My Essentials for Camping at a Music Festival

This is quality content. Awesome job Ade! Here are some random camping I came up with after watching this video :) 1.Definitely 100% bring a source of light. flashlights are cool but lanterns are better! 2. If you are cooking make sure to bring proper coking supplies like cooking spray, spatula, tongs etc, AND DO NOT FORGET CLEANING SUPPLIES FOR AFTER YOUR MEAL! If you don't clean it right away your food crusts over you and you will only get one use out of your pot/pan or waste alot of water cleaning the gunk out. 3. Flip flops/ slides are a must! Not only for the shower but its much easier to go in and out of your tent by kicking off your slides rather than taking off your shoes every time or worse attracting dirt into your tent 4. Try and get the water jugs with the faucets/ dispensers. this way it also acts as a mini sink for washing hands brushing teeth etc. 5. A great way to reduce clutter is a daisy chain. Its like a clothes line with built in clips to hang things from. I hang my garbage from here as well as lights, my hydrationpack, bags of snacks, anything that shouldn't be left just laying on the floor. Helps keep my campsite a little more organized and cleaner. Hope these help you and others for forest!

These tips are more for people who are driving and have room in their car. Washing out and filling with water a used Tide laundry detergent bottle with the push dispenser for portable hand washing. Outside rug for your tent so you dont bring dirt inside the tent. Can take your shoes off at the rug. Freezing your water bottles to save a bit on ice. About 4 more months till Electric Forest, I cant wait!

This will be my 5th year returning to Electric Forest, I highly suggest bringing extra portions of food to share with neighbors as a ice breaker. I always bring pancake stuff and make everyone in the vicinity breakfast if they want it.

Awesome video!! You’re killin the game! I’m a big camper (have been a wilderness guide professionally) so I love being prepared for camping fests! I like to cook at camp. I also am lazy and don’t really want to do the whole wait for shower thing so we set up a privacy pop up and either pour jugs of water on ourselves or have a solar shower. A life saver when it’s super hot out!

Not really a hack but sort of a fun thing to do. I noticed in good life a lot of the tents had interactive bits outside of them. Like a mail box to leave letters. Diy fairy doors ect. I thought it was so cute so now I'm building my own fairy door to leave outside my tent all weekend!

There are some great reusable camp sets with plates / silverware / cups! Get some camp soap and camp sponges and you'll be good!

Get dry ice for your cooler if you can! Don’t have to keep buying ice everyday it’s gonna last for at least two days and I recommend putting your drinks or things you don’t mind getting frozen cuz whatever touches the ice WILL freeze

What do you do with the larger walmart order items when you leave the festival?

I have a small pop up tent but where do i keep my suitcase?

Pro tip: COTS over air mattress every time! Don't have to inflate/ re-inflate every day. no mess no worries! Especially if you don't have electricity! (If you have space anyways.) Also the inflatable chairs are WAY better!
