Molly: these curls will stay in until I next wash my hair which will probably be about 3 days. Me: when ever I curl my hair it falls out in under an hour. No joke.

It might be the curling iron?? Whenever I curled my hair would drop out in a couple of hours but when my friend does my hair with her curling iron they stay in for days

To be honest, if you have natural hair, it doesn't hold curls as long. Hers is both extensions AND dyed, which makes the hair much more coarse and keeps curls in longer. That's what happened to me when I went from brunette to blonde. Hair used to fall flat literally within an hour, but now will stay in till the next day.
