Not all primers block the pores..only silicone based primers that r meant to fill in the pores do it...bt there r so many primers in the market nw that r hydrating..

I think so primers are good of u apply only in necessary and required quantity , do not go overboard with primer but good to use primer on daily basis as well , it will not let your foundation , concealer to go deep into skin ... So must use primers
