I completely agree with what you said about not faking anything anymore and just being natural and enhancing your natural features. I've recently decided to do the same because I'm more comfortable with how I naturally am. It's actually a confidence booster.

I loved your tutorial! I really appreciate that it's not a 20 minute long makeup look but still makes your eyes look really pretty. I watched other monolid makeup tutorials because I have complexes about them but all of them are time-consuming and elaborate (ahahha just shows I don't have enough commitment) Anyways, thank you!!

No but it's because this eyeliner rocks! Haha seriously though - would highly recommend the Revlon Colorstay liquid eyeliner in black. Give it a good shake before you use it too!

don't worry, you're not missing out on a lot by not having a crease. I have one, and in the beginning, it was so difficult to do makeup for me. I have to do my eyeliner specifically, or my entire lid will be black. Any amount of eyeshadow I put on would be hidden because of my crease. I couldn't put any makeup above my crease because it would look awful. I have to do a very thin line for my eyeliner, or else it would transfer to the top of my crease. It would also warp the shape of my eyeliner.

Really pretty, Amy! Reminds me of frmheadtotoe's everyday look except she did her liner with gel liner and it's a more copper look, no gradient. It's totally different actually haha, but I she did a monolid look.

Haha I sleep laaaatee!! I guess my only skin secret would be that I invest all the money I'm saving from not using face makeup into skin care products! I've been using Clinique and Lancome skincare since I was pretty young. As for my eye bags, I use eyecream... x) Ladies - you can never start too young!! I'd recommend Lancome High Résolution Eye Refill, but it's bit pricey ...so I asked for it for Christmas haha :-D

I have puffy flat monolids too D; Whenever I put on eyeshadow it looks awkward but I will try this makeup! My right eye eyeliner always turn out better also! haha :)

I think the "flat" look is the western perspective of an authentic asian, at least for the fashion world maybe. I say "authentic" cause we all know asian people eyes vary from person to person, but I think that's the preferable look of the fashion world.

I have a mono lid also, and when I open my eyes, my eye lids get tucked under. When I do my eyeliner with liquid eyeliner, i usually set it with a black eyeshadow so it doesn't stick.

amy have you tried curling your lashes then applying mascara? i heard benefit's theyre real helpes with keeping eyelashes up. i curl mine because they literally go down -_-
