Nice, diverse collection! It's nice to see a more realistic beginning collection. I get sick of watching these creators who have nothing but $600+ customs & bash on everything else. More will be added over the years ! I still have my first/earlier knives as well ! Keep up the cool content!
All I have are cheap knives, except my Buck 110, and I got that for 35.00 new. I have a bunch of Ozark Trails. I used to find them year end for 1.00 -2.50. Lol. That’s how I started buying knives. I just look at the damned things and open and close of cours, and I cut frozen pizza, and open packages, occasionally a finger.
That works for me! Most of us collectors don't really even use our knives enough to the point that we'd really require a higher quality steel for our cutting edges, anyway. We carry them, open and close them out of boredom or for amusement, and occasionally cut open a package or some plastic wrap.
Not a chance. It's Chinese made, probably 3cr. I've seen them with wood, plastic and aluminum scales; branded S&W, Winchester and probably a half dozen others. That's not meant to knock the uploaders appreciation of the knife at all.
So if the MTec's, the Is Osark Trail and the wooden Cabela's are not the forgettable knives thrown in your cars then I gotta wonder what beauties you got in your vehicles lol??
"Corrosion resistant" is a relative term, but if you were to ask me, yes, its blade has a stonewashed finish which is very good for rust-resistance and the AUS10 steel it's made of it moderately rust-resistant as well.
