Love your collection. I've been collecting since I was in the 7the grade which was in the late 70's I still have my stewardess and my dinky bags. My last purchase was last month I got the snake Parker. Love it. Thanks for sharing.
I don’t remember the stewardess bag but I’ve always loved the Dinkys. That’s so great that you kept them! I’ve had my eye on a Parker bag. The snakeskin one is gorgeous. You’ve got great taste! Thanks for watching!!
I really enjoyed watching your video. I’m also a Coach handbag collector. It’s so nice to see how the Coach handbag styles changed over the years. Thank you so much for sharing! I just subscribed to your channel! :-)
I love you Coach Collection. 💖💕 All your bags are chic and classic. I love their hobo bags. After viewing your bags, I wish I had kept my Coach Signature bags😔. I only have one now that I got from the outlet. Ok, this is another " I wish I had of purchase".......... I wish I had got something from Legacy line😩. Regret getting rid of my older Coach handbags. ....I think the oldest bag I have is from 2007 or 2008. I didn't count the bags.....my focus was on each bag and the story you had for each😊. Coach is definitely a favorite. Love, love this video! Super Job!
Thank you!! I had so much fun making this video and it’s inspired me to carry several of them again that I hadn’t carried in a while! But I’m definitely a hoarder. It’s hard for me to part with things. 😊 Thanks for watching!!
This is amazing! There’s one small vintage underarm blade bag with gorgeous details on either side. That one is my favourite! I wonder if I could find it on the prelove market like rebar perhaps? Thank you so much for your in-depth videos. So much fun to watch. ❤
Aww, thank you! I’m so glad you enjoyed. It was a fun video to make so I could reminisce. Good luck on your pre-love search! I find the thrill of the hunt to be a lot of fun!!
One of the things I love about Coach is how their styles evolve. I may not always love their current style, but I know they will design something I love again soon! Thanks for watching!!
I, too, keep coming back to Coach. I didn't like their big logos, but I love their new bags and SLGs. I went crazy during the second most recent Coach Outlet sale.
I think that’s a sign of a great company...one that can change with the times and sustain some failed efforts. I think Coach has proven that over time they have more hits than misses! Glad to hear you agree with me on their new bags and SLGs! Thanks for watching!
I know! It was fun pulling them all out for the video. I’ve found myself wearing several of them again that I hadn’t worn in years including that first bag. I’m so glad the quality held up. Thanks for watching!!
What a fun trip down memory lane! I remember some of these styles as I was a Coach fanatic at one time lol. I remember getting my first Coach bag and thinking I was so fancy lol. Now I'll carry a Tori Burch or Rebecca Minkoff one day and a Target bag the next. There was a time where I would only buy designer bags, but now I don't care. As long as it's functional and fashionable I'll buy it! I loved your collection. Very beautiful bags!
Thanks for the feedback! I had fun with my trip down memory lane too. I have to say that nowadays I agree with you...I’m much less concerned with the name on the bag than the looks and usefulness. But I always revisit Coach because they just match my style! Thanks so much for watching!
You have a beautiful Coach handbag collection. I have recently rediscover Coach and have purchased many handbags during the last year....enjoy and tfs xoxo
@@themadeupokie Yes I've been enjoying mine as well. I purchased a vintage Coach today. I'm excited to get it. I've been thinking about doing a video and sharing mine :)
Hi. I'm new to your channel. I really enjoyed seeing your COACH handbag collection. You have nice pieces in your collection. My fav the hologram market tote. I wouldn't mind owning one myself lol. That said, on to my history with COACH. As a teen in 1980's, I remember women carrying as many COACH handbags as LV, GUCCI, and FENDI. That is some classy company to keep lol. The reason COACH was able to hang with the best of them is due to the exceptional leather quality of their handbags. It was superb! Sadly, I sold most of my vintage COACH handbags in the early 2000's. However, I still own one vintage Bonnie Cashin navy shoulder bag. I took it to the COACH store recently to be conditioned. The COACH rep cannot believe how beautifully the handbag is holding up after 30 years. The superb quality of the vintage COACH leathers is in a class all it's own. Looking at the new COACH handbag line under Stuart Vevers direction, I see the same superb quality designs the House of COACH build its strong name since the start. Making the new generation of COACH leather goods an amazing buy for the quality received. I applaud COACH for turning things around and I'm looking forward to adding new COACH pieces to my collection this year. Thx for sharing. Subscribing to your channel now. Have a nice night :D
Thanks so much for your comment and sharing your own personal Coach history! I love that you still have at least one of your Bonnie Cashin bags. I completely agree about the journey Coach has been on in terms of their quality. It will be interesting to see if the 1941 line has the longevity of the originals. Thanks so much for watching!!
What an amazing video! So well put together. I would love to work in the fashion industry, but I am currently in dental hygiene school. Maybe someday when I retire I'll work at a Coach store! Lol
Good luck in dental hygiene school! That sounds like a solid career path. I hope to retire and work at Coach again someday too!! Thanks for watching!! 😊
Ash I was a Retail Merchandising student for two years. I decided to switch my major because of the way the school was teaching Fashion. What I learned is that although the education was very goo, anything is possible if you put your mind to it. Exploring videos such as this one is good because it helps you determine what do you like. Although I didn’t receive my bachelors as a Fashion Student all those years of experience and my business background can help me too. So don’t give up. You can always do a side job if that’s possible. However, if you are seriously considering your current occupation I want to let you know that starting out on Fashion is not glamorous. It’s a lot of work with keeping up the store, catering to customers, and other things. However it really depends where you work of course. Since Coach is a luxury brand things might a little different from the usual retail store. Don’t let these things keep you discouraged it will give you much experience and once you look back you’ll be grateful.
Great video! I was considering doing a video like this on my Coach collection and wanted to see what other videos like this were out there and found yours, really great with the little history details along the way! I also don't know the exact number of bags in my collection lol!
Let me know if you post one. I’d love to see it if you do! I did find it daunting to make this video. Lots of prep, tons of work to film and then edit. But it was totally worth it! It helped me rediscover some of my bags that I hadn’t worn in a while and I’ve started carrying a lot of them again. Thanks for watching!!
Thank you for the feedback! I was just reorganizing my shoes this weekend, reminiscing about some of my very old (but near pristine) Coach shoes! ❤️ Cheers!
Great video. I have a vintage Coach bag from a consignment shop that I am restoring. May I ask where you found those stunning amethyst Crystal's in the background? I would love those and other than Home Goods I can't find affordable crystals. They are gorgeous.
Thanks for the feedback! I bought both my amethyst cathedral and rose quartz from a vendor at the Round Top Antique Show a couple of years ago. They were really good deals and I’m always on the lookout for more. I’ve heard that Home Goods has great crystals, but I’ve never been. Wish I had one near me. Enjoy your vintage Coach! Cheers!
Looooove the history details you provided. Your collection is beautiful. What are your thoughts on the new Coach 1941 line? I would love to hear your thoughts on this new Coach territory. TFS! New subbie!
Thanks for the feedback! There’s a lot I like about the 1941 line. However, I’m sometimes surprised by the prices. They seem more expensive compared to comparable non-1941 line bags. I still think of Coach as that “affordable luxury” brand, so price comparability is forefront in my mind. But otherwise, I love the styles, quality and materials. Thanks for subbing! I’ve checked out your channel too. Glad to see we share a passion!
18:35 love that bag! I have it in black leather and it's one of my favourites :) I think it was called East-West duffel bag (model #1417). The one after it (8A14, small Soho hobo bag) is very similar to my 8A01, except yours has a different strap design and is suede (mine is black leather). I love both though :) 20:00 that looks like the one I have (style #10477) which is a gorgeous brown. Such a beautiful bag! I like yours better in black though. I was told outlet bags do have "F" in their style number. I don't like them, as I suspect that the ones made specifically for the outlet are made with a poor quality leather. I wouldn't buy them again.
Sounds like you’ve got a great Coach collection! And that we share similar taste! It’s always fun to find someone else that shares my passion. 😊 I’m definitely picky about what bags I’ll buy at outlet. I agree that many of the bags are a lesser quality. I think you can still find the occasional full price style though, but I’ve not shopped in the outlet in a while. I don’t have one anywhere near me. Thanks for watching and sharing your thoughts!!
Wow!!!Amazing collection!I came across this video because i purchased a Coach wrislet at a thrift store and i would like to know what year it was made in i don't know if somebody could help me...It is just a plain white leather wristlet with a silver zipper but there is no leather stamps inside and in the front there is a little silver button that says Coach since 1941,the inside is just plain black fabric and there is the little chain with coach logo(like all of there bags). The little stap to put on your wrist is brown leather.Anyway if somebody has some info i would appreciate! Thanks😘
Hi! No bag organizer. But I do use SLGs to compartmentalize my belongings. I typically have 3 different smaller bags within my totes (less if I have a bag with a center zip compartment). Thanks for watching and thanks for your comments! Hope you score some great deals at the outlet next time you go! I’ll be going in a couple of months myself so stay tuned if you want to see what I purchase!
Thank you! This is one of the bags that has seen more wear since I made the video and reminded myself of some of my bags. It doesn’t hurt that the hobo shape is becoming more popular again either! Thanks for watching!!
It’s a hard decision to make...whether to keep or sell older bags. Because I have such great memories of Coach, I’ve always kept mine, but have definitely sold other breads and sometimes have regrets. 😔 Glad you kept your Legacy bags! Thanks for watching!
