2nd story: No matter how much OP pleads and tries for reconciliation, it’ll never undo that sort of betrayal the ex and her baby went through. They were kicked out because the ex was defending herself due to BEING ASSAULTED FIRST. HE didn’t even hesitate and kicked her and their newborn baby out of their home. Ex will never be able to unlive that. Hope she’s living her best life
If you needed space, why not go for a walk, sleep in separate beds, or put matters on hold until you were ready to discuss what had happened? Kicking your wife out of her own house after she responded to years of provocations from MIL was such a major fumble.

The part in the 2nd story that piss me of the most. Is that the husband keeps saying that he " can't handle violence," but it was only triggering to him was the wife punching the mother?? I'm still mad at them for putting the niece on the spot in their stories. They didn't need to go on about her weight and eating habits like that. Felt like OP was almost trying to blame her being hungry for this all happening. Even if he wasn't what was the point of fatshaming her on the internet?
I feel like the people in the first story who had the audacity to message her how horrible she is for not going to the cops or CPS has never been in the system and it shows. Especially considering she mentioned that her younger brother has autism. It's like you're begging for her to put them both in a position where they're abused just separated so they don't even have each other. Assuming this is in America the system we have in place for these kind of things is absolutely trash and completely riddle with abuse and trafficking cases.
