"Dingy, dark and dated" is what you called the before entryway design. Yet, I found the before and after were both beautiful. I really like the molding on the walls. it makes the appearance of the home more upscale and minimal in appearance. As always when we get a chance to see any part of your home it is beautiful. I honestly didn't think it was possible to love your home anymore than I already did, but this just blew me away. It is GORGEOUS! your foyer/entryway has a very welcoming Southern charm that I absolutely love. It feels like you're in a beautiful bed and breakfast.
Nikki it's one thing to makeover your home but what you two always accomplish is more than a makeover. It's a transformation and it looks professional and classic. All of the touches are stunning.

Our home is the same layout and we have a library across from the dining room and just like you, It is where we have our morning coffee! And from that room or the dining room, we can sit and enjoy the view of our foyer too! From every room of the house, this is the vantage point and Yes, it makes us soooooo happy every time we see it! Our color theme is the same as yours, except our newel posts are painted black to match the handrail. And our next step is the molding on the walls and stair runner! I need a "Mike" in my life. The things I want to do in the apartment, as the list is long and I would have to do it myself. Decluttering, cleaning, reorganizing and I looked forward to do this due to the pandemic. This is motivation to do so and as much as I can within my power, just overwhelming. But how gorgeous it turned out Ms. Nikki, just absolutely GORGEOUS!!

WOW 🤩 I love the makeover. I can’t wait until we’re done moving on these military orders too. I miss doing projects like this in our home. We’re renting it out right now but as soon as this tour is over and we get back home, I’m ripping out the carpet in our bedroom for wood floors. This was so inspiring Nikki! Absolutely stunning! My hubby has been remodeling our home for the last five years. We are finishing up a master bath and closet, plus a new foyer and five-foot-wide hallway with molding. The next step will be painting our kitchen, using your kitchen cabinet painting tutorial. You and Mike make a great team!

The stairs are amazing. I have been racking my brain on how to update our stairs. I was hoping you were going to put down a rug runner with the hardware when I saw your sneak peek on IG. So classy. Mike did a fantastic job with the molding, carpet runner for the stairs, paint.....just everything. Nikki I love the new cabinet and decor. The vibe is different now. Just wonder. Can't wait to see the floor in detail.

Love it! I LOVE that space bc the stairway is so architecturally pleasing w/the paneling- looks like it was already there bc it's so professionally done! And, I love the understated decor, bc w/the paneling, it could look cluttered quickly if too much is on the wall! We're renovating a house in the mtns, & I'm using the gray/white color scheme, too, in the foyer, & I'm continuing to the kitchen, but then adding pops of yellow & blue in the family room + the gray & white! I think we have similar taste! Again, so lovely!

Gorgeous! I hadn’t been watching lately. I have a small house and right now I am trying to decide which dishes, and Christmas dishes etc, to keep. I was sitting there just being overwhelmed. I have tons of service pieces. But, I Am in my 60’s and I think I really don’t want to have big dinners anymore. Anyway, I thought, Nikki ! Go to her old videos and you’ll figure it out. God is so good. I remember watching all your videos in a tiny guesthouse, I remember wishing I had a beautiful home like yours, Fantasizing about the things I would do I I had a house, and although I was grateful myself and my family had a roof over our heads it wasn’t the best place to live. Today I’m in a beautiful home that my husband and I bought and now I watch your videos and think about those days ... I am constantly doing projects in our new home, I love it so much.
