Im in 3B civil engineering in UWaterloo as well and honestly, i just wanna kms everyday during a study term. Different from your times, UWaterloo gives you a fucked up amount of work throughout the term now, distributing the weightings of evaluations pretty much evenly for the four months. While it's good that theres no stress for finals, you just get bombarded with assignments and quizzes that are worth around ~20% every week....HELP.

@@TamerShaheen and yeah actually engineering can be done in 3 layers .. lower class engineering . Middleclass ... Higher class.. you have mentioned the third one in the video, the one with brilliant internship ,programmes etc and it worth every penny ... I went the first one that have no good internship , no programmes , only aim is to learn subjects that the teachers themselves don't know why we learn these stuffs...and after the course the companies rejected the job application with the reason of job experience and skills... I know engineering can be stressful, but your life is more important than the degree. If ur feeling immense pressure, consider talking to ur professor or ur peers/friends as they can relate most to u. If there’s still a lot of pressure on u, u can consider taking some time off from engineering to reset.

When I entered first year, I was stressed out that I could fail out of the term...so I would study all day so I could hopefully be able to stay in the program. What I did back then was not the best strategy, but it kinda helped me transition. In ur first year, I def recommend that u meet lots of ppl, ask questions whenever ur confused and don’t expect to be able to get high 90s in university.
