Fun title. You are in the top tier of content creators on the web, and you move fast in your reviews honing in on the features we hobbyists enjoy. Your suite of aircraft closely matches mine, though you tend to buy aircraft ahead of me, which is cool as well because usually they are new ones that catch my eye. Happy flying, and I am so glad people like you anticipate what community members want to see especially Xbox users who see fewer reviews, naturally, than PC users. Even when you are critical, I feel developers who listen appreciate your honesty because you are not a 'nut and bolt' counter and have gotten many undecided to purchase aircraft like the fantastic French seaplane recently released. I love the F14, which I will close with--who cannot appreciate a swing wing aircraft. On my carrier takeoffs, I always set up a 30 knot headwind to aid the takeoff, as carriers try to turn into the wind to slow takeoff and landing speeds. The Embraer is great--you always mention the price point, which people overlook. With all the videos u share, when do u ever have time to fly, lol? Dude--just kidding. My house cat Rosie interferes with my flight, always jumping on my lap during final approach. If I leave my 'flight deck' unattended on a long flight (when u gotta eat, u gotta eat) I must remember to turn my keyboard off or my cat will always find a way to crash my ride. Longest flight I ever had on the Xbox was a 33 hour recreation of the flight of the Spirit of St. Louis, I do not know how Charles Lindburgh managed that flight alone, almost exactly 50 years before I first crossed the pond.
Nice video! I'm definitely going to take notes. A plane I'd recommend is the Sim Skunk Works F-104 Starfighters, one of my favourite fighter jets. Flies nicely and the sounds are pretty good. I'm more of an airliner guy but the 104 is lovely. I'm glad you like the PC-21! As a Swiss I'm really proud of the plane. I saw it at an airshow and it blew me away. Brutal! Quick tip, Pilatus is usually pronounced (I'll try, sorry about it lol) Pee-lah-tus. Meh, nevermind. Thanks for the hangar review!
Keep going up in my estimations mate. I’m a study level simmer but I enjoy your videos because you just talk straight about performance and value for money
Our hangars are very, very similar down to the same Captian Sim models we chose for the 777 and 767. Since you have all the "must have" planes, you should go ahead and try the Fouga CM-170. It is decent and does not feel cheap like mscenery products (I was really disappointed with their a-10 and b-52). I just picked up the cm-170 because I had to have something new since I have just about everything else and I was getting irritated waiting for dc designs F4, I know you understand lol it's been fun watching some actual airshows videos of the cm-170 on RU-vid and then flying it in the sim. Obviously there's so many great planes out there and this isn't the best but I felt you would definitely enjoy something different and something you don't have. The mig-21 is another one you may like, it's definitely better than mscenery and has some cool liveries
I have a flight challenge for you that you will absolutely LOVE. Take off out of KPGA in the Corsair and fly over the Glen Canyon Dam. Drop down into the canyon and get as low to the water as you can get and fly it as FAST as you can without dying lol. All cockpit views, none of that 3rd person view crap. You will have SO MUCH FUN, it is the BEST canyon run I have found so far. What did you do in the Airforce? I served in the US Navy and Army from 87-95 until I broke my back in a training accident that ended my military career.
@@FastTimesVero I was a gunners mate in the Navy on the USS Iowa 16 inch Turret one. I was Airborne Infantry in the Army. Thank you for your service as well. I just found you channel and it is very entertaining my brother.
Great channel man.... when you go PC, let me know. Nearly 400 in my hanger. Addons have been developed to organize and help sort. Saves alot of time. msfs addons linker, aircraft manager pro, & location manager pro are must haves in PC.
@FastTimesVero I got lucky and found a used pc with a gtx1650 for 300 on ebay, it let's me enjoy the sim and record using just 1080 capture software. It definitely has some issues in the cities but it works great overall and it opened up an entire world of fun Mods. I still play mostly on my Xbox x because it generally runs smoother than my pc. The xbox controller works great with the pc as well
I must say that i truly wish more content creators reviewed products like you do. While we may vary differently on the opinion of small detail on an plane. Its just nice to have straightforward "is it good or not." Thank you for making these videos.
Hey, man... as the rest said, top content and delivery. I really think you should give the Gripen(Griffen) a chance. Greetings from Hellas ( me, my father and brother have more than 30 years of service combined at the same HN special unit)
@@FastTimesVero My bad... Hellenic Navy. We all served ( my brother still does as a Commander) at the Command of Naval Weapons. My father has also served at Fletcher type destroyers in the 60s.
I would take the Shrike Simulations MD-530 over the Cowan Sims Hughes 500. The Cowan sims bird has a low resolution cockpit that is very blurry in VR. The Shrike Simulations bird is CRYSTAL clear in VR plus it comes with weapons that fire on the PC.
Thanks for this contribution. Thanks for your service to the USA as well. Obviously, you are not big on GA aircraft which I understand completely being military. If you do get the urge, you have to try the recently released A2A Comanche. Nothing like it for GA flying.
Fun fact about the Corsair, the designation FG-1D indicates that the aircraft was built by Goodyear. It is AWESOME in VR, you can't grasp how long the nose of that aircraft is until you see it in VR.
@@FastTimesVero your welcome dude! You have made this community, proud! You deserve a lot more for being such a great person, I thank you again for being amazing!!
What a great GREAT video! Thank you for this on behalf of your viewers! I really appreciate the time you put into the videos you are making- I know you have a goal etc, but great content for us, the viewers👍 Thanks Josh, love your stuff🤓 Stop the presses. Fouga magister. ??? What gives? Where’s that one in your purchases? I’m a little hurt… Bit of an international incident between us…
Can't you get an external HDD and connect it to the Xbox for more storage? I am on PC and I have 401 aircraft. Most I won't fly but at least in multiplayer I will see correct models instead of generic models because I own the aircraft.
Great vid👍. Also guys know on xbox x that kind airport in indiana causes crashes even after new install of sim so beware that airport! Also vero my xbox fan arrives today you reccomended in older vid👍👍
What’s you hanger count now, I only have like 76, but when Aerosoft A330 comes out, I’m buying that, than on my b-day Sept. 26, I’m buying PMDG 737-800 and liveries, and than after that of course, the BlueBird 757 family!
Quick question vero can you tell me online your opinion what the best eurofighter in msfs2020 for xbox cj simulations or the other bredok3d please I have Bredon but wondering if I should also get cj thanks
Just wanted to chime in and agree with you and confirm: ATR, A321, B767 Cap Sim, A-225, and the DHC-4 are very good and well worth their price. Nice , practical review on your part. Thanks.
@@FastTimesVero thank u Ngl I appreciate u like every time the marketplace goes out I go to ur channel to see what to buy or don’t thanks to u man thank you
I hope you know I am just busting your balls about the Xbox, I have MSFS installed on my Xbox X so I can fly when my back is hurting so bad I can't get out of bed. For the longest time the Xbox version had newer maps than the PC but those new maps made it to the PC eventually.
I have seen videos of DC designs F-4 Phantom and omg it looks amazing if you haven’t already watched a video of there F-4 you need to I am in shock on how it looks and sounds
@FastTimesVero I've been studying it for around a month. The navigation and fmc is a challenge but I'm getting it down now. Very complex systems but so rewarding. The option to totally refit the plane instruments and features is amazing. I've got the version with fold down hud and modern avionics. Its simply amazing. Nothing else gets close bro.
