Would love a breakdown of all the lyrics meaning

This song is amazing and I have spent wayy too long thinking about what it means. Warning, Long Post Ahead: In general, I think this song is about the joy and euphoria of approaching God in your own way, as you are, with every wall down. It's about beginning to understand who God is on a deeper level and realizing that His presence is beautiful. Everything pales in comparison to His beauty and goodness so much that all you can do is praise His name. I'll expand on that in a moment as I break down the lyrics. *no sleight of hand. no twist of fate. no trick of light. no secret rite. no sacred space.* - The song starts breaking down all of the practices people commonly use to try and reach God, and that this experience has none of those. It it simply the singer and God, with no extra bells or whistled attached, no trickery or special rituals. *I’ll be at the far end, free of every pretense. we can tell the truth here, I can tell the difference* - This is probably from God's perspective, saying that while He might seem unreachable, He will connect to us through His Spirit. He invites the singer to approach Him with an honest and sincere heart, and that He can tell if their prayer is truthful because He know our hearts. *infrared and evergreen, indigo and every shade between* - The singer is describing the range of colours that he can see now that they couldn't before, which is a metaphor for gaining a whole new perspective from spending time with God. Infrared light is invisible to the human eye, but radiates from heat and is used for thermographic imaging. It serves a nice parallel to My Epic's previous EP Ultraviolet. It's worth noting that infrared, evergreen and indigo correspond to red, green and blue respectively, which make up the RGB spectrum that our eyes use to process colour. *I’m catching you in high color, and I’ve never seen this side before. You look really beautiful in Loriella* - This carries on previous lyrics. The singer is beginning to see new sides of God's character that he didn't know about, and it's beautiful. Loriella (the name of the album) is a girl's name which means 'Crowned with Laurels'. Laurels have been used a symbol in classical and Christian art, and are typically associated with victory. When I think of victory in the Bible what comes to mind is the resurrection of Christ, as a victory over sin and death and the key to salvation. So perhaps these lyrics are of the singer basking in the awe and beauty of Jesus' sacrifice and victory. *no case to make. no axe to grind. no turn of phrase. no code to break. no scales to blind.* - 'An axe to grind' is a phrase that means to have a grievance with someone else, and the 'scales to blind' refers to the scales that were on the apostle Paul's eyes after his encounter with Jesus. The singer feels comfortable with God, he doesn't feel the need to defend himself, or argue with God, and that he can hear God more clearly and doesn't have to decipher what He's saying. *I’ll play you a fanfare, any key you like, dear. black sheep in a blue moon, we can fill our own shoes* - This one stumps me the most, so I can only hazer a guess. A fanfare is a short piece of music played to represent someone when they appear, and might be referring to worship through songs of praise. A black sheep is defined as 'an unconventional person who does not fit in', and the phrase 'once in a blue moon' describes a rare circumstance that does not happen often. From this, it might that the singer desires to worship God in his own unique way. *I’m captured by the light of it. everything is luminous in Loriella* - The world is coloured anew and lit up by the new understanding from God's Word. Everything in the world seems beautiful. *you and I, we can find our way from here. couldn’t sing an old song, had to make my own. I used certain phrases only you would know* - carries on the theme of the previous phrase, where the singer doesn't want to follow other's people's ways of worshipping God, but wants to do it his own way. The 'certain phrases' might be the individual ways that we all pray to God; we all do it differently, but God knows every one of us. *I’ll never find the words for this, all that i can whisper is Loriella* - The singer is left speechless and can only praise God's name, exclaiming 'victory' *Loriella, whenever you're around. Loriella, forever, here and now* - God presence is a victory, it always has been and always will be. I love how this song weaves this artistic imagery and metaphor to create something moving and powerful while not having to rely on mentioning God's name to get it's point across. I'll probably be listening to it for many days to come.
