Amazing carry Pete. I tell you what, I love the stark contrast between last year’s edc and now. Adventuring in life and style is the name of the game 🏴☠️
New knife day has been my favorite day since I was ten talking of EDCs, I've taken to making a little mini belt clip pouch my everything pocket. I keep cards and cash in it, a mini-leatherman, band-aids alcohol wipes and aspirin, a pen and marker, a small little notebook, matches, and six feet of paracord snake-knotted on the outside. my keys hang off it too and slip into the front pouch. I keep my knife and light clipped in my pocket, of course. But, that little bag literally keeps everything you could possibly right in one place, medkit, pliers, fire, wallet, rope, All that in a little 4.5x3x1.5 black Multicam zipper pouch clipped to my belt. It's pretty much Pete's Photographer's emergency pouch, EDC on-your-person version.
DUDE. That watch is just something else. Also a recent convert to the daily flashlight carry - I was like nah, never gonna happen. Bought a £20 Olight and chucked a rechargeable aaa in it and oh man, I use it like 5 times a day.
Pete u can literally make anything intresting …. Been learning so much from your videos for my videos … Thanks Pete … im sure u inspire million others as well and we all are gratefull 💯🔥
You see, these are the things that Pete was talking about when he said he wanted to do things a bit different in 2022. The intro was iconic. 😂 So good!
Hello Peter.. audio tech here with 20 years experience.....THE most important tech gear is a small flashlite with one of those lil mouth adapters that looks like an ice scraper... this is so you can bite down and free up ones hands while doing whatever tech thingy. An absolutely mandatory piece of gear, no matter if I'm running some clubs audio board., Or manning the photobooth. That damn thing stays on my belt!
I edc a chest pouch with zip wallet, Oppo phone, keys on a Christian keychain, and my Leatherman squirt. Love to see what everyone else is carrying. Good vid. :-)))
He showed a LNW All Access Pass in the thumbnail, but didn’t talk about it. I love mine and use it for something or other every day, too. That and my flashlight get the most use.
I love EDC virtually, but hate EDC IRL as I can’t help thinking if you had a bigger phone you could get rid of everything (bar the knife but if I carry one of those I’d be arrested) and it would come with a battery in it so you didn’t have to carry one around. I bought a valet tray and the only thing in it is the car key. (Can’t wait for HomeKit to do that) Flashlight - on your phone (we call it a torch all the time, never a flash light) Wallet - apple wallet Keys - HomeKit locks Notebook and pen - Siri dictation and notes Question though, am I a minimalist because I carry all of those things in my phone? But I still have all of those things? Also, I’ve been watching you channel on Oculus. Some of your content is just amazing on that screen. But would love a VR ride along in Wally ;)
That intro is literally everythin. Your video is mesmerizing & top of the top. Love it. Been waiting for this 'what is in my pocket' since last year. Hope you will continue on doing this pete. Cioaw..
Very cool that you're a knife guy. And that you carry great knives, like the Chris Reeve in this video. USA Made and Chris and Ann and the other folks at Chris Reeve Knives are some of the nicest people in our industry. Very cool...
Hey Peter! love the knife especially because of the name! I am from South Africa and the name comes from A Zulu Language here meaning "head of the family" but mostly used as "the boss" Pretty awesome name!
That little mag go deal is pretty sweet, but honestly, the regular sized 13 pro is a battery CHAMP, and not a super big phone. I considered the mini but when I saw the size difference, the better screen, the extra lens, and the reported battery life, I had to get the 13 pro. Such a solid upgrade.
I like to carry a black light flash light. I find it much easier to find things in the dark (especially if you drop things in packed music venues). Also a flashlight can be a little bit of a self defense tool at night as it blinds.
you should try the ThruNite Archer Pro. It's a nice portable flashlight for under $30 that pushes out 950 Lumens and is USB-C rechargable. It's a great light for the price.
I’ve got an OrbitKey leather key organizer for my keys because I hate having them rattling around making noise when I’m on set working. I think you’d really dig them, they age well, and as a fan of leather and efficiency I could see you really enjoying it!
would you be cool with doing a what's in my truck vid. I think that's something people would like. Love your vids, and keep the inspirational juices flowing 🤙🏻
