that are gifted to you. The boxes are a part of the value and keeping them in their original box in a cool and dry place will make them last longer.
I do not agree about the similarity between Mon Guerlain and Coco Mademoiselle. Coco is a much stronger fragrance with citrus notes in the beginning and earthy patchouli on the base with a monster sillage and very long lasting power. However, Mon Guerlain is a soft, delicate and clean scent with noticeable vanilla note to it. I would compare Mon Guerlain to Pi by Givenchy which is an unisex fragrance. By the way, your perfume collection is beautiful and very femenine, we have the same taste. Thank you for sharing 😚
Mon Guerlain is my signature scent for most of the year, and I cannot stand Coco Mademoiselle. I can only think that maybe the Lavender in the Mon Guerlain is making her think of the cologne (men's) vibe of Coco.
Have you tried any of the Dior Poison perfumes? I'm a big fan of those! My favorite is Pure Poison year round, but I love Hypnotic Poison EDT for winter!
I have to prove you wrong 😄 Boucheron was my signature scent when I was 19-22 years old and went clubbing 😄 I loooved it so much. I am 40 now, so maybe the scent world was different back then. In Europe (Denmark) where I am from. The funny thing is that today I would never wear it - now I think is smells like an “older” kind of fragrance - I didn’t think so back then. Funny how things and preferences can change. Loved this video so much. You have a beautiful collection and the presentation is so nice. I love perfume just like you and have a lot of the ones you have. I have around 130 bottles and always on the look out for new ones.
Thank you so much for sharing!! It is pretty amazing how scents change over the years and ones that were once popular no longer are and vice versa. Thanks so much for watching and for the comment I really appreciate it!! (:
OMGOSH😱! A perfume update i remember your very first video i loved it & im so glad to see this one!!! Yaaaay🙌 you did good girl adding to your amazing collection 👍tfs💕
I think the word you were looking for is "flanker" when describing variations of an original scent. Chanel's Gabrielle struck me as an ordinary department store fragrance. It's missing the specialness Chanel usually brings to its fragrances.
Wonderful collection!!!! I love perfume !!! I mean who doesn’t lol but for that same reason I only get 30 ml bottles so that I. An go through them quickly
I got the poudree. Another RU-vidr reviewed it and I bought it based on the description they gave but now as I'm smelling it it smells medicinal and painty.
By far the best in the high end stores I have all versions because I used to be a manager at Nordstrom so when it was on sale for 15 percent off plus my 40 percent ...I literally get the sets for 55...
Narciso Rodriguez EDT is mainly based on musk, which is the centre of the whole composition, there is patchouli in there too but has not the relevance that musc does. I liked the entire video though, very entertaining and informative. Keep it up girl 💕
I love this video, and when I want to just have a girly fragrance moment I grab a snack and tea and watch your reviews I love it. I’m a perfume junky. Thankyou. Keep it up
I love wearing perfume everyday. It makes me feel so cared for. You and I might have somewhat of a similar perfume taste, so I appreciate you showing perfumes that you would not wear, so I have an idea what to avioid. I buy a lot of my perfumes online, and knowing what not to buy is almost as important as knowing what to buy. I started watching this video a few days ago, and could not finish that day, and I came back to it. I bought me a few perfumes last night after your recommendations. I will now go watch your 1st perfume video.
Thanks so much for watching I'm glad you found value out of it. This is why I think it's important to include scents I don't like in my collection so I can help those that buy online! xo
I like everything about Chloe. It is such a beautiful woman scent. To me...that means when u put it on, u just feel beautiful all day. It last long too.
I luv ur fragrance video luv ur honesty not everyone will agree but that’s ok it’s called life keep giving us ur opinions the positive out ways the negative GREAT JOB JESSICA 💚💁🏽♀️🙌🏽💃🏽
Hi Jessica! I'm new here and your collection blows me away!! I'm also obsessed with fragrance and have a BIG question : can you tell me, please, how do you keep your '' babys''😁. And how long years you already have them. Didn't they go bed or so???? I'm really scary about it, becouse i don't want that my' 'babys'' go bad before I can use them. Thx for your answer
Bright crystal absolu lasts all day and night on me. I never thought it would be a fragrance dna I would go for, but when I went to Sephora for a new perfume it was the only one that I tested that I could not walk away from.
I used to have dolce and gabbana the one edp and didn’t love it but I recently bought the Eau de Toilette at winners for 32$ couldn’t believe it and I have to say it’s amazing! I prefer it over the edp!!!!
I love your videos and yes you did correct yourself with asterisks. 😂😂. It’s all good. I was wondering, Do you ever declutter? And do you ever trade or sale fragrances? Please let me know. Keep the videos coming.
I love your perfume collection! Goals ❤ The sound was off in the latter part of the video but i still watched since i like your succinct descriptions. I can always look up the notes. No biggie 😊 Also the amount of negativity in the comment section surprises me. Y'all are pressed at her for not making politically correct statements about age, about her not mentioning the notes, and this that and the other. If you are the mature one, you can politely point out the ageism in the video. Or ignore it cause the rest of the World isn't obligated to behave as you wish. She is just 24 for God's sake! Also she had kept mentioning how the video would be over 3 hours long if she was any more descriptive. Clearly you don't understand how tiring it is for content creators to sit and shoot for more than 1 hour. Please give your critique in a healthy, constructive manner. This isn't a reflection on her as a video creator. It reflects your immaturity as an audience. Being nice is a choice. Practice kindness. It's a virtue.
Thanks so much I really appreciate this! I try my best on all of my videos to be polite and honest... unfortunately I've received A LOT of negative comments on this video.
Thanks Aindrila, for bringing such a kind perspective! My next birthday is the big 5-0; I wasn't offended. I also didn't fall down the fragrance rabbit hole until I was well into my 40's. There aren't many designer frags in my collection... yet. I knew someone who used to use a lot of Eternity and I still can't be around it. I own and wear Shalimar EDP {only in the winter and only one spray) myself. I've been considering picking up the Versace Crystal Noir and the Narciso EDT. I watch and enjoy content from creators of varied backgrounds and all walks of life. If there's an audio glitch or if I don't have headphones or earbuds and need to be considerately quiet, I just click on the closed captioning or hit the transcript button. Pas de probleme!
Why would you keep a perfume you know you would never wear? It's such a waste. Sell it or give it away. Of course, that's just my opinion. Thanks for sharing, I love perfume collection videos.
@@leslieyoung8949 This is the only one of Jessica's videos I've watched, but it sounds like she is a perfume saleswoman at a department store. She said she has worked in the fragrance industry for the past 5 years, and the fact that every one of these, except for the FragranceNet exclusive Simply Belle, is a department store fragrance suggests that she works at one. (Maybe she works for FragranceNet, I don't know.) I guess the purpose of these videos is not just to share, but to sell, but unless people are buying from her directly, how can she earn commission?
I didn't buy any of these perfumes. They were all sent to me! And I keep them to make reviews this large so people can choose what they like. And I do give them away. Follow me on Instagram @jesschristinex3 and be a winner like others were!
It's funny cause I love Joy, it's not soft on my skin and it lasts for me. Perfumes usually turn powdery on me anyway and I love powdery fragrances. Also my Mom's name is Joy.
Thanks so so much for making this video!!!! I’m literally obsessed with perfume ❤︎ I watched your first perfume collection video and I really really, really enjoyed watching it too!!! I love your way of describing perfumes so so sooooo much! ❤️ I’m looking forward to watching your perfume collection video in the future 💖💖 My favorite perfume is Gucci 2 because of Katherinelights 😆 I think it’s sooo unique and just so beautiful!!!!! Thanks again and I love your perfume collection SO MUCH!!! ❤️❤️
Will you consider getting into niche? There are amazing fragrances there too. I totally understand what you say about eternity . And seems to me that all of those old fragrances last like 3 days WHAT the hell, why it has to be different with the new generations ones 😣
I gave one of my Angel perfumes to my daughter and she’s 30 and loves it. For now, it’s her signature. I love it! When I was younger, I didn’t appreciate it and didn’t understand the scent, but now.... wow!!!!
I love them all, Jessica!!! Thank you for this second installment of your fragrance review. Watching this THANKSGIVING DAY... so Happy Thanksgiving to you! 💋💋💋
I recently purchased a Dolce & Gabanna set that had both the edp and edt versions of The One. For me personally, I feel like I pick up a lot more of the White Lilly and Lily of the Valley notes in the EDT. On me the EDP smells warmer than the EDT. I prefer the EDP and my mom prefers the EDT.
Wow you have such an amazing collection love it!! Just bought the new Gucci Guilty, Dylan Blue & Chanel Gabriel this week during the Macy’s sale🙈 also really want to get Tom Ford Mandarino D&G The Only One next! Lol
Jessica. Tiffany and Co. Intense smells absolutely amazing. I personally do not like Tiffany and Co. but the intense version had me hooked at the first note.
Hi,I just found you now on RU-vid and I'm already in love whit your videos!! You are so good in describing fragrances !! I describe myself a "parfumoholic" :))) so I would love to come and buy fragrances from you!! You are amazing, you made my day!!! Best of luck and bless you!!!❤
I'm a newbie to fragrances but I know what notes I like. Based on the following favourite notes, which fragrance would you recommend for me under 150$? ------------------------------ *FAVOURITE NOTES* Fruits | apricot, peach, berries (raspberry, strawberry, black/red berries, ...), cherry, pear Flowers | jasmine, rose, orange blossom Sweets & gourmands | caramel, cream, strawberry syrup Animalic | amber, musk
That's an impressive collection of perfumes. I would like to know how long the Dolce and Gabbana one and only perfume lasts. I have the same perfume and it doesn't last long .
"The One" by Dolce&Gabbana is an Oriental Floral fragrance for women. The One was launched in 2006. There is also a great men's version (s) of "The One". "The Only One" for women however, was released in 2018... not 2019
I blind bought that Jessica McClintock and wow! so elegant and feminine. Think Church perfume. either to get married, to go to a baptism, to go receive an award at your job. It screams I am a fine lady. thank you so much.
Love thisss, can you also please share some tips on how to travel with perfumes? Is it okay to put perfume on a luggage cause ive heard that perfumes need to be stored upright in room temp 💕
Hi Jessica ! Did you get all of these perfumes while working in the industry ? Did you get a good discount ? I’d love to have an amazing collection like yours but it’s such an expensive hobbie for me . I love it so much though... Any tips on how to build a collection ? ❤️
Aren’t you afraid of your perfumes going bad before you can get even a tenth of the bottle used? Like I have quite a bit of perfumes and it’s something that I’m so worried about so I try my best to control myself lol
I know where you're coming from. I've only ever had Coolwater go bad..not once but twice! It may be a specific ingredient which deteriorates faster than other- I've heard that vanilla can sometimes do that x
Girl you have Soo many perfumes. What do you intend to do with the ones you don't wear at all? I would love to have the Shalimar and opium Belle. Can pay for shipping.
Great video. Makes one very jealous and wishing they worked in the fragrance world. LOL I have to say Mon Guerlain is probably my signature scent for fall/winter and beginning of spring. That being said I hate Coco Mademoiselle....LOL. I just think us fragrance lovers have such different noses and chemistry to go along with it.
I might be the only one but I think the dolce and Gabbana rose smells like the Dior blooming bouquet... let me know what you think I also think the arianna grande “sweet like candy” is similar to the viktor and Rolf bon bon only not as strong.
Reece 20 there’s tons of fragrances I think smell like other and people disagree so I say no one is right or wrong it’s all about preference and everyone is different (: thanks for watching💕
Great videos, in the 1st video you mentioned Calvin Klein , endless euphoria, I've been debating whether to get it because I thought it would be too much like the original euphoria which I don't like. I am thinking of purchasing it now :)
Sher Collins I don’t like original euphoria either. Endless euphoria is seriously SO pretty and lighter. Especially this time of year. Thanks for watching💕
Hi Jessica I have just stumbled across your videos and love what you are saying - I'm always looking out for new types of perfumes. Can I suggest a few to you? I don't know if you have heard of the Spanish designer Adolfo Dominguez? He also does a range of perfumes which are really nice - very fresh for warm countries - my fav is agua de azahar, but there are lots of others. These are very popular with Spanish people - very, very fresh. Cartier also do amazing perfumes - very unique, quite pricey but different n very long lasting (Panthère, Délices, eg). Will look 4ward to seeing more if your reviews xx
Can I wear a much heavier scent when it’s humid outside? I feel that u should because ppl body scent seem to smell more the hotter it is outside. I’m one that I can’t smell ppl real body Oder . I get so nauseous. I just like smelling good all the time. And look at u with Boucheron perfume . It’s a pretty scent. I discovered it at my older age by watching utube. Lol
Hey Jessica. The Dolce and Gabbana perfume is THE ONLY ONE. You keep saying The One. I have this fragrance and have you tried The Only One 2? I have The Only One 2 also. I have 110 bottles of perfume in my collection and I just picked up TODAY, Tiffany and Co.Intense. It is amazing. How many bottles do you actually have in your collection?
You say you’ve “worked in the industry for years” but you’re horrible at describing fragrances. You never talk about the notes, all you say is “it smells so good” lol wtf?
I was wondering the same thing. However, many perfume sales people have no clue...sadly. I am not sure why stores do not require more fragrance knowledge. Probably because the salary doesn't match the experience and skill.
That’s what happens when you have such a large collection! & also I am always spraying different fragrances when I am at work on me since I am around them all the time! Xo
I can tell we have different taste because that Michael kors stunk to me, I tried it, just smelled to me like my grandma would not even wear that because she wouldn't want to smell like an old lady. I wouldn't waste money it probably just get a second bottle of one that I really love
Narciso Rodriguez for her is my absolutely favourite for...... guess what? work! (I am a doctor) Therefore I do not agree at all on it being strong. I do not have a collection of scents. I have scents to work in different environments. Eternity at the gym. Black Orchid at night. Chance in the summer. On a winter day La vie est belle! NOW THAT IS A VERY STRONG SCENT. The only one that I need to think about before using as the vanilla is so strong! But I am not a big fan of the vanilla sillage.
the one Edp and Edt i feel like EDT is aloooot sweeter and stronger edp has a deeper smell but they both smell similar lol if that makes sence, i also have both aswel. i wore Edt for afew weeks and switched back to Edp and i could smell the difference lol
Thank you so much for sharing! I love watching videos like this, because although I love perfume, I don't want to spend my money buying tons of fragrances that smell similar. My goal is to have a nice and diverse collection, that gives me options to choose from...but I'd hate it if I bought several fragrances that smelled almost identical. I want to be smart about my purchases.
The base of NR perfumes is musk :) And I definitely cannot say that “Her” is as strong as you describe it, there are million mainstream designer fragrances that are by all means waaaay much stronger) Say, try Mancera or Montale - try to keep alive :))
