Favorite powder: Nars illicit, cream: melt cream blushes Lynx and Sandy cheeks, liquid: not really a fan of liquid but flower beauty nectar. I prefer my fingers for cream and liquid and my powder brush is a random one from Marshall’s lol
A Jessica Braun declutter?! A Jessica Braun BLUSH declutter?!?! THE standard of declutter videos on RU-vid! An OG Beauty RU-vidr that not only remains relevant but keeps putting out interesting content that we all love!
Currently sitting in Yellowstone outside of my trailer, have you on low volume and I’m listening to the wind and wild ones. Love this vibe I want everyone to feel it
Jess, I have been with you from the start of your channel. I never comment on vids but I wanted to let you know I have bought so many of your recommendations over the years. I know I can get an honest review and not waste my money. I seriously LOVE you lady - your heart shines 💕. I am so glad to have found your videos again recently . It’s like coming home to an old friend, chatting over a nice cup of tea, and getting cozy under a weighted blanket. Never change my love and please stay with doing declutters (my favvv) THANK YOU for being a consistent light in my life 🫶🥹
You know Jess, years ago you are who inspired me to start decluttering. Back in 2014 i used to keep EVERYTHING for YEARS.I mean absolutely everything from sub boxes, to purchases. Even samples. I would just throw away a few handfuls here and there when they smelled weird etc. And then you inspired me to only keep what i’ll actually use, brings joy to me, products i love and declutter before things expire so someone else can love them. I buy TONS of makeup and to some that may be a waste of money but it’s the only addiction i have. Literally 😂. So one year i went through and decluttered before things expired, even though i spent so much money on them. I went to CA with this HUGE box of stuff i decluttered/a few Pr items i knew i wasn’t going to use and gave it to my cousins. Seeing their faces, like little kids opening xmas gifts just made me feel so good. So now for the past 3 years i’ve been doing this. I’m also more cautious with what i buy now. Went from collecting 200+ eyeshadow palettes to now only keeping like 15. (That’s counting my little quads too). 😊
it’s interesting to see Jessica’s color tone change over the years. In the early days she never would have such a bright pink blush collection. It was all about the neutral and bronzy tones. And that was if she wore blush at all, cause it was like highlight now that she rarely uses. And she wasn’t a fan of cream & liquid blush. It just goes to show everyone changes over the years with their likes and dislikes.
I used to wear makeup all day everyday and never took it off unless I was showering. Noy even at night I liked bright colors and glitter but now I prefer more subtle neutrals and more satin to shimmery shades. Mauve, light browns and peach tones are my go to colors. I also used to only wear foundation and powder but now I wear concealer, powder, blush and highlighter if I wear makeup but I rarely do now
I don’t know about Jess, but I started liking dewy and cream blushes once I reached a certain age. Powders started not being as flattering with fine lines, and dewy ones give a little more of a youthful glow :)
This feels like we're are back to the old-school brutal Jessie declutters from about 5/6 years ago, and I'm loving it. Please say there's more videos of different categories to come?! X
I think I found you from yours and Tyler’s wedding, then found your Disney videos and makeup content. ❤ your channel got me through a lot during my apartment days when I was alone and in college, while my now-husband was stationed in Texas. I was tickled to find y’all’s Disney content and Tyler’s channel too bc we both love the parks and traveling; we are headed to Tokyo Disneyland next month! My off days typically consist of always catching up on y’all’s uploads while I do housework, and the podcast is life as a long-distance Disney lover for sure. 😊 We are for sure our own worst critic, but you are doing a great job!
I’m over here with my 5 blushes 😅 but honestly I love blush and I enjoy these videos so much. I’m sure I’ll be adding some to my wishlist based on your recommendations.
I have a sick obsession with beigey, neutral, brownie blush shades and I can’t help myself! I’ve got my eye on Fresco and some liquid blushes from Simihaze (at Sephora)… I wish they made more neutral “barely there” blushes cuz I can’t pull off pink to save my life! Love hangin with you doll 💜
I recently bought that RT brush for cream blush. I tried so many and never felt like the blush applied nicely. I agree 100% that this brush makes all the difference!
I agree with you that the Givenchy blush is pretty interesting because it's so different from the regular potted blushes. Personally I have used and stand by the Essence Cosmetics blushes, especially the matt ones, they're very long lasting and have soo many colors to choose from.
My favorite cream blush is colourpop birthday suit. I've only ever tried a couple colourpop ones and some fenty beauty ones. Really like the fenty ones too but cp birthday suit is just so perfect, I basically used it all up 😍
I LOVE this blush trio palette I found at Target a few months ago - it’s Jason Wu’s Beautiful Earthling blush palette. I just randomly saw it and decided to try it - it’s so nice!
I'd really love to see all the shades swatched Kackie style!! Showing them all really shows off the similarities and differences. I do it with my products regularly to evaluate my own hoard 😂
I am a blush person more than anything for sure! Loving this declutter! I have given away most of my powder blushes as I have dry skin so I don’t use them except for a quick touch up when I’m in a humid climate on vacay. My fav cream blushes are rose inc in many colors but foxglove and azalea are favs, makeup by mario in rose crush, Patrick ta duos in all the colors but fav is she’s flushing, persona stick, and tower 2; liquids I also love - rare beauty in several colors (I have most of them and love to mix), charlotte tilbury pinkgasm and the new matte ones, ‘‘em cosmetics, saie liquids. I’m sure I’ve forgotten some. I am a blush hoarder clearly! All the above have good lasting pier as well.
Jessica! I needed to buy a new blush last week and I went to your last blush declutter video from a year ago to get suggestions. If I had only waited a week, you knew exactly the video I needed!
I will always have the Tarte amazonian clay blush in natural beauty. But I recently picked up another Revlon powder blush in tickled pink. That was the first blush that got me into blush, and maybe 15 years later the shade is still perfect with my complexion. Still haven't found a cream or liquid I care about.
My favorite cream blushes are currently in stick form: I am torn between the Ami Cole in Dune and the Anastasia blush stick in Latte. I apply them with a brush, not swiped on my face directly and they blend out so beautifully!!! The elf cream blushes (luminous finish) are surprisingly good!
powder - I have fresco, got it under your recommendation, love it! Cream - honest beauty 🥰 stick - milk makeup in werk. I also like daniel sandler angel as a liquid one. 😅
Love this video!! My favorite cream blush is definitely the cream in the Patrick Ta blush duos. Liquid blush favorite is Rare Beauty (I wish it was a smaller size though).
You need to try the Clinique cheek pop blushes!! Ginger pop, fig pop, etc. I think you’d love those shades. Also the new Armani blushes have become my fav and in my everyday drawer. Love watching these videos. I’m blush and bronzer o sensed haha😅
As always love your declutter videos. I am still so much in love with the rare beauty blushes, for powder I still love the elf primer infused blush in spice
Currently I'm ALMOST done using up my honest creme blush in rose pink. Im then going to move on to trying to use up my em cosmetics liquid blush drops in venetian rose because they're both certainly past their expiration but I want to use them up. My favorite powder blush is the persona blush in Carmel that you delcuttered! I find it to be longwearing and would want to get more persona powder blushes once I work through some more of my collection.
I love the idea of this video! My favorites are: CT Cheek to Chic powder blush in Walk of No Shame, Merit Flush Balm Cream Blush (any shade!), and Rare Beauty’s Soft Pinch Liquid Blush (any shade too)! I love Rare Beauty’s blush brush, it’s perfect for applying creams and liquids :)
I love the elf blush that you put in the maybes pile for an eyeshadow. I also added the favorite colour pop blush to my cart. I have a horrible time wanting to use cream or liquid powders. I have a few but none that I love yet….
Try the Jones Road bronzer as a bronzer, I love it as a bronzer and great as an easy eyeshadow. My favorite cream is Chantecaille in vibrant and the Givenchy is my favorite powder too!
Yes my favorite blush brush is the BK Beauty 111. I also like the Sonia Kashuk one with the teal handles. I only have two blushes and theyre both powder. One is Bare Minerals and the other is Laura Mercier. I need more blushes and you definitely made me want more
Just picked up 3 of the JCat mallow blushes. They look deep in the pan but it goes on a lot lighter. Picked up Seeet and Chic, Thank you berry much and Cherry Limeade (forbtte cold girl look in the winter). They’re beautiful 😍
I noticed yesterday before going to bed that there was a new upload but I wanted to wait till this morning to watch it so that I could enjoy my morning coffee with you ❤🎉
Favorite powder blush rosy rosewood essence pure nude blush, cream lys in kindness and empower, liquid makeup revolution super dewy liquid blush you got me blushing
I feel like you’re my blush sister! Every color/formula you like always works perfectly for me! My favorite cream blush right now is Melt cosmetics golden hour and lynx.
Fav cream blush: the elf luminous putty blush in bremuda! There's something about the shade that is really great for my coloring, it lasts so well, and it reads more glowy-satin than shimmery!
I’m obsessed with the Patrick Ta cream blush in She’s Blushing. Comes with a powder too. But the cream is amazing. Stays on and a dream to blend. Perfect rose nude color for me. Like my natural blushing color. So good!
For cream blush I cannot recommend the ulta beauty brand blush beam cream blush (I have shade flamingo flock) enough!!! I never buy ulta brand makeup so I was skeptical but it is absolutely beautiful and has quickly become my favorite cream blush. It has a beautiful glow to it but no visible glitter and it’s a pretty pinky peachy shade, similar to Milani luminoso which is my favorite powder blush of all time. I think you’ll be shocked at how good it is and if not hey it was only $12 lol
Love my Lancome blush in Cedar Rose it’s the perfect bronzy rosy peachy gorgeousness I had a sample forever and finally finished it and bought a big one 🤣 love hourglass’s gorgeous!!!!! I need a pink blush 🤍🤍🤍
Jess, don't get rid of Essence Golden Cassis! So few in that color range. I love it! My fav powder is Elf Primer Infused Shimmer Blush in Always Hazy (discontinued but I have back ups). Cream is Florence By Mills in Zen Z (also discontinued & also have back ups)! Use an Eco Tools blush brush for powder & the Elf Putty brush for my cream products.
The Buxom blush that’s in your “maybe” pile is a beautiful blush topper. I wouldn’t get rid of it. Of course, I don’t have near the amount of blushes that you have!
Oh my word! This video made my day! After years of only wearing bronzer, I have recently awaken to using blush. Essence has some of the most gorgeous shades I have ever worn, and they can be blended together to form shades similar to high dollar blushes. I have also come to love Beauty essentials, silky, luminous blush, and my favorite shade is punchy coral. Milani blushes are such beautiful, blended shades. Love! Have you ever tried the Tarte energy 12 hour blush that changes to adjust to your skin tone? It is amazing! When I first looked at it, I thought there was no way you would catch me wearing something that bright. However, when I swatched it the first time on the back of my hand, I could not believe how it changed color and looked so attractive. I have one new cream blush from LYS in self love I am trying. Taking a while to win me over. Looking for a nice shade to wear when using the purple 6 pan Essence eyeshadows. Suggestion?
The essence blush she decluttered in golden cassis is really pretty with the purple 6 pan Essence palette, I often combine purple tones with that one. It IS a little deeper, but if you don't go to town with it, but tap off the brush it's really beautiful. Also Physician's formula butter blush in Plum Rose is really pretty and much more forgiving with a heavy hand.
@@naamahnotorious955oh my gosh! I just ordered that Essence blush this past weekend, hoping it would work with the purple palette. Cannot wait for it to arrive!!
