I just discovered that Bobby Timmons album last week, I really enjoyed it! Heaven or Las Vegas might be in my top 10 of all time. It shines through clearly how rewarding it is to have musical tastes as eclectic as you do, and it's heartening that you treasure the experiences as well, of concerts or record shopping and ther people you meet, and the like. Your enthusiasm is infectiopus and I hope you will inspire more people to the hobby. My favorite thing in music right now is finding the 5.1 and quad and Atmos surround mixes that are out there and experiencing the music in a whole new way. Hope you have an incredible musical 2023!

Hey, nice collection. I hope You stick with the hobby for life. 😊 My recommendation is to free the speakers from that confined space. Trust me, letting your speakers "breathe" is more imperative, than including any expensive component to your system. Pull them out into the room and You will achieve a wider sondstage and better imaging with advanced detail. If You lack the know-how, maybe somebody in Your close circle with a similar hobby can assist You with proper speaker placement, otherwise You are missing out on what Your records and CDs have to offer. Really great to see a younger person like yourself into vinyl, and that groups/artists like Camel and Alan Parsons are in your collection - I thought only prog-rock boomers like me would be into those😂. I'd be interested to know what you might say to the vinyl naysayers, who question why this "archaic", "inferior" and "inconvenient" format still exists in these days of streaming (and CDs). LPs can last decades, IF you take care of them. If you haven't already, get yourself some kind of wet cleaning system - it can do wonders for both pre-owned and new vinyl. Also, use anti-static inner sleeves, and try to keep the area where you play your records, and anything that comes into contact with them, as clean and dust-free as possible, including your turntable and stylus - it can all help to preserve these wonderful dust magnets! Good luck on your vinyl journey.

Very nice collection and enjoyed your video. You'll love Alan Parsons music, it is like listening to a story book being read to you. I've seen him 4 times and have all his albums. If you can find any Japanese pressings for cheap, buy them, great sounding and very quiet. Enjoy the music ✌️
He/They are incredible live in person, especially in the correct concert venue and the right acoustics. If you get a chance, go, he is still touring. I love all his albums, especially Japanese pressings, of which I have all albums, but to pick 1, I Robot. That album I have multiple versions/pressings, my favorite is the UHQR MFSL version from 1983 and the more recent mofi version as well, but still have my og. My last purchase was the complete album boxset they released fall past year, but still remains sealed.

Hi Nora, you’ve got great eclectic taste. My favourites you’ve shown are ‘Main Course’ The Bee Gees & ‘Burial’ which sounds like London at 3AM! That ‘Cocteus’ is fantastic. ‘Kiss Me,Kiss Me,Kiss Me’ is another favourite..I love the song ‘Like Cockatoos’ Nothing wrong with Hall & Oates’ I’ve got their greatest hits on vinyl, which is all killer no filler. Great video.
