So Emma, about the social influencer super-hero. This idea is really hanging with me. I just read an article, which gave me a direction for the super-hero backstory. According to Live Science, there is a hole under the country of Panama, where 'mantle wind' blows from middle Earth! This 'wind' is actually magma--hot, melted rock, from deep in the Earth--which is escaping like air from a bicycle tire puncture, from a crack in the Earth's mantle! The reason scientists suspect this, is because rock from beneath Panama is spraying below the bottom of the ocean, to show up, above ground thousands of miles away. These rocks are being pushed to the surface, like meteorites falling from space; and they are just as strange. Imagine some have extra-terrestrial properties. Imagine falling into this hole leading to middle Earth. The opposite of no gravity in space, there would be tremendous gravity, like a black hole. Humans would not typically be able to escape, having to live at different levels of middle Earth, depending upon where they ended up. Some would evolve into hobbits; however, some would have the strength to escape, after touching a certain mineral from middle Earth, essentially becoming a mineral-human hybrid, or mutation, able to interface with rock, and climb back to the surface, partly your old self, but partly a naive baby. As the story goes, you are regular Emma Marie, your more than average social influencer, on a modeling vacation in Panama. You are with your immediate Family, touring some jungle terrain, when, alone you suddenly get sucked into a sink hole. This is caused by the mantle wind blowing out, creating a surrounding low-pressure suction. If the suction does not drag a person down, inescapably, to middle Earth, it sucks the life from them. Turning them to stone, starting with where their body comes in contact with 'mantel wind rock.' But if you scramble, or tumble like a gymnast, you can use that interface/contact between yourself and the rock as a kind of ladder, and escape to the surface. Throughout human history, it would seldom happen. With you, it did.
